Church Singer Earns A Perfect Score From The Judges

This church singer just earned a perfect score of 100 on All Together Now with his ‘Ordinary People’ performance. This BBC show features a panel of 100 judges from the United Kingdom who all have a musical background. The panel includes performers, producers, and other experts in the music industry. Once an artist starts performing, the 100 can turn their light on, stand up and sing along. The contestant with the highest amount of lights from that round will move on in the competition. James Thompson grew up singing in church. “Singing in church is all about unity, getting people to connect with the message that you’re trying to deliver.” Now, James is taking his talents to the big stage to try and win over the 100. Just listen as he beautifully belts out the lyrics to John Legend’s hit song ‘Ordinary People.’ “We're just ordinary people We don't know which way to go 'Cause we're ordinary people Maybe we should take it slow” As soon as he started singing, the judges were cheering and hitting their lights. The numbers began to rise until James’ smooth voice had made very single judge stand up. James earned a rare 100 and one of the judges raved about the song saying, “You sang from the heart and we felt every ounce of it.” Now, this talent is moving on to the next round and I’m so excited to see what he does next. Who else is looking forward to another performance from James?

Years later, Nick moved to Los Angeles and Zack joined the Air Force. While he was working in LA, Nick received the phone call that no one ever wants to hear. Zack had taken his own life. The tragedy hit the family hard. While trying to deal with his emotions, Nick had the opportunity to move to Japan and teach children. While overseas, he received another devastating phone call that his younger brother Matthew had also passed away from suicide. The guilt that Nick felt over not being there for his other brother in his time of need brought the 25-year-old to tears. But today, he’s standing in front of the American Idol judges in honor of his brothers. “There’s definitely been times where I just wanted to give up, but I know our brothers would want me to keep pursuing my dream.” Nick starts to strum his guitar and play the James Bay song ‘Let It Go.’ After the powerful performance, judge Luke Bryan had some special words for Nick. “I’ve lost both my siblings and I just applaud you for keeping a positive attitude and continuing to fight and just try to be a light for your parents.” The young man earned his ticket to Hollywood and will continue on his dream to be the next American Idol. Las Vegas Shooting Survivor Gets Surprise From Strangers

Dude. be nice teams up with a local high school to help surprise a deserving Las Vega shooting survivor. Autumn Bignami has been teaching at Paramount High School for 14 years. She has had such an impact on the lives of the students there, that they wanted to do something special for her. After Autumn was involved in the Las Vegas shooting in October 2017, her students planned a surprise for her to feel supported and loved. Just the way that she has made her students feel. “Mrs. Bignami is by far one of the best people in my life,” says a student named Jennifer. Another student named Avery explains that “Mrs. Bignami is the adult to aspire to be like.” Armondo, a former student of Mrs. Bignami, talks about how she and her husband are some of the kindest people he knows. When Armando couldn’t afford to go to a school dance, Mr. & Mrs. Bignami bought a tux for him. “When I offered whatever I had saved up,” says Armondo, “Bignami just looked at me and said ‘No. Just pay it forward.’” After hearing about what happened to Mrs. Bignami after the shooting in Las Vegas, her students were devastated. Her husband, Frank Bignomi, explains how his wife was shot three times during the shooting. “Once in the face, from the cheek out. Once from the back and out the side. And once in the thumb.” Autumn had to have a total of 10 surgeries to fix her injuries from the shooting. “I had a tracheotomy to help me breathe. They did an exploratory surgery, a reconstructive jaw surgery. A bone graft. I couldn’t walk because they took the bone from my hip.” As Autumn is recovering and gaining strength, she recognizes that recovery is not linear and she is “still battling every day.” Her students and school community have really rallied around her during this time. Brent, the CEO at dude.be nice, helped gather up hundreds of Autumn’s former and current students to help put on a special surprise for her. While she was eating dinner with her family at Red Robin, her students came up to her table and one-by-one started reading messages that they had wrote for her. One of the first students to come out and surprise her read, “You and Mr. B have shown me, year after year, that I am loved and remembered. Today we want to reflect that love and recognize you for the amazing person that you are.” Another student shares with Mrs. Bignomi, “You taught me how to serve. You taught me how to care. My life is changed for the better for the rest of my life, and I can’t wait to serve my community the way that you did.” It’s clear to see that the love, kindness, and generosity that Autumn Bignomi has given to her community has greatly impacted those around her. Brent goes on to tell Autumn, “Take a second. Look around. You have breathed life into these people.” And just like Brent explained, “If there were more Mrs. Bignami’s in this world, it would be such a better place.”

Inspirational 11-Year-Old Grants 3 Wishes For Nursing Home Residents

An 11-year-old girl is making headlines for helping to give back to local nursing home residents. Ruby Chitsey’s mother is a nurse who visits various nursing homes in their area. Sometimes, Ruby likes to tag along with her mom. During one of the trips, this young girl decided to branch out and visit with the residents. That was when she started to ask them a very powerful question. Ruby asked the residents if they could have any three things right now, what would they be. And the answers she received were a complete surprise. Almost every single person asked for simple, material objects such as soft drinks, snack foods and personal hygiene items. “That's all they wanted. And I really decided that I needed to do something," Ruby said. After that moment, the young girl made a decision to grant these various wishes as best she could. So she started a GoFundMe to raise money and give back to these special residents. Ruby keeps a notebook with all of the various requests and will visit the store with her mother to purchase the items. And while the residents are excited to receive these special items, it’s not really about the material possession. Ruby’s gesture shows that someone still cares about them and will take time out of their day to just sit and talk. She may only be 11, but Ruby is already showing what a caring and selfless spirit she possesses. That is worth more than any amount of Vienna sausages.

Beautiful Contemporary Dance To Lauren Daigle's 'You Say'

The Trilogy performs a beautiful contemporary dance to Christian artist Lauren Daigle’s hit song ‘You Say.’ These three teens are competing on NBC’s World Of Dance. This incredible dance competition brings together the best talent from all over the globe for a $1 million prize. Today, this trio from Maplewood, Minnesota is dancing to the Christian song that has swept the nation. “I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I’m not enough Every single lie that tells me I will never measure up Am I more than just the sum of every high and every low? Remind me once again just who I am, because I need to know” The song is a perfect reminder that in spite of what others might say, ultimately it’s God’s words that ring true over our lives. This dance performance put so many of those emotions into movement as the teens dance along to the beautiful words. “You say I am loved when I can’t feel a thing You say I am strong when I think I am weak And You say I am held when I am falling short When I don’t belong, oh You say that I am Yours And I believe, oh I believe What You say of me Oh, I believe” After the performance, judge Derek Hough said, “The choreography was very thoughtful and compelling to watch. It catches us off guard.” The Trilogy scored high enough to make it into the next round and I’m so excited to see what they do next. What an incredible interpretation of this Lauren Daigle anthem.

Heroes Catch Boy When He Falls Out Of Ski Lift

One young boy is thanking a group of strangers after they saved him from falling out of a ski lift chair. It was a terrifying sight when this woman saw someone dangling from a chair lift at the Grouse Mountain ski resort in North Vancouver, British Columbia. A boy was riding up to the top of the mountain with his dad, when he slipped underneath the rail. His dad quickly grabbed onto him and held on as the boy hung from the 20-foot-high ski lift. Carolina Prada Akoglu spotted the incident from a distance and started to record. Just watch as a group of teenagers below take notice of the dangerous situation and decide to take action. They use a nearby piece of netting and stretch it out underneath the boy. One of the quick-thinking teens even grabs a piece of padding to place underneath the makeshift net. Then, they instruct the frightened child to release his skis. Next, with everyone in position, they ask the father to let go of the boy so he can drop below. I think everyone was holding their breath as he free falls to his rescuers. Thankfully, the netting held and the boy was safely on the ground. I’m sure this was a heart-stopping moment for everyone involved but these kind heroes saved the day. God definitely put these teenagers in the right place at the right time. This incident could have turned out completely different if it wasn’t for these unlikely heroes. What an amazing moment all captured on camera.

Who is God?

Who is God? You know people have asked this question for years. Some people say God is a life force, others say that He is a personal Being, and still others say that God is only made up to control people using religion. Who is God? Have you ever thought about the answer to this question? Where did humans get their personalities? Is God a thinking being? Is God loving? Is God kind? Explore the answer to these questions in this video. If you enjoyed this short video, watch a deeper look at the existence of God.

Where is God?

Where is God? Can He be seen with a microscope or maybe a telescope? Is He high on a mountain top or deep within the ocean? There is no single, physical place that God resides in our Universe. Where is God? The Bible tells us that God is spirit and resides in His spiritual home, Heaven. It's not a physical place that can be experienced by our human senses. Rather God is omnipresent, which means He is everywhere. God is always near to us. If you enjoyed this short video, watch a deeper look at the existence of God.

What is God?

What is God? You know people talk about God all the time, but what is God really? Nobody's ever produced a picture of what He looks like, and for that matter how do you know God is a He? If we can't touch or see or hear God, how can we know what God is? The truth is the vast majority of humans have wondered what God is. You might be surprised to know that the answer is simpler than you think. God is a Spirit and the ultimate mind. He's the personality behind all creation. He's not a mindless life force, but instead He's a being Who thinks and acts. Only a thinking Being could create other beings that think; only a Spirit could create people with spirits or minds like us. If you enjoyed this short video, watch a deeper look at the existence of God.

Is There A God?

Is there a God? You know virtually every person in the world has asked this question. Some people say there is no such thing as God. Others are firmly convinced He exists, and some people, they don't really seem to know and they don't really seem to care. Is there a God? Have you asked this question? We explore the answer in this video: Does every effect have a cause? Is our Universe designed? Where does Morality come originate? If you enjoyed this short video, watch a deeper look at the existence of God.

How Big Is God?

How big is God? As humans, we are curious beings. We are constantly curious about the world around us. What can we see? Where can we go? How can we explore farther, faster, deeper and higher? We are privileged to be part of such a splendid Creation, which is so incredibly immense that it boggles our minds. Stars that are millions to quadrillions times larger than Earth; galaxies that contain hundreds of billions of stars; and a Universe that contains billions of 'island' galaxies in a sea of blackness. God, though, is not contained within the bounds of the Universe, and cannot be measured by any physical means. Rather He is a spirit Who is eternal and infinite, and yet He can reside within our hearts if we will but obey His will. If you enjoyed this short video, watch a deeper look at the existence of God.

The World’s Best is a new format that brings contestants from all over the world in every different genre. The acts audition for a panel of judges and ‘wall’ of 50 experts in all areas of entertainment. If a contestant scores 75 or above, then they will move on to the next round. After the initial audition, the battle rounds begin. Today, the TNT boys are back with a their own rendition of ‘And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going’ from the Broadway musical Dreamgirls. “And I am telling you I'm not going Even though the rough times are showing There's just no way, there's no way We're part of the same place We're part of the same time We both share the same blood We both have the same mind And time and time we have so much to share” These 3 boys may be young, but they have talent well beyond their years. 10-Year-Old's Barbra Streisand Audition Earns Golden Buzzer

10-year-old Eleana Gabunada earned the coveted golden buzzer with her Barbra Streisand audition on Asia’s Got Talent. When this young talent took the stage, she brought everything that she had. As soon as she stepped up to the microphone, Eleana captivated the entire audience with her positive personality. And then she started to sing an awe-inspiring rendition of Barbra Streisand's 'Don't Rain On My Parade.’ “Don't tell me not to live Just sit and putter Life's candy and the sun's A ball of butter Don't bring around a cloud To rain on my parade” This is a very difficult song to perform, especially for a young girl. There are so many high notes that it has a tendency to trip up even the most seasoned performers. But Eleana belted out the words in perfect fashion. This young girl may be small but she certainly possesses one big voice. And her performance definitely impressed the judges. She earned rave reviews for this entertaining performance. Judge David Foster was so impressed that he said, “There’s no doubt in my mind that if you want to be on Broadway one day, you will be.” And when it came time to vote, David decided that Eleana deserved more than just the usual ‘yes.’ He reached over the table and hit the golden buzzer sending this young talent right through to the next round. You can just see the look of joy and amazement on Eleana’s face as confetti flies down from the ceiling. I have a feeling that we will be hearing this name in the future.
