We have come to know Grace for saving us and for when Jesus comes back, but for the in between (the now) it is up to us do it. What if Grace is also for the "now?"

How often do we expect God to answer us in the way that we want it to be? How often are we not expecting the answer in which God gives us and we want more or something else?

The woman with the issue of blood was convinced that to just touch Jesus’ clothing would fix what was wrong with her. And the same is true in today's world; the very presence of God materially fixes things. But Jesus, in bodily form, is not going to embrace us physically. We are not going to experience God's presence with any of our physical senses, short of an unusual visitation. We do, however, have (in Jesus' own words) a better option. “Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.” (John 16:7 NKJV) And once we realize the presence of God within us, we can see just how much of an advantage we have.
Hope Rising at the Meadows Ranch is a faith-based aftercare program that offers outpatient and short term stays (6 week intensive outpost program) that include therapies that are experiential in nature and are proven to accelerate stability in trauma victims. We use equine therapy, art therapy and discipleship character building to bring the trauma victim out of survival mode and into self-awareness and emotion regulation as well as help them with developing healthy interpersonal skills.

Those stripes that saved us from all our sins were the exact same stripes that healed us from all our diseases. Another human being, such as a pastor, might be involved in the process when we are forgiven, but Jesus does the forgiving. Another human being, such as a medical professional, might be involved in the process when we are healed, but Jesus does the healing. And please don't let anyone talk you into believing that the healing mentioned in Isaiah chapter 53 was only a spiritual and an emotional healing. Yes, Jesus made it possible for my rebellious spirit to be healed. Yes, Jesus made it possible for me to get free from the guilt and shame of my sin. But Jesus also made it possible for me to be healed in my physical body.
