Rock star Brian Welch shares how he found God after years of drug addiction and mocking religion.
Brian is best known for playing guitar in the heavy metal rock band Korn. But many people do not know that Brian left that world behind in 2005 when he became a born again Christian. Welch even overcame his battle with drug addiction after handing it all over to God.
For years, he used meth and other drugs to mask his inner pain. After visiting rehab centers, Brian even contemplated suicide. During this time, the rocker was also obsessed with money.
He always strived to find new ways to grow his wealth and eventually teamed up with a group of realtors for a real estate deal. These particular realtors were Christians and Brian knew there was something different about them.
After noticing his altered state, the acquaintances started to speak to Brian. “They ended up just talking to me and they invited me to go to church one day.”
What started out as a means to surround himself with sober individuals became a life-changing experience for the artist. Brian said, “I went home and I started praying to God like I had been a Christian for 20 years. I was desperate.”
Now, the guitarist continues to tour with his rock band but he also uses his unique opportunities and wide audience to spread the gospel. God helped this unlikely musician overcome his deadly addiction and become a man of faith.
There is truly nothing that our Lord cannot do. Amen!
Blind singer Robert Finley returns to the America’s Got Talent stage with an incredible original song, ‘Medicine Woman.’
When we first met Robert, he auditioned with another upbeat original tune. He shared with the crowd that his love of music started at a very young age.
When he was 19, Robert served in the Vietnam War. After returning home, he started a family and got a job as a carpenter to support them. But throughout the years, he never lost his passion for music. About four years ago, while getting an eye exam, Robert discovered that he had glaucoma.
Now, he is almost completely blind in both eyes but that’s not stopping him from following his dream. “My daughter bought me a rocking chair and I told her, ‘Baby, you can take that back to the store and get your money back cause I’m not sitting in no rocking chair. I’m rocking and rolling.’”
Now, with his daughter cheering him on, Robert is vying for the title of champion on America’s Got Talent. “My daughter always travels with me. She gave up her career to follow mine. And I realize I have no excuse not to follow my dream.” Just listen as he belts out the lyrics to his original song, ‘Medicine Woman.’
“Medicine woman, have mercy on my soul
Please, don't you deny me?
Please don't be so cold?
I get a burning fever, every night
You've got the power, to make it alright”
There’s no doubt that Robert has some serious talent. This powerful performance shows that this artist is a real contender in the competition. Who else agrees?
The talented dancers of V. Unbeatable return to the America’s Got Talent stage for a performance worthy of the golden buzzer.
When we first met this dance crew, they were flipping and twisting all over the stage. The group includes dancers in age from 12 to 27.
In total, there are 29 members of the group and many of them come from the slums of Mumbai. In these areas, there is no electricity and the conditions are very dirty.
Many times there are seven or more people in one area that is meant for barely two. There are not many opportunities in these areas, but this group has found comfort and support through dance.
Through hard work and dedication, they pursued their dream of performing on the big stage of America’s Got Talent. But this return routine is even more special because it is dedicated to a former member of the dance crew who passed away. This time, they turned up the adrenaline and added more risky stunts.
It all paid off because the judges were on their feet cheering. Guest just Dwyane Wade was especially impressed. “I know the practice time it takes and I know the sacrifice it takes. I had this saying that whenever I hit a big shot, whenever I hit a game winner, whenever it was one of those moments, I jumped up on the stand and I said ‘This is my house.’ And today, on this stage, this is y'all house."
That’s when he reached over the stage and pressed his golden buzzer automatically sending the inspiring group on to the next round of competition.

It was an incredible moment of bravery captured on camera when a group of Good Samaritans worked to rescue a trapped driver.
A news helicopter flying over Oak Brook, Illinois caught this harrowing moment on film. A driver on a busy highway blew a tire causing his truck to flip over.
After landing nearly upside down, the victim was trapped inside with no way out. That’s when other drivers stopped and exited their vehicles to help the terrified man.
Together, they worked to lift the truck onto it’s side and cut the driver out of his seat belt. All together, fourteen Good Samaritans selflessly helped a person in need, including an off-duty firefighter.
Their quick-thinking definitely helped this man escape serious injury or harm. After recovering, the driver was so grateful for the kindness displayed that he decided to thank the firefighter in person.
This incident could have turned out very differently if these Good Samaritans had not stepped in to help. It is moments like this that truly restore my faith in humanity.
Titus 3:4-7 “4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.”
