Dr. Marty gives to us the message of understanding the perfect love in an imperfect world. The full video can be found at http://Godlovesleland.com which includes the recount of his interview with a holocaust survivor named Rachel.
This though-provoking video digs deep into the idea that everyone worship somethings. It could be money. It may be relationships. It might be power. Who or what do you worship? Video by Lifetone. http://www.videosforyouth.com/mini-movies/22223/everyone-worships-something
When hearing someone say, “Let's get healthy,” there's the tendency for us to be deaf to the “get” part and jump directly to the “healthy” part. If we're talking to our doctor, we want a pill or a procedure that will fix us quickly. If we're talking to our pastor, we want a prayer that will fix us quickly. Whether we choose the medical building or the church building, we want the “healthy” part without having to deal with the “get” part. But the danger of skipping the prep work in healing is that the healing won't hold up over time. The doctor may only be able to treat the symptoms, or the pastor may only be able to provide temporary relief—all because the conditions that created the problem in the first place still exist.
Do you struggle with the desires of your flesh? If you do, then we want to tell you are not defeated by them and that there is Hope to overcome it all.

God gets no glory by leaving us to suffer—even if we have a good attitude about it. He gets the glory when we get the victory—when we become what He promised. God does not settle for half‐baked successes. His promises take us from lumps of clay to works of art. He has no intermediate level of success. That in‐between stuff is of our own doing.
This week we’re interviewing Jeremy Wagner and discussing power evangelism. Jeremy is a waiter who often prays for the customers and receives words of knowledge for them. Jeremy also demonstrates spiritual healing in many different contexts.

If I am suffering from some kind of health issue, the very moment I decide that God is somehow getting glory from my suffering is the very moment that I neutralize God's resurrection power that lives within me. Yes, we Christians have suffered throughout history for the cause of Christ. And suffering for Christ brings Him glory—but any other suffering on our part does not. I know this does not go down easy—God, however, is not glorified in our defeat but in our victory.
Have you heard the saying, "You might have lost the battle, but you haven't lost the war" or something similar? This is true for the world, but is it true for the church?

All those wild and crazy promises God gives us in His Word are not meant to cheer us up as we sit on the sidelines. God wants us in the game. God does not want us to be sidelined by anything—including sickness and disease.
