Late June 2014 at Calvary Temple (CT) in Brandon, MB. This is originally for tenor saxophone and big band. A really funky arrangement of a popular hymn.
And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 2 Thessalonians 2:7. In 2 Thessalonians and The Book of Revelation, we are clearly told that the revealing of the Antichrist, that awful being, has an APPOINTED season. HE CANNOT ARISE BEFORE HIS TIME. We are then told why and how this is, and what is holding him now. http://lionandlambministry.blogspot.com/2015/07/he-who-now-letteth-will-let-until-he-be.html
Pastor Lupe Garcia preaches on Prison Walls. People put up walls all around them to become some one others want them to be to only find themselves in their own prison.
Hebrews 11 36 Some faced jeers and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. 37 They were put to death by stoning;[e] they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated— 38 the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground.
39 These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, 40 since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect. http://www.susanwaldrop.org [email protected] [email protected]
We have been given a lot of authority—over more areas of life than we realize. But all this authority that Christ has given us only works with His hands‐on help. So, no more to the idea that I do my thing and God does His! If I want to live—really live—it’s not my thing and His thing. It is our thing—God and me working together.
In order to grow strong, we must grab hold of the resistance that comes against us and handle it just as we would handle the weights in a gym. We will not grow strong if we avoid resistance. “And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV)
Jesus has always been God, and always will be God. Jesus was God before He ever came to live with us. And yes—it is good that we magnify Jesus Christ as God. But as we begin to better understand how He came to be like us and to live with us in the trenches—dying for us—well …. We will want to magnify Him even more.
Pastor Lupe Garcia preaches on Today You Will Be With Me In Paradise. The message of the cross to the one sinner who died beside Jesus and went with Him to paradise.
We can say all day long, “I can do it!” But idle talk has no real authority. At some point, we have to move from just saying, “We can do it!” to actually doing it.
