Singing sensation Jackie Evancho shares her 2011 performance of ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’ from her Dream With Me concert. Jackie Evancho became a worldwide sensation after being crowned runner-up on the fifth season of America’s Got Talent. She was just ten years old when she made her appearance on the popular talent competition. Her classical vocals combined with high range made Jackie a standout during the series. After her appearance on AGT, this powerful voice continued to make a name for herself in the music industry. Jackie has performed all over the world to an array of adoring fans. Today, she is sharing a throwback clip from her Dream With Me concert tour. Jackie lends her unique opera voice to the Walt Disney classic ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’ and it’s truly an incredible rendition. “When you wish upon a star Makes no difference who you are Anything your heart desires will come to you” Jackie has come such a long way from this performance, but it is still mesmerizing to hear this powerful voice come out of such a young girl. Now, Jackie is 18 years old, but she continues to tour and share her vocal talent with the world. She truly has a gift like no other and I always enjoy listening to her opera numbers. This is one performer who has truly stood the test of time and I have a feeling that we will be hearing the name Jackie Evancho for years to come.

Everything about the music video for Celtic Woman’s new song ‘Homeland’ is beautiful. There is just so much to enjoy, from the enchanting views of Johnstown Castle in County Wexford, Ireland to the sound of the angelic voices and harmonies from the women singing. The group Celtic Woman is known for their joyful, uplifting Irish sound, and the song ‘Homeland’ is no different. “This is my homeland, my heart is here These are the voices I long to hear No matter how far I may roam I have a homeland, I have a home.” These are the lyrics that you hear as you see the group rehearsing and getting ready for their performance at Johnstown Castle. Celtic Woman is an all-female Irish ensemble that has been around since 2004. The group was created by David Kavanagh, Sharon Browne, and David Downes. The original Celtic Woman was comprised of vocalists Chloë Agnew, Órla Fallon, Lisa Kelly and Méav Ní Mhaolchatha, and fiddler Máiréad Nesbitt. The current performers in Celtic Woman are vocalists Máiréad Carlin, Éabha McMahon, and Megan Walsh as well as instrumentalist Tara McNeill. The unique thing about Celtic Woman is that the group members have changed throughout the years. While this can usually lead to the end of a group’s career, it seems to be an asset for Celtic Woman. “I think when people come along to see us, they know that,” says Chloë Agnew, who was part of the original Celtic Woman. “Celtic Woman has new faces all the time. It’s ever-changing, it’s ever-fresh, it’s ever-new. Celtic Woman’s new album is titled ‘Celtic Woman: Ancient Land.’ It includes a mixture of traditional Irish songs and contemporary arrangements, and their song ‘Homeland’ is the second track on the album. The group’s North American tour just started on February 28, 2019. They will be touring all around the United States through May of this year. As you enjoy listening to the song ‘Homeland,’ remember that even though we might feel at home in a certain place on this earth, our true home is in heaven with our Creator. Like the scripture says, “we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.”

Bernadette earns a nearly perfect score on All Together Now with her powerful rendition of "It's A Man's Man's Man's World." This BBC show features a panel of 100 judges from the United Kingdom who all have a musical background. The panel includes performers, producers, and other experts in the music and entertainment industry. Once an artist starts performing, the 100 can turn their light on, stand up and sing along with the contestant. The person with the highest amount of lights from that round will move on in the competition. Bernadette sailed through the earlier rounds and now she’s in a sing-off. During this phase of competition, two contestants must each sing a song for the judges. The person with the highest score will automatically move on while the other will be eliminated. Bernadette wanted to make sure that her performance stood out so she went with a completely different song style than previous ones. “It’s going to be very different from what you’ve heard me sing before.” The panel was obviously impressed with her soulful rendition of "It's A Man's Man's Man's World" because one by one, they all stood up. In total, 99 out of the 100 judges pressed their lights for Bernadette. It is so rare to have a vocalist that connects with such a diverse panel of judges, but Bernadette did it with ease. This incredible performer is on her way to the finals and that is sure to be a song we don’t want to miss.

27-year-old Wade Cota overcame his troubled past to impress all three judges on American Idol. When asked about his childhood, this talented performer said, “We grew up with next to nothing, but my mom always made it a thing where we didn’t know that we were as poor as we were. There was times where we would be hungry. My mom would always figure it out. We don’t have a lot but we love each other so much.” The family was also victims of abuse at the hands of their father. Wade bears the scars of some of the more violent instances. After one frightful scene, Wade’s mother knew she needed to remove herself and her children from this situation. She mustered up the courage to leave the house and never looked back. Now, Wade is a full-time musician in Phoenix, Arizona. He’s hoping American Idol will help him give back to his mother in a way she most certainly deserves. After sharing his story with the judges, Wade started to sing "Blame It On Me" by George Ezra. And when you hear his distinctive voice, I knew this was going to be an unforgettable audition. Judge Lionel Ritchie remarked, “I was not expecting that other person to jump out of your body.” Each judge praised Wade’s performance and he easily earned his ticket to Hollywood. And there was no one prouder of this talented young man than his mother waiting on the other side of the door. This is just the beginning of an amazing journey for Wade Cota.

33-year-old Shawn Sounds turned all 4 judges chairs with his K-Ci & JoJo's "All My Life" audition on The Voice. This Houston teacher pulled out all the stops to impress the panel as he belted out these iconic lyrics. “And all my life I've prayed for someone like you And I thank God that I, that I finally found you All my life I've prayed for someone like you And I hope that you feel the same way too Yes, I pray that you do love me too” For a moment, I thought the judges might pass on this incredible audition. But, when Shawn reached the very end, he nailed every single note. Every single judge hit their button and turned around to see the man behind that powerful voice. After the performance, judge John Legend had nothing put praise for Shawn, “You managed a difficult arrangement, which is really a sign of a lot of skill. And then at the end – Whoa!” With a voice like that, all the judges assumed that Shawn made a living as a musician. Actually, this Houston native is a middle-school teacher. After this memorable audition, I think Shawn is going to be the talk of the school. This incredible performer truly earned a 4-chair turn on The Voice and he had a hard decision to make as far as which team he would join. Ultimately, Shawn chose to join team John Legend and I have a feeling that this is going to be a contender we watch all season long.

Viral sensation Angelina Jordan performs a beautiful rendition of Whitney Houston’s ‘I Have Nothing.’ 13-year-old Angelina became an instant Internet star when she won Norway’s Got Talent back in 2014. She was just eight years old at the time and her performances racked up millions of views online. Angelina is best known for singing classic jazz tunes such as ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ and ‘Summertime.’ Since her victory, she has continued to perform and share her gift with others. Even though she may be young, Angelina has a distinctive voice that always seems to draw you in. Her smooth voice effortlessly belts out every single note of this difficult tune. With Angelina, it seems like the older she gets, the better her vocals truly become. And if this young girl has this much talent right now, I can’t imagine what she will sound like in a few years. Angelina Jordan is definitely a performer that we will be seeing for years to come. Who else is in awe of this incredible talent and unique voice?

The judges were cheering when this Voice contestant proposes after his incredible audition. When Denton Arnell stepped on The Voice stage, he had two goals in mind. He wanted a ‘yes’ from the judges and a ‘yes’ from his girlfriend. But before he got to the second item, he had to sing his heart out during his audition. With the judges turned away from him, Denton starts to belt out “Hold On, We're Going Home” from Drake. Before long, judge John Legend pressed his button and turned to see the man behind the voice. With that button, Denton officially became a part of The Voice and will move on to the next round. After he was welcomed onto Team Legend, Denton needed to ask the judges a question. “Is it okay if I share this moment with my girlfriend?” Of course, he was met with lots of nods and smiles as his girlfriend, Tiffany, was welcomed onto the stage. That’s when he turned to John Legend one more time and said, “So, being that you gave me a ‘yes’…I wanted to see if Tiffany would give me a ‘yes.’” Denton proceeded to pull a ring out of his back pocket and get down on one knee. In the excitement, Denton and Tiffany bumped heads and that made the moment even more memorable. Tiffany enthusiastically accepted as the judges cheered along. Denton definitely earned both of his ‘yeses’ today and I’m so glad that the entire moment was captured on camera. Congratulations to the new couple!
