13-year-old Charlotte Summers returns to the America’s Got Talent stage with a rousing performance of ‘You Don’t Own Me.’
We first met this teen talent when she auditioned with the classic song ‘I Put A Spell On You.’ That’s when we learned that this Spanish singer has been performing since she was just five years old. And she’s living out one of her biggest dreams by stepping onto the AGT stage. After a standing ovation, Charlotte easily moved on to the next round.
Now, she’s performance another classic hit with Lesley Gore’s rendition of ‘You Don’t Own Me.’
"And don't tell me what to do
Don't tell me what to say
And please, when I go out with you
Don't put me on display”
This song was originally recorded by Lesley in 1963. She was just 17 years old at the time. This 60s song was even inducted into the Hall Of Fame. Now, young Charlotte is putting her own spin on the song and it’s absolutely incredible.
“You don't own me
Don't try to change me in any way
You don't own me
Don't tie me down 'cause I'd never stay”
After the performance, judge Simon Cowell said, “We asked all these earlier acts why they’re so nervous. Now I understand because they’ve heard you.” One after another, each judge gave Charlotte a raving review.
We’ve definitely got a serious contender on our hands. Do you think that Charlotte has what it takes to become the America’s Got Talent champion?
10-year-old opera voice Emanne Beasha belts out a classic tune to earn the golden buzzer from guest judge Jay Leno.
We first met Emanna earlier this season on America’s Got Talent. She impressed the judges with her big voice and bold performance of the opera classic ‘Nessun Dorma.’
This Florida native was full of nerves as she stepped onto the America’s Got Talent stage to audition. But her positive personality easily won over the judges and crowd.
Today, she’s back for another performance that is even better than the last. Just listen as Emanne belts out the incredible words to ‘Caruso.’ With her lucky unicorn by her side, this young talent brought the audience to their feet.
After the rousing performance, the judges were full of praise for this pre-teen. Howie Mandel said, “You’re only ten years old and we are seeing acts come out here and they’re sweating and they’re not performing to par. They’re not stepping it up and they’re double your age. And then you come out here and you show them how it’s done.”
But it was guest judge Jay Leno who was truly moved by the young girl. He said, “I feel like I’m a witness to something extremely special. At some point in my career people say ‘What do you remember most?’ I remember hitting the golden buzzer.”
That’s when he leaned over and hit the coveted golden buzzer sending Emanne straight through to the live shows. Now, this 10-year-old will continue to compete for the winner’s title and she’s definitely a serious contender.

When a man suffering from Alzheimer’s forgets the words to one of his favorite songs, his caretaker chimes in to sing a sweet duet with him. What a heartwarming moment to witness!
The video starts off with the older man laying down on a couch, with his caretaker sitting right beside him. The two men start singing a lovely song together, and when the older man forgets the words, he looks to his caretaker for guidance. The caretaker continues to sing the song and the older man jumps in when he remembers the words.
Alzheimer’s is a scary disease to not only the person who has it, but to that person’s family and friends as well. It must feel horrible to have things that were once so familiar to you slowly fade away from your memory. To feel like you are losing pieces of yourself since you can no longer remember what once meant so much.
But it is beautiful to see others come alongside people in their time of need, whether it be facing a horrible disease or during a time of difficult circumstances. We all need each other, and we were made for this life to help one another with our burdens.
“Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.” – John 13:34
“For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” – Galatians 5:14
Like these scriptures say, we are called to love one another. And even small acts of love, like this caretaker singing with the man suffering from Alzheimer’s to bring a smile to his face, make a big difference.
During a Latin dance routine with many talented dancers moving across the floor, one specific dancer gets a surprise of a lifetime. A marriage proposal!
Before the proposal comes, there are a handful of couples showing off their sultry moves on the dance floor. All of them are moving their hips and performing quick steps, while spinning around, turning, and dipping. They are all so talented and entertaining to watch!
Some types of Latin dance that these dancers are probably skilled at are salsa, mambo, merengue, samba, and bachata, to name a few. The popular cultures that helped develop Latin dance and music include those that settled mostly in South America, like African, Spanish, and Portuguese. Latin dancing is considered an essential component of ballroom dancing and is a main component in many dance competitions.
During one of the routines in this Latin dance performance, a dancer’s boyfriend sneaks onto the dance floor and gets down on one knee. It seems like the whole room is in on the surprise that is about to happen, because no one makes a peep while he gets set up to propose. The dancer has her back turned to him at this time, so she has no idea what is about to happen. Her dance partner quickly turns her around, and she is shocked at the sight before her eyes – her boyfriend down on one knee with a ring in his hand!
The crowd in the room cheers and confetti is blasted into the air. After realizing what actually was going on in that moment, the dancer says yes to the proposal and the couple embrace. They share a kiss and their friends start to celebrate their engagement around them.
What an exciting and joyful way for this couple to start their future together! May they continue to dance through this life together, growing deeper and deeper in love.
