The Christmas season can bring so much joy, but it can also be a sad time for those who have lost loved ones. This family is experiencing Christmas without their beloved son for the first time this year. 200-Year-Old Painting Gets Mesmerizing Restoration

We've all seen old paintings in galleries and museums that have that yellow look to them. I always thought this was just old age, but what I didn't know is that sometimes it is just really ancient dust and grime. Nowadays, there are highly trained people who not only know what the grime is, but also how to get rid of it to restore the painting to its former glory. Just take, for example, the folks at the Philip Mould Gallery who are incredibly talented restorers that specialize in the meticulous task of restoring pieces of art. In this particular video, one of those specialists was working to unveil the condition of a Jacobethan portrait of an unknown woman that was painted around 1617. The video shows a goop like substance being spread on the painting and then the true beauty is revealed. Watching as the varnish of dirt melts away before your eyes is truly incredible. I was captivated watching her beauty come through years of wear! Who else wants to see more?

Shane Runion - Tattoos (Official Music Video)

This video shows a story of a man and woman who cross paths at a grocery store. The man is tattooed from head to toe, suggesting a rough life. When he opens the door for a woman, she shows offense to his appearance. The video follows each throughout their day, which includes the man getting frequently "judged" by people he encounters... and the storyline gives hint that the woman has demons of her own. You learn that the woman struggles with the loss of a child. At the end of the video, the man is attending his AA meeting and when he sits down in the circle, he finds that the woman is also attending. As they make eye contact, they realize that they're not so different after all. The video promotes acceptance and the notion that people are more alike than different, even when they don't realize it.

Each Christmas, everyone looks forward to the John Lewis advertisements that always seems to pull on our heartstrings. I can remember laughing, crying and all the feels from the past years. In this powerful commercial, little Joe discovers a friendly monster under his bed and the most amazing adventures begin to happen. But this noisy monster and his fun start to keep Joe awake all night and tired during the day. That's when Joe receives the perfect Christmas gift that allows him to get rest but also keep his new friend, Moz. I love the innocence of a child and the overall theme of friendship and love. These ads always seem to leave my heart overflowing and this one is no different. I always find myself waiting to see this commercial and this feel-good video is definitely worth the wait. I can't wait to see what this store comes up with next year.

Cat Only Takes Food In A Bag

This kind woman's heart nearly broke when she saw all of the hungry stray cats in her neighborhood. So that's when she decided to go out as often as she could to bring the stray cats food. But she noticed that one of the cats, Dong Suk, would only take food if it was left in a bag. So each time she brought the other cats food, she made sure to take a special bag for Dong. Finally, she decided to see where Dong was taking all those bags and followed her. It was then that she discovered that Dong had a kitten who she was bringing the food for. Dong had actually had 5 kittens but this kitten was her last one left. When this kind woman realized the sacrifice this loving mother cat was making she knew she had to help. So she helped find this momma and her kitten a home with their very own cat house. It is so wonderful to see the two of them in a warm house together. What an incredible mom!

Mother Cries When Toddler Sees For First Time

This sweet little girl was in for a miraculous surprise and every precious moment was caught on video. She was at the doctor’s office with her mommy after a recent procedure to correct her eye sight. So this toddler was there to have her bandages removed and test her sight. At first, the poor little girl is so scared and uncomfortable when the doctor starts to remove the tape. But thankfully, her mother is there for comfort and holds her the entire time. And once all of the bandages have been removed, she sits still for a second then opens her eyes a little. Once her eyes adjusted to the light she looks around, and realizes she can finally see. There are so many tears in this sweet video that I couldn't hold them back myself. I just love how the little girl looks right at her momma with those beautiful eyes. What a miracle!

Widow Gets New Family For Thanksgiving Surprise

The FOX5 Surprise Squad in Las Vegas is well-known for paying it forward to deserving people. During one of their trips to a grocery store, the Surprise Squad member Monica Jackson met Miss Margaret. Monica stepped up to the cash register to pay for Margaret's bill. But this sweet woman wanted to pay it forward herself, asking Monica if there was someone else who may need it more. Her incredible attitude won the hearts of everyone who saw the grocery surprise segment! During the interview Margaret revealed that she doesn't have any family in town and the surprise squad never forgot that. So when it came time for Thanksgiving they got the entire surprise squad together and showed up at Miss Margaret's door for a Thanksgiving meal. I just love her reaction when she opens the door and realizes what's happening. It makes it all that much more sweet that the Surprise Squad made her part of their very special family. What a beautiful story!

Tap And Irish Dance Collide In Talented Mashup

There's something about dancing that truly makes you feel alive. And whenever I watch Irish dancing, I am always amazed at the skill and talent. In this video, two styles of dance are combined for one of the most memorable performances I've ever seen. Just watch as these dancers take on tap and Irish dance is this incredible mashup. I love how they turn a typical dance number into a story that you truly become invested in. From the very beginning, I was in awe of the amazing skill and hard work that has been put into this routine. I love watching these two styles of dance collide and by the end, I was dancing along too. Who else wishes they could see this in person?

Sweet Girl Cheers On Her Dad At The Pool

Cliff Devries is the head diving coach at the Rochester Institute of Technology and his recent birthday dive has taken the Internet by storm. Devries is paralyzed on the right side of the body but that's not stopping this family man from doing what he loves. Just watch as his whole family comes out to the pool to support him and his high dive. And the cutest supporter of them all is his 5-year-old daughter Grace. I love how she stands on the sidelines and cheers on her daddy as he climbs to the 30-meter board. And her enthusiasm as he lands in the water just made my heart soar. We all need someone like Grace in our corner, cheering us on no matter what. This is such a sweet moment and I'm so glad that the world is getting to see it!

Carrie Underwood Sings 'Softly And Tenderly'

This year’s 51st Annual Country Music Awards was memorable for the most beautiful reason. This night will go down in history as being one of hope and healing and Carrie Underwood's performance has a lot to do with it! This country superstar gave tribute to the lives we have lost this year by singing a beautiful rendition of the traditional hymn “Softly and Tenderly." While Carrie was singing, a video played in a video on the screen behind her that included pictures and names of victims from the recent shooting in Las Vegas. 58 people lost their lives that night and their deaths have struck a chord across the nation. This touching tribute truly took my breath away. We all need to turn to God during the troubling times and this hymn is the perfect reminder. So beautiful!
