But when Andrew's father returned to the business after finishing his term, he found everything in disarray. It brought financial ruin to him and his family. Andrew had lived a life of privilege for his entire childhood and now everything had changed. After the death of his father, Andrew turned to drugs and alcohol to cope with his feelings. After being arrested on drug charges, Andrew was forced to face his demons head on. Andrew prayed to God and felt the Lord come into his heart. He started to study scripture while still in jail and become closer to God. Now, Andrew is a husband and a father and he knows that his faith in God will see him through. He hit rock bottom but with God by his side, Andrew foudn the way out. I'm so glad that he's sharing this powerful story with others.

Brent and Audrey Shook are high school sweethearts. And early on in their marriage, the Lord put in their heart the idea of adoption. After the couple married, they had five kids of their own and life started to get busy. But in the back of their hearts they continued to feel the Lord calling them to adopt. They looked at agencies and wanted to start the process but the timing was never right. That's when Brent got an email from an agency they had looked at 10 years before asking if the family would be willing to host a child from China for a summer while they tried to find that child a forever home. When Audrey saw Lucy’s photo, she immediately knew this was their daughter. After lots of prayer, the Shooks decided to submit to God’s will and adopt this sweet little girl even though they knew nothing about her. Lucy was the perfect fit for their family and they knew this was God’s plan. But God still had another part of His plan. Lucy kept talking about her best friend back at the orphanage and the Shooks knew that this adoption story wasn't over. They knew that little Henry was supposed to be their son and Lucy was to bring him to them. So they got the paperwork together and got ready to fly to China to pick up not one, but two new members of their family. Lucy and Henry were unwanted because of her Down Syndrome and his blindness. But God had a plan for them and now these two adorable children are beloved parts of the Shook family. It is truly incredible to see how the Lord can make hearts whole when His followers step out of their comfort zones and listen to His will! God bless this beautiful family.

When Dallen and Molli found out that they were expecting their first child, they knew they wanted to announce the gender is a special way. There have been a lot of fun gener reveals all over the internet, but this one is completely different than any I have seen before. Dallen and Molli are huge Jimmy Fallon fans and one of the games he plays on the show is an egg roulette game. The couple stood in front of 12 eggs. Half of the eggs were dyed blue and the other half were dyed pink. All of the eggs were hardboiled except for one. Whichever egg was still raw, would reveal the gender of the new baby. One by one, Dallen and Molli took turns smashing these eggs on their foreheads. Finally, it came down to one blue egg and one pink egg. The couple each picked one up and smashed it at the exact same time to reveal the best surprise. This was such a cute and fun was to announce their gender and I could tell the whole family was into it. Congratulations to Dallen and Molli!

The talented men of 2CELLOS never cease to amaze me with their music and cello skills. Every single time that they perform, I am in complete awe. It truly takes patience and talent to execute each note so perfectly. Today, these 2 men are performing one of the most iconic songs in recent years 'My Heart Will Go On.' Celine Dion made this song famous when she recorded it for the major motion picture 'Titanic.' Since then, countless artists have covered the tune and put their unique spin on it. 2CELLOS decided to give this special song the cello treatment and it's absolutely amazing. This is the perfect way to compliment this classic song. And I could listen to the sound that they produce over and over again. I'm so glad these men have banded together to perform such amazing and joyful music. With talent like this, I can't wait to see what they do next.

When this small aircraft spotted a helpless animal in the ocean, they knew they needed to step in a help. That's when these brave rescuers landed the plane in the water to reach the poor sea turtle. The turtle was all tangled up in trash and could not swim properly. Thankfully, these men arrived just in the nick of time and scooped the turtle out of the water. They weren't unable to free him on the water, so they had to take the turtle to land where the netting was finally cut off. Then, the rescued creature was walked back to the water and set free again. I was so happy to see him easily swim away! I am so amazed at the hearts of these rescuers to land a plane in the water to save this poor sea turtle. Without their help, there's no doubt this turtle would not have lasted long. This was definitely one of those edge-of-your-seat rescues but I'm so thankful that it all turned out okay. God bless these rescuers!

Teachers truly leave a lasting impact on their students. Many of us can still remember our favorite teacher or the one who taught us the invaluable life lessons. Being a teacher isn't an easy job, but it can definitely be one of the most rewarding. Just ask Donna Hoagland, a 4th grade teacher at Marsh Pointe Elementary in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Donna began to notice a change in one of her students, Troy. Troy's demeanor was different and Donna knew something was going on. When Donna asked his mom, she found out that for the past year, Troy's mother has been battling stage 5 kidney failure. Because of her rare blood type, the odds of her finding a kidney donor were slim. Donna was heartbroken when she learned about Troy's mom, but that's when she realized that they shared the same rare blood type. She spent months researching kidney donation before she was able to give Troy's mother the best news, Donna was a kidney match. This selfless teacher donated her kidney to help save a child's mother and it's absolutely inspiring to hear this story. She truly went above and beyond the call of duty. I'm so glad there are teachers like this in our world!

High school chemistry teacher, Jason Zackowski, lives in Alberta, Canada. Recently, winter temperatures have gotten down to -40C. These frigid temperatures may make for some cold weather, but it also makes for a few mesmerizing moments. Just watch as this teacher forms bubbles on top of the snow. It is so cold that you can see the bubbles visibly freeze. It's incredible to watch as ice crystals slowly form on the exterior, before the bubble pops from the breeze. Recently, this song has been given new life when the country group Rascal Flatts gave it a new twist. Now, the Home Free gentlemen are putting their own spin on this tune and it's one you've got to hear. The music video showcase the group on tour as they drive from city to city having a great time. That is exactly what this song is all about. It's about being on the road and enjoying each moment of life. I think Home Free sure did a great job of relaying that message. And the way these five talented musicians sing together so flawlessly is absolutely remarkable. Miscarriages and infant loss can be one of the most difficult things for someone to go through. It is something that a lot of women go through but do not talk about. Danielle Walker is a mom of two boys and two girls. She always wanted a girl and at the time of her pregnancy, she had already had one boy. She had a lot to look forward to and she was so excited. But while she was preparing for the birth of her first baby girl, she received dreadful news. About halfway thought the pregnancy, Danielle found out that her baby girl had a genetic disorder. The doctors said that she probably would not make it after she was born and unfortunately, Aila passed away just a half hour after birth. It was devastating for the entire family. Even after Danielle welcomed another child, she had a lot of conflicting emotions. Was it wrong for her to be fully happy? When she found out that she was pregnant with another baby girl, she was so excited, but she was unsure how to feel. There were so many emotions going though her head. Thankfully, Danielle was able to process through all of those feelings. She knows she cannot replace her child in heaven, but looks forward to reuniting with her one day. Though they are still healing from losing Aila, her family is thankful for being blessed with another baby girl that they love deeply. I'm so glad that Danielle is sharing her story with the world and I'm praying for all the families that go through this difficult loss.

Calum has a mild form of autism and that inspires him to sing and help others. Today, Calum is showcasing his talents at the local grocery store and it's absolutely amazing. During the winter snow storms, ice is everywhere. It is really easy to fall and hurt yourself. In light of recent weather and accidents, a professional stuntman decided to share how to fall without getting hurt. While some people may think it's funny when you fall down, you can seriously injure yourself on ice, if you are not careful. No matter your age, these tips are important to pay attention to and utilize during the winter season. The natural thing to do is to lean backward and to throw out your arms to break your fall. But this stuntman describes why that is not the best thing to do. Falling like that can result in a serious injury. The trick is to bend your knees, twist your side, and tuck your head. Why is this technique necessary? It helps to prevent a very bad injury like hurting your back or your wrist. Also, you are shortening the distance between the ground and your body. You are also moving delicate parts of your body out the way. These three tips are so helpful. It may seem like a silly thing, but ice injuries are nothing to laugh about!

Renee Piccitto and her sister Lisa were out for a breakfast date when Lisa did something Renee just had to record. Lisa is pregnant with twins, and, like most pregnant women, Lisa loves food. So when Renee took her sister out for breakfast Lisa ordered her favorite pancakes. But these are no ordinary pancakes. These delicious pancakes are a stack with a crunchy topping and bananas smothered in syrup. No wonder these are Lisa's favorite! Apparently, this appetizing dish brought Lisa so much joy that she could not contain her emotions. Tears of joy started streaming down her face with every single bite. At first, Renee didn’t know what to do but after a few bites she knew she had to capture this funny pregnancy moment on camera. And sure enough every bite of these heavenly pancakes brought Lisa to tears. Thankfully, Lisa took it all in stride. Can you imagine how much Lisa’s twins will love watching this precious moment some day when they are older? All moms had a moment like this while they were pregnant and you just have to look back and laugh at all of the things that brought you to tears. 4-year-old Alexander suffered a big loss this year. His baby sister, Ava, passed away when she was just a few months old. Ava developed hydronephrosis, a condition that caused her kidneys to swell due to a back up of urine. Recently, the family watched the Walt Disney movie Coco, which features a special song titled 'Remember Me.' The lyrics talk about missing a lost loved one and how they will always remain in our hearts, even if they cannot physically be with us. This song struck a chord with Alexander and on what would have been Ava's first birthday, he decided to sing this song for her. Just watch as he takes his guitar and walks up to a picture of his baby sister. Alexander had no idea he was being recorded as he sweetly sings to Ava. This precious moment has touched hearts all over the world. There's no doubt that Alexander is an amazing big brother and Ava will always remain in his heart. There's definitely going to be some tears with this one.
