HGTV “Fixer Upper” star Joanna Gaines is back! Taking The Today Show’s Jenna Bush on a tour of the Gaines’ farmhouse, Joanna quickly reminds us how much we miss “Fixer Upper”.
It’s been seven months since the beloved home decor guru stepped out of the spotlight. In that time, Chip and Joanna Gaines have welcomed a new member into their home, baby boy Crew Gaines. The dynamic couple didn’t hang up the towel completely when they stopped filming “Fixer Upper”, instead they turned their focus heavily to their growing family and opened Magnolia Table restaurant in hometown Waco, Texas. Apparently, it was the perfect move for their family and the children are loving having a new sibling.
"They're obsessed with him, and it really is one of those things where I have to fight to hold him," Joanna shared with TODAY.
As Joanna welcomes TODAY host, Jenna Bush, on a tour of her home the vibe is instantly welcoming and comforting. Joanna explained that feeling of comfort is intentional: “This is going to sound so dorky, but it's like a big hug, I just love being home. I feel like everywhere I look there's a story or there's a memory.” Early in her career designing homes for clients, Joanna realized that there is no “perfect” home, instead the space needs to be functional and make others feel welcome.
Each piece in the Gaines’ home tells a little story about their life together. One of their favorite pieces is a vintage street sign that the couple found on their honeymoon and featured right next to it is a giant clock missing it’s time hands.
“This old clock, one of my favorite pieces in the house,” said the mother of five. “I think anytime I'm home with the kids, time kind of stands still. And I feel like just always remember just what a gift time is.”
There is no question that this mother of five has a great outlook on her life with family and balancing a successful career with husband, Chip. Living intentionally, Joanna and Chip Gaines are setting an example for other families on how to have a space you love because you loved the family in the space.
We are loving these videos of celebrities with their children! Award winning artist Alicia Keys posted a video of her son, Egypt, playing the piano while she sings “Lean On Me”. Clearly Egypt has gained from of Mom’s piano-playing abilities and is following in the talented performers footsteps!

There is something truly moving about seeing children enjoying and loving sharing talents with their parents. It reminds us that even when the world seems such a dark place, there are so many opportunities to smile and appreciate God-given abilities. Pair that with some truly adorable kids loving on their parents and we are hooked!
Alicia Keys is known for her unique vocal and piano performances. The classically trained artist took to social media to post the clip of her and Egypt dueting. “Best duet everrrrr!!!!! Love this boy!! He’s so excited about music My bestie!!”
Husband Kasseem Dean is frequently posting “proud dad” clips of their two boys on his social media accounts as well. ““Wow wow wow I’ve been waiting for this moment. The dedication and hard work my wife put into the kids are priceless. Let me find out y’all have a tour coming soon.”

Lauren Daigle is topping charts with her album “Look Up Child”. As both a Top Christian Albums chart topper as well as a Billboard 200, Daigle has quickly found herself a spot as one of the top “crossover” artists thanks to her encouraging music and unique sound.
In this behind-the-scenes look, Daigle takes us through her photo shoot for the album cover of “Look Up Child”. Sharing that she didn’t realize the amount of physical “cardio” effort that went into a photo shoot, Lauren is so down-to-earth and makes the viewer instantly feel a part of her big day. Daigle shared that some of her inspiration for the album was taken from the influences of incredibly talented artists such as Aretha Franklin, Lauren Hill and Roberta Flack.
Daigle’s album has really been an encouragement to a wide range of people. While she is passionate about her music being faith centered, the lyrics offer a powerful message of hope and encouragement to those who may not have a faith walk themselves. Her song “You Say” discusses finding self worth through God’s eyes and not our own. The song has become a heart’s cry for so many in a world that is continually critiquing and comparing.
"You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing
You say I am strong when I think I am weak
You say I am held when I am falling short, and when I don't belong
Oh, you say I am yours, and I believe, oh I believe, what You say of me.”
Imagine being on a cramped flight in route and unexpectedly getting front row seats to a choir concert fit for royalty! That’s what was in store for these passengers when the Kingdom Choir planned a flash mob performance on a British Airways Flight. The choir known for performing at the royal wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry staged this little treat for passengers thanks to the crafty marketing team of British Airways.
Performing the ever-popular 1960’s hit “Stand by Me” by Ben E. King the Kingdom Choir had the other passengers smiling from ear to ear. Their performance started with the walking subtones of their low-note singer mapping out the recognizable beginning bass line of the song. Seconds later from the back of the plane a female voice begins to double the tune along with him. Before the captive audience knows what’s going on a soloist pops out from the flight attendant’s gally singing the melodic lyrics.
Thankfully, all members of this impromptu performance were wearing sweaters/shirts that identified them as Kingdom Choir members, because let’s face it, the last thing British Airways wants are confused panicked passengers who don’t understand flash mobs while flying at 40 thousand feet! The Kingdom Choir was greeted with smiles and the usual smattering of camera phones pointed at them during their performance. There was even a little dancing in the corner! This high flying featurette successfully lifted the hearts of those on board and it’s also safe to say British Airways got the “highest” marks from customers for putting together this little treat.
Dolly Parton fans are always overjoyed to hear her music in the mainstream Hollywood spotlight. “Here I Am” is a re-recording of Dolly’s song from 1971 and features Dolly and singer, Sia. The song is part of a soundtrack for a new Jennifer Aniston film ‘Dumplin’”. The Netflix original movie premieres December 17 and tells the story of a plus-sized Texas teenager (Danielle Macdonald), nicknamed Dumplin’ by her former beauty queen mother (Aniston). Adapted from the book by Julie Murphy, in which one of the characters adores Dolly Parton and her music with an opening line sharing that all the best moments in life “started with a Dolly Parton song.”
Doing what Dolly has always done best, tell a story, the video for “Here I Am” follows several individuals as they receive a helping hand from others. It’s a beautiful reminder to be God’s hands and feet to bless others. The lyrics are simple but poignant.
“Here I am, oh here I am, here I am
If you need a love that's true
Need someone to stand by you
Here I am, oh here I am, here I am
If you need a helping hand, need someone to understand
Here I am, oh here I am, here I am”
Dolly’s soundtrack releasing November 30, will feature six new songs as well as six re-recordings of popular Parton songs such as “Jolene” and “Here You Come Again”. In addition to artist Sia, the soundtrack will include talented musicians such as Miranda Lambert, Alison Krauss, and Elle King. There is even a cameo appearance by Jennifer Aniston herself.
“Every song in the soundtrack is based on an emotion I felt while watching the movie,” Parton said. “I saw the movie and pictured her character going to the movies and how that big screen represents life. I pictured her without her Aunt Lucy, thinking about her dreams and her tears … I thought it would be a sweet little thing to write about.”
In true Dolly fashion, we are sure this soundtrack will be a bit hit!
From his new album “Si”, Andrea Bocelli performs a stunning version of “If Only”. Featuring popular singer Dua Lipa in this touching duet. The album is an all-star collaboration with artists such as Josh Groban, Ed Sheeran, and Bocelli’s son, Matteo.
As the first official single released from his newest album, Andrea Bocelli is proving that even after a 14 year hiatus from releasing an album, he still is a powerhouse vocalist. Though he was still performing and collaborating with other artists during this time, fans were definitely ready for a Bocelli album release. “If Only” beautifully alternates from Italian to English between the verse and chorus and between Bocelli and talented performer, Dua Lipa. The song includes talented pianist (and writer) Mauro Malavasi and violinist Anastasia Petryshak. Pulling their talents together for “If Only” was the perfect blend and the results are breathtaking.
“If only we could turn back time
Back to the day we said goodbye
Maybe your heart would still be mine
My love, if only”
When asked about the inspiration behind the album, Bocelli shared, ““I wanted to go back to my memories of being a young man, playing at a piano bar. Obviously since then, I’ve produced lots of albums, sung lots of covers, performed many other things. But at a certain point I said to myself: ‘Maybe the time has come to put my effort into finding new songs.’ Like starting all over again, as it were, in my career.”
He may not be starting over per se, but Andrea Bocelli is quickly taking the internet by storm and has captured the attention of a whole new generation of music lovers! We think Bocelli may have struck gold with this newest album featuring so many beloved artists and truly moving music.

Comedian Carlos Davis and his brother were getting gas when they noticed a woman paying for gas with pennies. Without a second thought, Davis pulled cash out of his pocket to offer the woman. He didn’t know how his act of kindness would truly touch her. There is no doubt that God placed these men at this gas station for just this moment!
When Davis walks up to the woman, they explain that they are comedians and the money isn’t a trick. They just wanted to help the woman who obviously was down on her luck.
“My husband just died a week ago, we weren’t like this,” the woman admits and explains she wasn’t asking for money.
This is when the young men begin to break down themselves. Clearly shocked by her response, they put their arms around her “You’re alright, you don’t gotta cry.” As they wipe away their own tears the men continue to try and comfort the woman.
The brothers offer her encouragement as they hand her the money. “We got love for you. That’s for you.” “We’ve gotta take care of each other”
The men continue to be just as overwhelmed at the woman’s response as she is to their loving gesture. The entire video they are seen wiping tears from their own eyes as they try to lift her up in what is clearly a hard time.
“God bless you! How do I repay you?” the woman exclaims. Davis’ brother responds “Pay it forward.”
“There’s so much negativity in the news these days. Here’s a much needed reminder that people are good and that we can all live together with love and respect.” the original poster, Simran Jeet Singh posted to social media.
As a frequent poster to social media, the comedian is often filmed. While we hope this wasn’t filmed to further his own popularity, we are truly overjoyed to be able to view this touching moment and take time to pray for the woman in the video!
After a childhood accident left her disfigured, Gemma Swift faced years of bullying. After a local television show learned of Gemma’s story and saw the online bullying she was enduring, they decided to offer her a full dental makeover.
When Gemma was about 6 years old, as many children do, she was walking backwards on her way to school. As she turned around, she hit a lamppost head on and damaged her mouth and teeth. Because of the relentless bullying of her schoolmates, Gemma ended up leaving school at age fourteen to be homeschooled. She had learned to hide from others to avoid being ridiculed for her appearance. When Gemma began being attacked online through social media it caught the attention of The Jeremy Kyle Show.
“It felt like I just wanted to break down” Gemma shared about her feelings facing the online attacks.
After a lifetime of being made fun of for her looks, Gemma was emotionally broken and making poor life decisions. She truly was in need of a “hand up”. The television show contacted Gemma and what she thought was a simple interview about bullying ended up being a surprise dental makeover. The production team connected Gemma with a dental specialist who was able to completely transform her mouth. The results were truly stunning. But what really touched us was how Gemma’s confidence grew and her perspective on life changed.
“Thank you so much, you’ve changed my life… I can look in the mirror and everything now!”
Unfortunately there are still some on social media that are writing cruel things about Gemma. We are given an opportunity to be a blessing in other’s lives and their appearance does not always reflect their heart. As Christians, may we always take the opportunity to love others no matter what the outward appearance may be. We need to come together to teach our children how to be kind and supportive of their peers. How heart broken God must be when He sees the hatred that is poured out. We pray that Gemma continues to love her new smile and that she will grow in confidence and be surrounded by those who will love and support her no matter what!
Comedian John Crist took to the Glenn Beck show to talk about how he chooses his material and his faith-based childhood. When Hollywood encouraged Crist to be less “Christian” he knew it wasn’t the right move for him.
"My dad was a pastor for 30 years and then he became the mayor, and I'm a comedian," Crist explained. "[My dad] said, 'we're all kind of doing the same thing … we look at the world and we don't like what's happening.' So he first tried to change people's hearts in church. And then he tried to fix it by changing laws. And I'm doing the same thing … I'm trying to fix it by changing people's minds … because comedy, it breaks down the walls."
But the comedian is quick to point out that he’s not making fun of Christians, instead, he’s writing about his own community and deliberately pointing out funny quirks. Crist’s exaggerated church culture references aren’t meant to be malicious. He is just writing about what he knows and having a little fun in the process.
“I feel like if there is any ribbing or maybe roasting of the church or Christian culture, I like to say it’s not me pointing at you guys, it’s me shining a mirror at us. I’m in the front of it, look at us,” Crist explained.
We are loving Crist’s videos because they truly do take the silliest of our church behavior and allow us to laugh together at ourselves. And if we’re honest, his jokes are truly spot on, because he’s writing about a culture that is near and dear to him.
“I grew up in church, I grew up in the South, my dad’s a pastor, I was homeschooled one of 8 kids...these are areas where… I’ve lived that life… if you’re gonna be a great comic [stick to what you know]”
During the interview Crist talks about how his comedy shows offer 90-minutes for fans to sit and laugh and not necessarily have to think about all the difficult things in their lives or the surrounding world. It’s an opportunity to allow laughter to truly be the medicine to our weary souls! Crist is selling out his shows in every city, clearly being less “Christian” would have been a true mistake! We hope he continues to help us laugh at ourselves!
Usually it’s very difficult to get something past our sharp-witted officers of the law. This Sheriff Deputy gets a life changing surprise during what she thinks is a routine stop that has her boyfriend behind the wheel.
Christy Odum has been a deputy for over 14yrs in Denver’s Douglas County. She was approached by the local news station to participate in a ride along for what she thought was a feature piece on women in law enforcement. Christy’s family is very unique in that her mom and both sisters are also in law enforcement. Little did she know her boyfriend had an elaborate plan already in motion.
As the news crew recorded and interviewed Odum during the ride along, a call came in about a disabled vehicle. That vehicle was a rental car that included Deputy Odum’s boyfriend pretending to be a stranded driver. That’s when he surprised her as she approached the car. It’s our understanding that surprising any law enforcement officer during a traffic stop is usually not the best idea, but thankfully Odum’s boyfriend was instantly recognized as he got out of his car and explain the real reason he was there.
Grinning ear to ear, Odum still looked shocked at first, asking him “What are you doing here?,” but she quickly caught on to his well executed plan when he started down on one knee. With news cameras rolling to catch the moment, the not-so-stranded driver assumed the position, pulled out the lovely ring, and proposed to the love of his life. Thanks to a great cover story, the sneaky use of an unrecognizable rental car, and the help of the local news team, Deputy Odum got the surprise stop of a lifetime. We wish them both a long and happy marriage full of equally fun surprises.
We just love seeing famous parents sing with their talented kids. Andrea and Matteo Bocelli took the internet by storm with their duet, Fall on Me. And now pop star Pink just warmed our hearts by singing with her daughter, Willow Sage. The duo, aged 39 and 7 years old, made a heartwarming video while performing a song from the hit musical, The Greatest Showman.
The two are among an all-star lineup of celebrities lending their voices to the new album, "The Greatest Showman — Reimagined." The original musical film was released in 2017 and starred Hugh Jackman and Michelle Williams. It told the story behind how showman P.T. Barnum created the Barnum & Bailey Circus, and the music in the film because an instant classic.
In this behind-the-scenes video, young Willow sings her little heart out while proud mama, Pink, looks on encouragingly! Then Pink joins in and her strong, soaring vocals are just perfect for the epic ballad, “A Million Miles.” After Willow finishes her part, her happy mom flashes her the double thumbs up sign.
The sweet mother-daughter duo are in really good company on the new album, which also features Pentatonix, Sara Bareilles, Kelly Clarkson, and the Zac Brown Band.

Andrea Bocelli and son Matteo have been in the spotlight quite a lot with their new duet “Fall On Me”. The song is from Bocelli’s new album “Si” and is featured in Disney’s “Nutcracker and the Four Realms”.
“Si” is Andrea’s first album in fourteen years and his fans have been eagerly awaiting. The cherry on top has been his duet with youngest son, Matteo. Now Andrea and Matteo are discussing what it’s like to work together as father and son
“It’s very meaningful to me because it talks about the beautiful relation that I have with my father, and about the relation that many sons [have] with their parents.” shares Matteo.
“Until two years ago, I didn’t know that Matteo sang. Because he stayed at the piano, he knows music just for this… And one time his mother came to me and said, 'Have you heard Matteo sing?' And I said no. And she said, 'Try to listen to him because he's very nice,'" Andrea told CBS Gayle King.
Andrea lost his sight as a young boy in a fútbol accident (soccer). But he never lost his passion for living life to the fullest, including riding horses. While it may make his family nervous, they know that if he truly loves something they cannot stop him.
This zest for life seems to carry over to his music and performances as well as the way he loves his family. There is no doubt that Andrea is completely smitten with his children. We love watching the interaction between father and son. As he is helping Matteo navigate a musical career, Andrea shares that he believes musical success like his own is safer earned later in life and is “better for the soul because success is very dangerous”. When asked what he wants to see happen with his own life, 21-year-old Matteo quickly responds,“My dream is to achieve the success of my Dad”. If Matteo continues to work hard and learn from his talented father, we think that just might be possible!
