Heroin Addicts Asks The Judge To Officiate Wedding

Jennifer Jenson was 8 months pregnant when Judge Chris Wilton sentenced her in court. Jennifer had violated her probation stemming from drug use. The judge could've thrown the book at her, but he decided to give her a lesser sentence and made sure she went to treatment after the baby was born. Jennifer ended her heroin addiction and made so much progress during rehab that 2 years later, she was off probation. Now, she's about to get married and she knew just the person to officiate the ceremony. Judge Wilton gladly accepted her request and took part in the big day. It's so amazing to see how Jennifer was able to turn her life around and give thanks to the people that helped her along the way. What an amazing story!

Man Drives 2 Hours To Help Find Missing Toddler

When 3-year-old Serenity Dawn Sanders recently went missing in Alabama, Eric felt a call in his heart that he had to do something. So he dropped everything and drove 2 hours to join the search. Serenity's mom had called him on Thursday night in a panic and that's when he made the decision to step in and help. Despite the long trip, Eric knew he had to make a trip to help out. He went searching a wooded area by himself with only a flashlight and after a few hours of walking the ridges, he finally found Serenity with her family dog. Thankfully, they both made it out of the woods and Serenity seemed completely unharmed. God was surely looking out for Serenity that night and I'm so glad Eric listened to his gut instinct.

Man Shows How To Stop A Bully

We've all heard the heartbreaking stories of how violent and out of control bullying has gotten. In this world of social media, bullies can find their way right into kids' living rooms, leaving them no where to hide. Author and speaker Brooks Gibbs knows just how dangerous bullying can be so he decided to find a solution that can help kids stop bullies once and for all. He uses the idea of dominance to show students how to get the upper hand when a bully confronts them. He used a student volunteer to pretend to be a bully so that he could demonstrate this principle. She starts saying hateful things and he starts firing right back. Each insult leads to another insult and the fight quickly escalates. So he stops her and then asks to start again. But this time instead of reacting negatively to the bully he responds in kindness and positivity. The calmer he is the harder it is for her to come up with mean things to say. Of course, in a real-life situation it wouldn't be quite this easy. But with time and persistence this would really work! We need to share this with all of the teens in our lives in hopes that they could help end bullying in their own schools for once and for all!

Funny German Shepherd Plays Hide And Seek

It was a good day for a walk outside with this German Shepherd and his owner. Today, this human wanted to shake things up a bit and have some fun. So he and his furbaby are walking down the sidewalk enjoying the day but this big pup is completely unaware that his owner has a few tricks up his sleeve. His owner slows down and the canine looks back to make sure that is owner is still there. It’s almost as if he suspects that his owner is up to no good. The dog kept walking, but it did not take long for him to notice that his owner was no longer there. When he turned around, he completely froze. He looks left, he looks right, and then he looks back in the direction he was walking towards. Where could he have gone? Determined to win this game, the dog attempted to carefully retrace his steps in hopes to find where he lost his human. He sniffs and walks to where his owner is hiding. And then he looks behind the tree and there he is! He found him! He wags his tail, excited to see his owner. What a precious game of hide-and-seek.

Rescuers Save 6 Puppies Left In Potato Sack

2 kayakers on the Blackstone River were shocked when they spotted a potato sack floating on the water. That's when they heard the faint sound of small animals. These kind strangers opened the sack to find 6 newborn puppies inside. They rescued the dogs and took them to safety. Someone had tried to kill these innocent animals by drowning them in the river. Thankfully, a guardian angel was looking out for them and they all survived. They are now being cared for at a local shelter and getting the love and attention that they truly deserve. I cannot believe someone would intentionally try to harm these precious puppies. I'm so glad God put these kayakers in the right place at the right time.
