Cassie Lohrey tragically lost her husband, Ryan, after he died in a military plane crash just a month after they were married. About 3 weeks later, Cassie found out she was pregnant with their first child.
They had discussed having children right away, but Cassie was still stunned to find out the news. But when Cassie found out that she would find out the gender of her baby right around Veterans Day, she knew just the way to reveal the news. She enlisted the help of Ryan's fellow military men and had them all gather with confetti poppers. They officially announced her pregnancy and then everyone shot off the poppers at the same time revealing a sea of pink.
Cassie has said that all of Ryan's military friends have been so supportive of her during this time and she will work her best to make Ryan proud. What an amazing way to honor her husband and revel in the good news.

It's a tough road, but Greg has continued to try his best to provide for his family while still bringing hope in dark times.
Thankfully, his kindness has not gone unnoticed and the people of Las Vegas wanted to give back to this amazing man. That's when the FOX5 Surprise Squad and community partners teamed up to give Greg something special after he's given others so much. What a beautiful story!
4-year-old Sophie Fatu is talented beyond her years. Not only can this sweet little girl sing but she has a special place in her heart for the classics. In fact, one of her favorite singers is Frank Sinatra.
This legendary musician has so many hits that it's hard to pick just one iconic song. And even though I've heard a ton of covers, I think little Sophie's performance of 'My Way' is one of my favorites. I just love how she steps onto that stage with such confidence and belts out this timeless tune.
With each and every note, you can truly tell that Sophie loves to perform. Her voice gets louder and louder and she starts to put some arm movements into the song. There's something about little children singing with all their might that touches a special place in my heart. Who else could listen to this little cutie all day?
A 13-year-old boy named Virgil braved the Hurricane Harvey flood waters to help save people from drowning. During the horrific hurricane, Virgil helped his family get to safety, but as the waters were rising Virgil’s friend called him and said that he needed help.
His friend, Keshaun, could not swim so Virgil knew that he was just the person to help. So Virgil did the amazing and swam with an air mattress through his flooded neighborhood. Once he rescued Keshaun, Virgil heard more cries for help from neighbors.
This young hero returned to the dangerous flood waters and found a lady in a wheelchair. As the night when on, Virgil swam from house to house with his air mattress helping others get to safety. Altogether, he saved 17 people that day and there's no doubt in my mind that Virgil is a hero.
When KRAFT decided to launch a campaign that connects families for the holidays, they used a big, giant, bear hug to do it. This super cute way to share the love started with two large teddy bears set up in two separate cities in Canada.
Each teddy bear came with a camera and the bowtie in each bear would light up when the opposite bear is being touched. This was the perfect way to connect families who could not be together for the holidays and it will absolutely warm your heart to see these special moments.
But I think it's the surprise at the end that really god my tears flowing. I'm so glad each of these moments were caught on camera. What an amazing idea from KRAFT!
For most of us, going to work is just part of daily life. No matter how beautiful your drive may be or how God shows up we start to become used to the little miracles of everyday.
Sometimes, we forget to take time to stop and notice the beauty and wonder of God's creation all around us. So when Russian astronaut Sergei Ryazanski, Italian astronaut Paolo Nespoli and American astronaut Randy Bresnik saw the amazing images of space they captured while on the International Space Station they knew they needed to share that wonder with the rest of the world.
They took these powerful images and put them to music with the song 'The Sound of Silence' as performed by the band Disturbed. It truly is impossible to miss the magnitude of God's power when you look at all He has created God bless them for sharing such miracles with us.
10-year-old Feng E from Taiwan completely blew away the judges with his recent audition on Asia's Got Talent. As soon as he started playing the ukelele, the audience went crazy.
You can just see the look of joy and energy that radiated from Feng as he played his heart out. I can't believe this young boy is only 10-years-old and has this much talent.
And when judge David pushed that golden buzzer, I was cheering along with the crowd. This is exactly what that special buzzer was made for and I can't wait to see what Feng comes up with next. Way to go Feng! We're rooting for you little man!

Remember to always believe and never lose hope because God is all powerful and with Him, all things are possible. What a beautiful way to give praise to His name. Amen!

We've all seen old paintings in galleries and museums that have that yellow look to them. I always thought this was just old age, but what I didn't know is that sometimes it is just really ancient dust and grime.
Nowadays, there are highly trained people who not only know what the grime is, but also how to get rid of it to restore the painting to its former glory. Just take, for example, the folks at the Philip Mould Gallery who are incredibly talented restorers that specialize in the meticulous task of restoring pieces of art.
In this particular video, one of those specialists was working to unveil the condition of a Jacobethan portrait of an unknown woman that was painted around 1617. The video shows a goop like substance being spread on the painting and then the true beauty is revealed.
Watching as the varnish of dirt melts away before your eyes is truly incredible. I was captivated watching her beauty come through years of wear! Who else wants to see more?
What is the first step in changing clothes? Taking off your old clothes! Adam and Eve had chosen to clothe themselves in fig leaves. God had something much better in mind. He gave them new, Designer Original clothes!
This video shows a story of a man and woman who cross paths at a grocery store. The man is tattooed from head to toe, suggesting a rough life. When he opens the door for a woman, she shows offense to his appearance. The video follows each throughout their day, which includes the man getting frequently "judged" by people he encounters... and the storyline gives hint that the woman has demons of her own. You learn that the woman struggles with the loss of a child. At the end of the video, the man is attending his AA meeting and when he sits down in the circle, he finds that the woman is also attending. As they make eye contact, they realize that they're not so different after all. The video promotes acceptance and the notion that people are more alike than different, even when they don't realize it.
This precious 84-year-old woman suffers from Alzheimer's disease. This heartbreaking disorder can rob a person of so much and truly take a toll on the family. Though she has lost many things along the way, this amazing woman still remembers how to yodel.
Just watch as she belts out a tune with ease. It's obvious this granny has a serious talent and I'm so glad she gets to use her gift. And that smile at the end truly makes me think that she's remembering a piece of her former self.
It's so heartwarming to watch this special moment and I know the family will cherish this video for a lifetime. Do you have a loved one that suffers from a memory disorder? Let's continue to prayer for anyone affected and that the Lord will take care of each and every one of them.
Each Christmas, everyone looks forward to the John Lewis advertisements that always seems to pull on our heartstrings. I can remember laughing, crying and all the feels from the past years.
In this powerful commercial, little Joe discovers a friendly monster under his bed and the most amazing adventures begin to happen. But this noisy monster and his fun start to keep Joe awake all night and tired during the day. That's when Joe receives the perfect Christmas gift that allows him to get rest but also keep his new friend, Moz.
I love the innocence of a child and the overall theme of friendship and love. These ads always seem to leave my heart overflowing and this one is no different. I always find myself waiting to see this commercial and this feel-good video is definitely worth the wait. I can't wait to see what this store comes up with next year.
