After graduation, she traveled to New York City to pursue her dream of performing, but her secrets and struggles were still there. It was like I have everything. Why is everything not okay?” Amanda gave her body away and eventually fled to Los Angelus where her downward spiral continued.
She compared her body to those around her, shoplifted, and even became addicted to pornography. But one night, at a Hollywood wrap party, Amanda met a woman that completely changed her life.
This new friend listened to Amanda’s problems and shared the message of God. Amanda looks back on the moment saying, “And to think, wow, there’s a God who sees me and knows me and loves me, despite knowing all about me. My soul just knew this is what I need. I need a savior. I can’t do it by myself.” The Broadway actress was able to receive counseling and took steps to combat her struggles.
Now, she’s sharing her story with the world in hopes that it may help someone else going through a similar situation. Remember that there is always hope in God and He will lift us up when we lose our strength.

37-year-old Damien LeRoy broke multiple bones in his body, including his back and femur when he fell 150 feet during a paragliding accident. He was severely injured from the fall and rushed to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach Florida.
After nearly losing his life, Damien was nursed back to health by a team of doctors, including nurse Alexandra Hoover. Damien said, “She was just the sweetest person and she cared so much.” He even jokingly asked her if she had a boyfriend during his hospital stay. At the time, Alexandra was seeing someone, but a year later they broke up. That’s when she started dating Damien and their love story unfolded.
When it came time to propose, Damien decided to pull off the big event in the place they first met, the hospital. So, he pretended to be a patient under a blanket while Alexandra was coming into the room to do her rounds. That’s when he popped up from the bed and got down on one knee. Alexandra was visibly shocked. “A hundred things ran through my mind and I couldn’t believe I was seeing him.” She enthusiastically said ‘yes’ and the two embraced.
Looking back on the moment and their meeting, Damien knew everything happened for a purpose. “I was for sure given a second chance in life and for sure I was put there for some reason. Now, I know and now we get to share the rest of our lives together. “ God bless this couple and their marriage.

One school bus driver from Dallas, Texas goes above and beyond his job description to create such a special community with him and his students.
Curtis Jenkins wakes up early each day to drive his young passengers to Lake Highlands Elementary. He motivates them, encourages them, and gets to know each and every one of the kids that ride his bus.
“He goes way beyond the outline responsibilities and duties of a bus driver,” says Emily Gruninger, the principle at Lake Highlands Elementary. “That bus is like a family.”
When asked about their bus driver, a young boy talks about how much Curtis cares for the students. Another girl on the bus says how kind he is to everyone.
Curtis makes sure to instill these values in the young individuals that ride his bus each day.
“We’re going to care about each other and we’re going to love everybody, right?” Curtis says this to the kids on his bus over the loudspeaker.
“These are my children. This is my community,” explains Curtis. “I love them all.”
One way that Curtis creates community on his bus and empowers the students that ride it is by giving each child a responsibility. The roles that they have help them work together and build stronger bonds with one another. They see each other as a team, with Curtis pouring into each one of them.
“I put time, effort, love, care, and understanding into each and every one of those kids,” Cutis says.
He truly loves his job and it shows! And he is impacting so many children with his kindness. One 5th grader named Ethan says that his bus ride with Curtis is often the best part of his day.
“He helps anyone in need,” Ethan shares. He also talks about how Curtis has been there for him in his time of need. “My mom got divorced when I was only 4. He’s the father that I always wanted.”
Cutis also gives out presents to his kids throughout the year. He personally selects each gift out that specifically caters to each child’s interests. For one girl, he gave her a t-shirt that had a picture on it from a book that she made.
“I’m hoping this t-shirt inspires her to keep on writing books,” says Curtis.
As he inspires the children on his bus, other adults that see his impact are inspired as well. Such a kind and giving heart, this bus driver has! And what a wonderful thing to see him motivating and teaching such great lessons to the next generation.

1. The Universal Law Of Civility should be the primary rule to adhere to in all relationships at all levels including the relationship between governing bodies and the people. The Universal Law Of Civility states that no one should ever 'take' of another without their consent. This includes: 1. The taking of anothers life. 2. The taking of anothers body without their permission. 3. The taking of anothers property. 4. The taking of anothers right to choose. The Universal Law Of Civility is The Law and it is the only one.
2. Everyone gets their own room. Each individual is provided with a room account that guarantees they have their own room at all times. No one can tell them to leave their room without violating The Universal Law of Civility and therefore no one may force another out of their room. The account is capable of being upgraded and one would have access to any unoccupied room at their room level and be able to move freely when they choose. This alone would create a culture of respect as no one would ever have to remain in a place where they are unhappy or disrespected for any length of time.
3. The provision of The Basic 3 must be made available to all citizens at all times. They are 1. Food and Water 2. Shelter 3. Health Care. The assurance to all of its citizens of these basic three are the main duty of any governing body and the extent to which each individual is provided the basics of these is a measurement of how well a governing body is governing.
4. A decision making formula or program should be used in all shared decision making to find the closest approximation to truth and to find the most agreed upon courses of action. This should be an official arena in which ideas themselves may be put to the test and compete with other ideas. Advanced versions of this process can be used as a tool to assist in reaching fair outcomes or desired courses of action in both long and short time frames.
