The talented trio of I’m With Her perform a bluegrass medley of classic hits on Live From Here. These three singer-songwriters have been touring the world for years, sharing their unique sound and performance. Their website describes the group performing saying, “Since forming in 2014, Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz, and Aoife O’Donovan have imbued their songs with a sharply detailed lyricism, graceful musicianship, and—perhaps most powerfully—mesmerizing harmonies that endlessly reflect their extraordinary chemistry.” Today, I’m With Her is at Live From Here for an incredible performance the bluegrass hits ‘Toy Heart,’ ‘Marry Me,’ and ‘Don’t You Hear Jerusalem Moan?’ The women start off singing completely a cappella and the sound flows all through the theater. “You played with my poor heart like a toy That toy broke and then we had to part It never can be mended I hope this romance's ended Darling, you toyed with a toy heart” After the first verse, I’m With Her pick up their instruments and start to play along. These bluegrass songs are a favorite by many and it’s so incredible to hear them played in such a unique way. By the time the women reach the final song in their mashup, the crowd was already totally invested. “Don't you hear Jerusalem moan? Don't you hear Jerusalem moan? Thank God there's a heaven and a ringing in my soul and my soul's got free Don't you hear Jerusalem moan?” I easily could’ve listened to 5 more songs from this talented trio. Who else is hoping to hear more from I’m With Her in the future?

Country Group Love And Theft Perform 'Amazing Grace'

Country duo Love & Theft perform a special rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’ at The Nashville Vineyard Church in Tennessee. Stephen Barker Liles and Eric Gunderson rose to the top of the charts with their single ‘Angel Eyes.’ The singer-songwriters have continued to produce popular country songs and gain a worldwide following. Today, they’re lending their voices to one of the most popular hymns of all time, ‘Amazing Grace.’ “Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me I once was lost, but now am found T'was blind but now I see T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear And Grace, my fears relieved How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed” This iconic hymn was written by John Newton as a measure of thanks to the Lord for giving him new life. As a sailor, John found himself caught in a terrible storm. After hours at the helm of the ship, his thoughts turned to God. After surviving the weather, John started his life as a Christian and dedicated himself to serving our Father. ‘Amazing Grace’ is one of those songs that truly stands the test of time and it’s so incredible to see it performed by this country duo inside a church. The words remind us all that God loves us despite all our sins and shortcomings. His love and grace extends to everyone. John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

Voices Of Service Veterans Impress Judges By Using Music To Overcome PTSD

The talented vocals of Voices Of Service impress the judges with their inspiring story and performance on America’s Got Talent. Voices Of Service is comprised of military veterans with a love for music. Their website describes the group by saying, “Voices of Service represents the diversity and excellence that exists within our military and veteran communities and is an inspiring example for the nation that they serve, have served, and continue to service through music.” These four individuals bonded through music after their time in the military. They realized that music therapy was a great tool to help with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Voices Of Service is using their platform to promote this message. Today, they’re belting out the lyrics to ‘Rise’ from Katy Perry as the judges look on in awe. “When, when the fire's at my feet again And the vultures all start circling They're whispering, you're out of time But still, I rise This is no mistake, no accident When you think the final nail is in, think again Don't be surprised, I will still rise” Stepping on the stage was no light matter for this group. Voices Of Service hopes that their audition will resonate with others and honor the military members. “To have this opportunity, it reminds you what a great country we do live in. And it’s for those people, those men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice, that I’ll stand on that stage and sing tonight.” What a truly incredible performance.

Voice Contestant Ashland Craft Performs 'How Great Thou Art'

Former contestant on The Voice, Ashland Craft, performs the classic hymn ‘How Great Thou Art’ from a Nashville church. We first met country singer Ashland Craft when she appeared on season thirteen of The Voice. During her initial audition, she turned three judges and ended up becoming a part of Team Miley. Ashland made it all the way to the Top 10 of the competition before being eliminated. Since that time, this young talent has continued to make a name for herself in the country music scene, touring with acts such as Scotty McCreery and Craig Campbell. Today, Ashland is at The Nashville Vineyard Church in Tennessee for a beautiful rendition of ‘How Great Thou Art.’ “O Lord, my God, when I in awesome wonder Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder Thy power throughout the universe displayed” This famous hymn was published in 1949 and it quickly became a worldwide sensation. Countless artists have covered the tune that tells of the amazing love from our God in Heaven. “Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art. Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art!” As Ashland belts out these iconic lyrics in a Nashville church, I’m reminded of the glory and power of the Lord. He truly is greater than anything we can ever imagine and we are so blessed to serve such a loving Father.

Lia Joham Turns The Judges With 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' Audition

21-year-old Lia Joham earns a spot on The Voice Of Germany with her rendition of ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water.’ This iconic song was released in 1969 by the popular duo Simon & Garfunkel. Over the years, many artists have lent their voices to this tune with notable performances from Elvis Presley, Aretha Franklin and Andrea Bocelli. There’s no doubt that this song has truly stood the test of time. It’s combination of difficult notes and poignant lyrics make it a one powerful number to perform. “When you're weary, feeling small When tears are in your eyes, I'll dry them all (all) I'm on your side, oh, when times get rough And friends just can't be found Like a bridge over troubled water I will lay me down Like a bridge over troubled water I will lay me down” Lia Joham has always loved singing. As a teen, she was a member of a children’s choir and even performed on the streets in Austria while attending college for sound engineering. But The Voice is definitely the biggest stage this 21-year-old has ever set foot on. Lia stood in confidence as she belted out the iconic lyrics to ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water.’ And when she hit those high notes, some of the judges just had to turn around and put a face to that powerful voice. This is not an easy song to perfect, but Lia pulled it off flawlessly. After moving on from the blind auditions, Lia will now compete for the winner’s title on The Voice Of Germany.

18-Year-Old Sophie Brings Judges To Their Feet With 'You'll Never Walk Alone'

18-year-old Sophie surprised the judges with her unique song selection of ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ on All Together Now. ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ was originally a show tune from the musical Carousel. Talented composers Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein wrote the song in 1945. In later years, other artists lent their vocals to the tune and gave it mainstream media attention. Elvis Presley released his rendition of the single in 1967 and even titled his album after the song. The powerful lyrics remind us all that we are never truly alone. “When you walk through a storm hold your head up high And don't be afraid of the dark. At the end of a storm is a golden sky And the sweet silver song of a lark. Walk on through the wind, Walk on through the rain, Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown. Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart And you'll never walk alone, You'll never, ever walk alone.” Today, college student Sophie is lending her voice to the famous tune as she competes on All Together Now. The singing show is a BBC program that features a panel of 100 judges who all have a musical background. The panel includes performers, producers, and other experts in the music industry. Once an artist starts performing, the 100 can turn their light on, stand up and sing along. The contestant with the highest amount of lights from that round will move on in the competition. Sophie’s song choice was an unlikely pick for someone her age, but it definitely moved some of the judges.

Simon Called Her Audition Terrible Until Ansley Burns Got A Second Chance

Young Ansley Burns earned a second chance at impressing the judges on America’s Got Talent and she seized the opportunity. Ansley is a small-town teen from Easley, South Carolina. Since she was just a young girl, Ansley has dreamed of singing on the big stage. Now, she’s finally getting her chance and she’s taking on a challenge with ‘Think’ from Aretha Franklin. “You better think (think) Think about what you're trying to do to me Think (think, think) Let your mind go, let yourself be free” Ansley jumped right into the song, but almost from the start, Simon seemed to have issues with the backing track. That’s when he stopped the entire performance, much to everyone’s surprise. He said that the backing track was horrible and clouded Ansley’s singing. That’s when Simon said, "So, I don’t think we can properly judge you on this, I really don’t. We really like you, but that was terrible." He asked the young girl if she would consider singing the song a cappella. Ansley’s face had a look of pure shock as she took a sip of water and walked back to the stage. She picked up the microphone and started to belt out the powerful lyrics. Ansley gets the crowd to clap along with her as she hits all the high notes flawlessly. She even gets a smile out of Simon Cowell. It’s safe to say that Ansley took full advantage of her second chance and we’ll be seeing a lot more of her this season.
