Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban We Will Meet Once Again (Audio)

Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban have teamed up once again to collaborate on “We Will Meet Once Again” for Bocelli’s newest album “Si” and Groban’s album “Bridges”. These powerhouse vocalists are the perfect pairing for such a beautiful piece of music. Twenty years ago, Josh Groban’s career took flight in part thanks to Andrea Bocelli. Talk about a divine appointment and being in the right place at the right time. We’ll let Groban tell what happened. “A duet almost 20 years in the making. I owe so much to an early opportunity I had, I was 17 and in high school and asked to be a stand in singer for Andrea Bocelli when he was stuck on a plane for the Grammys rehearsals. (Longer story how THAT even happened). A terrified, pimple faced and blissfully naive kid sang his heart out that afternoon and the rest is history. Meeting him backstage when he finally arrived I just thought “how cool is this? What a world this is.” He went on to do the telecast and I went back to history class at LACHSA (who were so understanding and supportive). I didn’t have an inkling where my life would take me after that. The bridges left to cross. This song, aptly titled We Will Meet Once Again, is one of my favorites I’ve ever co-written and recorded. It has so much meaning to me. Last night in the stunning setting of Portovenere we sang it for an audience for the first time. Here’s to more full circle surprises. They don’t come easy or often, but they sure are fun. Hope you enjoy. Grazie.” This duet is beautifully performed by Bocelli and Groban. For Bocelli’s album the entire piece is sung in Italian while Groban's album has some of the music sung in English. Both versions are perfectly supported by the ever talented musicians of the London Studio Orchestra. We love hearing their voices working together and hope for many more collaborations in the future! Man with Disabilities Pushes Scooter with His Hands to Share the Gospel

This man with disabilities pushes scooter with his hands to move village to village sharing the Gospel. Pastor José had a radio show that was his only method of reaching these remote towns, hours away in the mountains of northwest Mexico. Eusebia heard about Jesus through Pastor Josés radio show. [She] was one of the first people in her village to become a believer in Jesus Christ. “I have experienced personally the Gospel,” she said. “I believe that God is good and that He has brought me salvation. There is no other way to find salvation without Jesus.” Over the years, the believers in the village grew to four. The number has been increasing dramatically since Pastor José handed out Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts at a Gospel outreach event nearly two years ago. Eusebia’s 11-year-old grandson, Jonathan, was one of several children who prayed to receive Jesus Christ during the Operation Christmas Child Gospel presentation. “At first I thought that Jesus was speaking only to the adults, but I learned that Jesus loves children, too,” Jonathan said. “I learned to pray to Him. I like to pray.” There are no established churches in La Laguna, but Pastor José hopes that Eusebia’s Bible study is the beginning of a congregation that will continue for generations. “The children and their faith are going to be like a greenhouse,” he said. “They are the future of the church because they are learning about God, receiving Him, and they are telling their parents about Him.” Without a car of his own, Pastor José relies on fellow church members in Tecuala who drive him to the village every few weeks. When he was just 2, José began to exhibit signs of polio, which inhibited muscle development in his legs. He gets around with a scooter he pushes with his hand. “For most of my life, I’ve used this scooter as my feet,” he said. “I could use a wheelchair, but it would be more difficult for me to move around in it.” Pastor José’s goal is to reach people in more mountain villages with the Gospel through Operation Christmas Child. “I’m still looking for new places to share the Word so every kid can learn about God,” he said. “We have a mission on the mountains that started with La Laguna. As people are accepting God and sharing His Word, the message is spreading.” Thank God for this man’s dedication to sharing the Gospel with others! For the past 25 years, Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse, has partnered with local churches in more than 100 countries to distribute gifts to boys and girls in need and tell them about God’s Greatest Gift—Jesus Christ.

Kindergarten Class Signs 'Happy Birthday' Song For Deaf Custodian

What a precious moment! Hickerson Elementary custodian, James Anthony, got the surprise of a lifetime when the Kindergarten students sign a special message to him. The young kindergarten classes knew that they wanted to surprise their favorite school helper, custodian “Mr. James” for his 60th birthday. He’s a fixture in this Tennessee school and has been working there for 15 years and in the district for 30 years. Anthony may be deaf but that hasn’t stopped him from setting an example for the kids and making friends. Mr. James is known for stopping to teach the children sign language. He gladly sets the example as he teaches them about good manners and being kind to one other. With the help of teachers Mrs. Allyssa Hartsfield and Mrs. Amy Hershman, these eager kindergarteners learned how to sign “Happy Birthday” so that they could sing to Mr. James and be a part of his celebration. The video taken by the school nurse, Angela Ridner, shows Mr. James walking into a room full of very excited students. As they began to sing and sign “Happy Birthday”, he was completely stunned. Putting his hands up to his head and begins to laugh in celebration, Mr. James showed that he was completely wowed by their special gift! We’re so glad that Hickerson Elementary shared this heartwarming video! What a bright spot in our day to see these wonderful children working so hard to be a blessing to someone else. Reading the comments on social media shows how much of an impact Mr. James has had on the children that have passed through his halls over the years. “He was my basketball coach one year! Always a happy man! Such a joy to be around!” shares Paige York. Lexie Davis wrote: “This just made my heart smile so big. Mr. James will always hold a special place in my childhood memories! He has such a big heart 💓” There is no doubt that Mr. James has touched many lives and is truly a mentor to these children. Well done, and Happy Birthday!

Veteran Thief Shares How to Avoid Getting Mugged

This incarcerated veteran thief gives suggestions on how to stay safe and avoid getting mugged. With the use of social media and built in video capabilities on our phones, people are becoming more aware of the number of muggings that are occurring throughout the country. The hope would be that the uptick in reports would encourage others to be more vigilant while out and about. But what should we be looking for exactly? “Dark alleyways” are no longer the location of choice, now the muggings are happening in broad daylight! TODAY Show correspondent Jeff Rossen takes us into a correctional facility to hear from veteran thief, David Solano. He’s admitted to mugging over 100 people, and is now serving a 25+ year sentence. David now hopes to help others learn how to avoid being a victim and shares his knowledge on what to look for and how to stay safe. “This is my way of repenting, you know? My way of giving back to society. My way of telling everybody, ‘I’m sorry’. Who knows, I might save a life and that would be a great thing.” Solano shares that an easy target is a distracted one. Something as simple as stopping to share the time or give directions can leave you at risk. Instead, give the information while continuing to walk or while maintaining a distance from the inquirer. He goes on to share that the common targets are those who are alone and seem vulnerable, often the elderly. David shares, “It’s insane. It’s crazy because um, while you’re in under the influence and you’re in that life, you have no remorse. You have no feelings.” Unexpectedly, David shared that he often had targeted MEN because the women, while more vulnerable, were often more willing to make noise. One would-be victim was carrying a whistle which David noted was a great deterrent. He goes on to share that the best method of protection was a small can of Mace (personal defense pepper spray). But this is only good if you remember: “You need to have that Mace in your hand, not in your purse. The Mace is not going to deter me while it’s in your purse, it’s gonna deter me while it’s in your hand, while you’re spraying at me.” NEVER physically fight a mugger. David shares that fighting back could result in making the mugger angry which could escalate the situation. Unless you’ve been trained in defensive fighting, it’s too dangerous. “Give it up, It can be replaced, you’re more valuable than anything.” But where do most muggers strike? This might come as a surprise, but David shared that your DRIVEWAY is the place you are most vulnerable. Make sure to check your surroundings before getting out of your car to enter your house. In the city, the most risk comes while standing on the subway platform where you might be distracted, looking at your phone or standing off by yourself. Instead, find a crowd of people near the center of the platform to stand near. Being in a crowd makes you much less of a target. It’s unfortunate to need to think about these situations but we are so grateful to David for sharing his tips. We hope that you will share these with your friends and family. Remember to be aware, stay in crowds, and make noise if you feel threatened.

Weather Forecaster Hilariously Reacts in Viral News Blooper

Meteorologist Lisa Hidalgo never expected her work day to go like this one! The weather forecaster was happily presenting her segment when the camera fell and focused on the ground! Her reaction was one of the funniest things we’ve seen on a morning television broadcast! As Denver meteorologist Lisa Hidalgo began giving her morning weather report, all seemed “business as usual”. She adeptly points out the snowfall totals in the local areas before the unthinkable happen during her live broadcast segment. As the screen behind her changes to a beautiful snow scene – rolling white hills and snow flocked evergreens – the camera focus unexpectedly takes a nosedive and settles to a live shot of the studio floor. “Look at this beautiful shot this afternoon… WOW!” she exclaims. Upon realizing the camera has fallen to feature her feet and cue box, Hidalgo thinks fast on her feet and shows off her hidden dancing skills! With a “kick-ball-change” here and there and a corny “yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah” for accompaniment, she keeps the viewer’s attention while trying to figure out what to do. That’s when the very talented Lisa chooses to do something completely unexpected. She bends down onto her hands and feet crawling into the camera frame to finish her weather report! Giving the last few weather notes while on her knees, you can hear the crew in the background having a good laugh as Lisa also chuckles her way through this hysterical experience! “Alright you have a good one!” she says and then hilariously crawls out of the frame! We bet she won’t forget that office experience any time soon!

Upperroom Leads Live Worship 'Surrounded (Fight My Battles)'

“Surrounded (fight My Battles)” reminds us that even in the midst of trials, we are truly surrounded by God. The worship song was written by Elyssa Smith of Texas-based Upperroom. “There's a table that You’ve prepared for me In the presence of my enemies It's Your body and Your blood You shed for me This is how I fight my battles” When we feel completely overwhelmed by life’s battles there is something truly peaceful in knowing that the Father has gone before us and that the victory is already His. That doesn’t mean there aren’t times that we don’t feel like we are sitting in the middle of the “lion’s den” but we have comfort in the promise that we are not alone – God is with us! “In the valley I know that You're with me And surely Your goodness and Your mercy follow me So my weapons are praise and thanksgiving This is how I fight my battles” It’s so easy to be caught up in the fear, worry, and frustration of the situations around it. Feeling overwhelmed and helpless has affected each and every one of us at some point. We need to remind ourselves of God’s promises that He goes before us; when our eyes are on Him, the battle is already won! Allow God to orchestrate your path and guide you. Ultimately He wants us to live a life without fear and worry! Psalm 139:5: "You have surrounded me on every side, behind me and before me, and You have placed Your hand gently on my shoulder."

Humdingers Barbershop Quartet Sing Unique Medley Of Disney Songs

Calling all lovers of Disney music! You’ll want to listen to the Humdingers Barbershop Quartet as they sing a unique medley of beloved Disney songs. These harmonizers Performed live during the Saturday Night Spectacular for the 2018 Barbershop Harmony Society International Convention. The dapper gents were dressed up in traditional looking barbershopper costumes, complete with colorful vests and boater hats right down to the white spats over their shoes. Most notably seen, and most non-traditional for this style of music, are the unique looking instruments they each were utilizing during the performance. Each member of the quartet held one in each hand and the sound would ring out as they shook them much like a handbell! Of course, we had to know what these mysterious looking instruments were! They are called “Deagan Organ Chimes” and look similar to cut-down organ pipes mounted on a board of wood. The sound is produced when the instrument player shakes the chime. It reminded us a little bit of the sound of a steel drum or a marimba (similar to a xylophone). Those most familiar with barbershop quartet competitions will know instruments other than voices are not traditionally used, so this added a fun and unique experience to their performance. The playful medley of popular Disney tunes had a very recognizable line up. Songs featured included everything from “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah” and “Whistle While You Work” to “It’s a Small World” and the Mickey Mouse Club theme song. Some comical choreography coupled with a little tap number round out this creatively performed toe tapping routine. Thanks to these catchy classics, which of these Disney tunes will get stuck in your head today?

Keith Urban Sings to Fan in Her Hospital Room When She Can't Make Concert

Keith Urban surprised his "number one" fan, Marissa English, at a hospital in Ohio last week before his concert there. Keith is no stranger to treating his fans well and seems to love to brighten their day with a wonderful surprise. Keith sang ‘Amazing Grace’ with his wife, Nicole Kidman when they were visiting a hospital a few years back. He’s also known for pulling a fan on stage with him to play guitar with him when he noticed the man’s sign. Marissa had tickets for Urban's show in Toledo, but wasn’t going to be able to go due to her declining health. Marissa, 25, was born with a several health conditions, including cerebral palsy, severe scoliosis, and a cyst on her brain. Andrea Bocelli and Son Live Performance on Dancing With The Stars

Andrea Bocelli and son, Matteo, are at it again with another stunning live performance on Dancing with the Stars! We love watching this father-son duo realizing their musical dreams together. As part of the Disney-themed evening on DWTS, the song was a perfect choice as part of the evening’s line up. With their backs to each other, each seated at a beautiful grand piano, the pair begin playing their hit song “Fall on Me” featured in Disney’s ‘Nutcracker and the Four Realms”. Beginning with Matteo singing the verse in English, Andrea follows singing in Italian. Their stunning vocals compliment each other and it’s clear that they truly love performing together. There is something truly moving about seeing Matteo look over to his shoulder to watch his father sing. While the duo performs their new hit, professional dancers take the floor in a stunning choreographed couples dance. With sweeping turns and dips, they bring the emotion of this beautiful song to life! Hanging chandeliers, lit in a champagne pink to match the women’s dresses, add to the elegance of the performance. The Disney film “Nutcracker and the Four Realms” opens in theatres November 1. It gives a new twist on the classic Christmas ballet story that so many have come to enjoy as part of their holiday traditions. In Disney’s film, Clara is given a key by her godfather, Drosselmeyer, to a sealed box containing a gift from her recently deceased mother. But the key falls into a parallel world containing the Land of Sweets, Snowflakes, Flowers, and the Fourth Realm. Clara must travel through them and defeat tyrant Mother Ginger to find her beloved treasure. This stunning duet is part of Bocelli’s newest album,“Si”. The album also features Matteo’s half-brother Amos, who is an exceptionally talented pianist as well. What a beautiful gift to be able to share their talents with the world as such a stunning collaboration!

Heartbroken Couple Shares Stillbirth Story to Inspire Others

This is a heartbreaking video, but it's a must-see. So grab some tissues, and make sure you watch all the way to the end for an amazing show of God's love in the midst of tragedy! When the couple Katelyn and Michael Alsop went in for their 20-week ultrasound, they were eager to see their growing baby and find out the sex. Michael played with their toddler in the examining room. Katelyn filmed the daddy-daughter antics as the family giggled in anticipation. This video would show the last happy, carefree moment the family would share before world as they knew it was wrecked. The ultrasound technician stepped away to grab the doctor for the results but seemed to be gone for an unusually long time--so long that Katelyn began to worry. Michael assured her that the doctor was probably just held up. But when then their doctor entered the room “and basically shattered so many of our dreams within just a few minutes. The words that haunt me are, ‘I'm concerned, your baby is very sick'," said Katelyn. In that moment their world completely changed. Now the couple is sharing their stillbirth story in hopes that it will inspire others who may be facing unexpected battles in their life. “The Story of James Michael” is a video project that shares the emotional journey that impacted this family’s faith in an overwhelming way. Doctors thought the baby would survive 3-4 weeks. The couple named their baby James, but Katelyn would continue to carry him for another 11 weeks, all the while knowing he would never take a breath once she delivered him. Michael shared, “we kept saying, and we would say it almost every night as we were praying . . . 'God we’re gonna love him while we have him.'” When baby James was born, the family were surrounded by close friends, including a friend who agreed to photograph their short time together in the delivery room. Doctors had prepared them that due to the swelling they might not get to even see James’ face. But Katelyn’s prayer was answered. “Jesus, just let us see his face. Please just let us see his little face.” Due to baby James’ positioning in the womb, his face didn’t swell as expected and they were able to experience the beauty of seeing their son that they had prayed so fervently for. Katelyn points to James 1:2-4 on her Katelyn James Photography blog: “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” “It’s hard to understand a verse like that in the midst of normal life. Little trials that are annoying and frustrating seem pointless…. but when you experience tragedy, it almost seems easier to realize that God has a purpose in it, because there is no other explanation. There isn’t any other type of hope that can come from losing a child. After experiencing a stillbirth and the journey that we just walked through with James, I can honestly say that we have never known the Lord more intimately.” For Katelyn and Michael, this hard journey has had extreme ups and downs but drew them closer to their faith. They knew that God had a plan and are excited to help encourage others with their story. Watch and be inspired by this godly couple's incredible faith. Again, make sure you watch all the way through to the end because the last moment of this video shows how this faithful family truly puts their trust in Jesus. This is one surprise in the midst of a dark season that will leave you in tears! We lift up this family in our prayers and hope that they will continue to see God’s hand in their life as they enter this new season in their lives!

The album is particularly special to Turner as his wife and boys are performing with him in some of the albums songs. “Doin’ a gospel record has always been on my list of things to do. I grew up in a Christian home, so I grew up readin’ the Bible.” In the album, the song “The River (of Happiness)” was written by Turner’s wife, Jennifer, and oldest son, Hampton. The pair teamed up with the rest of the Turner boys to sing along with Josh. It was a true family project and what a great way to involve his kids and wife! “The songs that make up this record are all songs that really mean something to me. Jason Elliana's Foxtrot - DWTS Juniors - 'You've Got A Friend In Me'

Jason and Elliana from Dancing with the Stars: Juniors are back in a big way with an adorable Disney themed foxtrot to “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” (Toy Story). Dancing with the Stars: Juniors might be one of our favorite shows. We love seeing couples like Jason and Elliana enjoying their time on the dance floor! This adorable foxtrot is no exception. The duo start out on stage sitting in an oversized chair like Andy’s dolls, Woody and Jessie, from Disney/Pixar film, ‘Toy Story’. When the coast is clear, the “dolls” come to life and being their dance. These two couldn’t be more perfect for this piece, both bring such a joy to the stage with their dancing! Elliana graced the stage with her beautiful leg extension, pirouette turns and perfectly-timed arabesque. She’s such a talented dancer and a perfect partner for actor Jason Maybaum’s huge personality! From the moment they stepped out on the dance floor, it was clear that they were going to ham up their performance just like the Toy Story characters would have! “You've got a friend in me, You've got a friend in me You've got troubles, and I've got 'em too There isn't anything I wouldn't do for you We stick together and we see it through 'Cause you've got a friend in me, You've got a friend in me” The two looked to have such a good time performing this fun cowboy/cowgirl dance number. We hope they will be friends for a long time after the show has completed!
