Long-Lost Cat Reunites With Family After Camp Fire

A long-lost cat was finally reunited with her family after she went missing during the devastating Camp Fire. Courtney Werblow's family home was destroyed when deadly fires ran through Northern California. When the flames started to approach the house, Courtney’s cat, Timber, fled. That’s when the family was also forced to evacuate without their beloved feline. After being gone for over a month, The Werblows feared that Timber was gone forever. It’s been weeks since the family has been to their home site, but today they are being escorted back to see if anything remains. As soon as they arrived, Courtney saw the most amazing sight in the distance. Timber was alive and well and running right towards her. Thankfully, this heartwarming reunion was all caught on camera and it’s truly touching to witness. Even though this family may have lost some of their earthly possessions, their sweetest companion was able to survive. That is truly something to rejoice about. We all love our animals and the special joy that they bring into our lives. There’s no doubt in my mind that God knew exactly what He was doing when He placed cats on this earth. Our pets give us companionship and unconditional love and I think that is exactly what The Werblow family needs right now. Courtney and her cat definitely share a very special bond and it warms my heart to see them together right now. Do you have fur babies at home that love and comfort you like this?

Young Crooner Sings Frank Sinatra's 'Fly Me To The Moon'

Eros Atomus Isler put his own spin on the Frank Sinatra classic ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ during The Voice Germany finals. This young man has been impressing the judges week after week on the singing competition as part of Team Michi and Smudo. When it came time for the finale, Isler decided to take a risk and belt out the lyrics of this beloved classic. ‘Fly me to the moon Let me play among the stars Let me see what spring is like on A-Jupiter and Mars In other words, hold my hand In other words, baby, kiss me’ Decades after his death, Frank Sinatra continues to be one of the most recognized jazz musician names in the world. The blue-eyed crooner grabbed hearts in America and later internationally through both a successful vocal career and fame in Hollywood. Over the years, many artists have covered the songs that Sinatra made famous. However, this beloved musician’s fan base is very loyal, so singing a Sinatra song is always a risky choice for a performer. After seeing Eros’ performance, I think it’s safe to say that he did this classic justice. It’s never easy to emulate such an iconic artist, but this young man gave it all he had and the response was overwhelming. Even if he doesn’t win, Eros Atomus Isler has put his heart and soul into this competition and I don’t think we’ve seen the last of him. Who else was impressed by this young crooner’s Frank Sinatra cover?

Woman Rescues Stray Dog After 3 Years Of Trying

After spending 3 years trying to rescue a stray dog, this kind woman finally succeeded. Kristine Mills Munir was walking her own dog in a canyon in Northern California when she spotted a ‘gigantic creature.’ After she got a closer look, she realized it was actually an abandoned English Mastiff. From that moment on, Kristine would leave food for the stray dog every morning and every evening. This went on for three years. During this time, Kristine tried everything she could to rescue the dog but, “She was just too smart. She just did not want to be captured.” She told everyone she met about the impossible dog, that she named Lulu, until finally a friend introduced her to Matthew Daughters. Daughters has years of experience rescuing dogs and as soon as he spotted Lulu he said, “I’m getting this dog if it’s the last thing I do.” And that’s exactly what happened. After endless mornings of feeding Lulu and letting her learn to trust him, Matthew was finally able to rescue the English Mastiff. Once she learned that Kristine and Matthew were friends, Lulu’s demeanor completely changed. “She was completely willing to receive our love and affection. She ate it up, really,” Kristine said. Now, this deserving dog is getting her forever home and it’s absolutely heartwarming. It's always a special day when a dog gets their lifelong family and it’s obvious that Lulu is overwhelmed with love. I’m sure she’s going to be so happy with her new friends and family.

109-Year-Old Grandma Virginia Sings to Harlem Globetrotters

When the Harlem Globetrotters came to town, 109-year-old ‘Grandma Virginia’ was there to make them smile. Virginia McLaurin is known worldwide for her infectious dance moves and adolescent spirit. We first met this inspiring granny in 2016 when she met then President Barack Obama and the first lady Michelle Obama. It had been a long life wish of McLaurin’s and a social media campaign granted her the big opportunity. When she finally got her chance to meet the president, she just had to show off her excitement through some dance moves. At 106 years old, the video of her booging down in the White House became a viral sensation. Now, she’s back and she’s showing off that dazzling personality again. McLaurin used to volunteer at a Washington D.C. school where the Harlem Globetrotters were performing. Grandma Virginia knew she wanted to meet these talented gentlemen in person and that’s exactly what happened. Clad in a team jersey, Grandma Virginia and two of the men sang the sweetest song together. I think this special moment meant just as much to the basketball players as it did to this inspiring granny. As the years go by, it seems that McLaurin is getting livelier and livelier. Some of these moments are things that she never thought she would get the opportunity to witness or be a part of. This just goes to show that age is simply a state of a mind. Who else hopes they are like Grandma Virginia when they grow up?

Stranger In First Class Gives Up Seat To Woman With Sick Child

When this kind stranger in first class gave up his seat to a woman with a sick child, it went viral. Kelsey Zwick was stunned when a flight attendant on her American Airlines flight came up to her and said that there was a man in first class who wanted to switch seats. Zwick was traveling from Florida to Philadelphia with her 11-month-old daughter, Lucy, for an appointment at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Lucy uses an oxygen machine and this mom had to carry all of their bags plus the machine through the airport. Jason Kunselman was the gracious stranger and when he spotted the young mother, he thought she would be more comfortable in first class. After switching seats, Zwick wasn’t able to thank Kunselman properly, so she took to social media to share the story. “I cried my way up the aisle while my daughter Lucy laughed! She felt it in her bones too... real, pure, goodness. I smiled and thanked you as we switched but didn’t get to thank you properly. Sooo... thank you. Not just for the seat itself but for noticing. For seeing us and realizing that maybe things are not always easy. For deciding you wanted to show a random act of kindness to US. It reminded me how much good there is in this world.” The post immediately went viral and the airline helped to reconnect the two strangers. Zwick was able give this kind man a heartfelt ‘thank you’ and promised to keep the chain of kindness going.

The 27-year-old Wisconsin native made a splash with during his blind audition of Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Pride and Joy." Ultimately, this country crooner joined Team Blake and he’s been knocking out the competition for weeks. Along the way, he’s given us memorable performances such as his cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Have You Ever Seen The Rain?" and The Beatles’ “Let It Be.” But today’s performance may have just put him over the top. It’s been nearly 40 years since Lynyrd Skynyrd first released ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ but it still remains a country favorite by millions. You can’t mistake that opening beat and iconic first line. ‘Sweet home Alabama Where the skies are so blue Sweet home Alabama Lord, I'm coming home to you’ Kroeze confidently stepped on stage with his guitar and put his own spin on this classic. Back by a talented band, Chris was able to showcase his skilled vocal range and powerful stage presence. As the crowd waved red, white and blue glow sticks, Kroeze seemed right at home in the spotlight. This family man has truly come a long way on his journey to the finals and it’s obvious that all his hard work is paying off. 'Love Me To Death' - Music Video From Kathie Lee Gifford

In 2015, Kathie Lee Gifford lost her husband, Frank Gifford, after 29 years of marriage. It was a Sunday morning and Kathie Lee found him on the floor of the home that they shared together. Since that time, the popular morning show host has always been open about her loss and how she continues to heal each day. As she worked through her grief, she was inspired to write a movie, loosely based on her life, titled ‘Love Me To Death.’ The film focuses on a widowed woman who learns to live and love again. While working on the screenplay, God put words on Kathie Lee’s heart and the theme song to the film was created. Also titled ‘Love Me To Death,’ this heartfelt song speaks to anyone who has lost a significant other. ‘What a way to go What a way to die If just once in my life I get to feel this alive with you So good and tender In that sweet moment of surrender When I close my eyes And held my very breath And let you love me to death’ Kathie Lee teamed up with Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter Brett James to complete the song and the duet that followed is absolutely stunning. Each and every single note is full of hope and truth. Kathie Lee is such a strong woman and she is truly an inspiration to us all. Thank you for having the courage to share your story and continue to work each day to turn your grief into triumph.

Gospel Singer Trey McLaughlin And Choir 'I Shall Wear A Crown'

Talented Christian artist Trey McLaughlin teaches a group of students at the University of St. Thomas his arrangement of ‘I Shall Wear A Crown.’ Ever since he was little, Trey has had a passion for singing and performing. He lent his voice to school and church choirs and he even put together an inspiring gospel group called Trey McLaughlin & the Sounds Of Zamar. Today, Trey is taking time to teach a class this uplifting praise song and it’s absolutely incredible. ‘I shall wear a crown I shall wear a crown When the trumpet sounds When the trumpet sounds I'm gonna wear a crown I shall wear a crown I shall wear a robe and crown’ Thomas Whitfield originally wrote ‘I Shall Wear A Crown,’ but since that time countless artists have covered the classic hymn. Trey took this gospel favorite and put his own unique spin on it and that’s what we have the pleasure of hearing today. This is such a beautiful arrangement with incredible voices and harmony. The way all of these vocals blend together so perfectly has me raising my hands with praise. ‘Soon as my feet strike Zion Lay down my heavy burden Put on my robe in glory Shout and tell Him my story Soon as I can see Jesus Tell Him all about my trouble Put on my robe in glory Shout, shout, tell Him my story I shall wear a robe and crown’ Who else is ready to stand in front of our King? What a glorious day that will be!

He is self-employed and because of some of the side effects, he was unable to work. When the kind folks at PRAYnksters heard about the couple, they immediately put a plan in motion to help them out. So, one night, Ed and Liz thought they were going to their son’s Boy Scouts award ceremony but it so much more than that. The Boy Scouts had just finished up a pumpkin sale and the couple had lent the troop their trailer. They were called up to the front to get an award of thanks. That’s when people started to pour into the room to shower Ed and Liz with monetary donations, gifts and lots of love and support. The couple was overwhelmed with the outpouring from the community. In total, over 400 people participated in the giving mob to assistance Ed and Liz with their cancer battle. What an incredible display of the true spirit of the Lord and helping those in need. I know this couple will never forget the kindness they experienced and I hope that they continue the chain of love. We’re all praying for this family during this difficult season. Romans 13:8 “Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.”

In 2016, Michael and his wife, Luisana, found out that their oldest son Noah had been diagnosed with liver cancer. They broke the news on Facebook and Michael put his career on hold so that they could start treatment right away. The pair wrote in their online post, ‘We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children. Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well.’ It was never a question for Michael and his wife to step away from the spotlight. He described the situation by saying, ‘There is no choice. It was, take care of business, come together as a family, put your head down, pray lots and just survive.” During Noah’s treatment, the couple also asked for prayers the outpouring of love that followed was bigger than anyone could’ve ever imagined. Michael’s fans rallied around the singer, writing positive thoughts on social media and even sending him handwritten letters. The family put their faith in God and the most amazing thing happened next. Noah’s cancer was gone. He was able to undergo surgery where doctors were able to remove the tumor completely. Now, Michael is back to performing, but with a renewed sense of what is truly important in life. What an incredible story of faith, family and the miracle of prayer.

'What Christmas Means To Me' - A Cappella From Pentatonix

A cappella group Pentatonix help get us in the Christmas spirit with their upbeat rendition of ‘What Christmas Means To Me.’ This popular tune was made famous after Stevie Wonder released his recording in 1967. Decades later, this Christmas favorite always has a way of getting me to sing along. ‘Candles burnin' low, Lots of mistletoe. Lots of snow and ice, Everywhere we go. Choirs singin' carols, Right outside my door. All these things and more (All these things and more) That's what Christmas means to me my love (That's what Christmas means to me my love)’ These talented vocalists have become a Christmas staple with songs such as ‘Mary Did You Know’ and ‘Hallelujah’. This upbeat rendition of ‘What Christmas Means To Me’ is really a toe-tapper. All five voices combine perfectly to make the most melodious and joyful holiday sound. The Grammy-award winning group truly knows how to choose the perfect songs to compliment their talent and they’ve definitely done it again with this one. You can find this single, and other holiday songs, on the new Pentatonix album “Christmas Is Here!”. “Christmas Is Here!” includes all of our favorites such as “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas,” “Here Comes Santa Claus” and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” There is just something about hearing all of these songs recorded a cappella that truly gives them a whole new feel. I think this is going to be another Christmas album that gets played year after year. What do you think?

'Mary Did You Know' From Mark Lowry And Brother

The modern classic ‘Mary, Did You Know?’ is one of the most popular Christmas songs of all time. But this powerful song took over 7 years to perfect. The idea for the song came to Mark Lowry when he was writing a Christmas program for Jerry Falwell in the early 80s. He started thinking about what he would ask Mary if she was sitting right in front of him and how she must have felt. That’s when he put together the questions that eventually became the lyrics we know and love today. ‘Mary did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man? Mary did you know that your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand? Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod? When you kiss your little baby, you kiss the face of God’ In 1991, once the lyrics were complete, Mark asked his good friend Buddy Greene to write music to accompany his words. It only took 30 minutes for Buddy to compose the iconic music for ‘Mary, Did You Know?’ Today, Mark is joined by his brother, Mike, for a special stripped down rendition of this famous song. When you hear them beautifully belt out the words, you will be reminded of the real reason for the season. Luke 1:30-31 The angel said to her, “Mary, do not be afraid. You have found favor with God. See! You are to become a mother and have a Son. You are to give Him the name Jesus.

Today, we get to hear her ring in the holiday season with a special performance of ‘It’s Christmas’ on the daytime show Pickler And Ben. ‘Traffic jamming on the snowy road Standards playing on the stereo Back and forth to the grocery store’ We all know that the Christmas season can be busy. Sometimes, we get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of presents and parties that we start to forget what the holiday is actually about. It’s so important to take time to pause and really remember that we are celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. His birth paved the way for our salvation and now, we are all saved. This is the perfect time of year to truly let your light for the Lord shine and share the good news with the world. ‘So glad it's Christmas Bright lights are everywhere It's Christmas Children say a prayer At Christmas, Christmas’ Even though we may be busy, the lyrics of CeCe’s song sum it up perfectly: ‘Oh the hustle this time of year Oh but I'm so glad we're here’ I’m so thankful that CeCe is sharing this special song this year and giving us all the reminder we need to make Christ the reason for the season.

Strangers Help Frazzled Mom On A Flight And She Pays It Forward

One thankful mom is encouraging others to pay it forward after three strangers stepped up for her in a big way. 31-year-old Becca Kinsey was flying home with her two young sons after a trip to Disney World when everything started to crumble. Her 2-year-old started to scream in the airport security line and Becca became frazzled. That’s when a kind woman offered to let the family go in front of her instead of waiting. Becca posted about the day on Facebook saying, “So I thought it was a good idea to fly by myself with a 2 yr old and a 5 year old. We were standing in line in security, on the verge of tears because Wyatt was screaming and James was exhausted. Out of the blue, one mom stops the line for security and says ‘Here, jump in front of me! I know how it is!’” And the kindness didn’t stop there, another woman offered to carry Becca’s bag so that she could hold on to her sleeping son. Then, once Becca and her sons were on the plane, a third woman stepped up to help. “This angel comes to the back and says ‘You look like you need a break’ and holds Wyatt for the rest of the flight.” After she arrived home, Becca made a social media post about her 3 guardian angels and it went viral. Then, this grateful mom decided to pay it forward and encouraged others to do the same. It’s truly amazing how a little bit of kindness can lead to wave of change.

'Heaven's Not Too Far' - We Three Pen Song For Mother In Heaven

‘Heaven’s Not Too Far’ is the debut track off of the new self-titled album from We Three. This talented family band from Oregon is comprised of siblings Joshua, Bethany and Manny. You may remember this trio from their run on America’s Got Talent. The band made it all the way to the semi-finals before being eliminated, but they made a big impression on America. During their initial audition they performed their original song ‘Heaven’s Not Too Far.’ The siblings shared the touching story behind the song and it had America in tears. Their father was in a family band, so these siblings were around music before they would even walk. Music was such a big part of their family and it brought them all closer. Sadly, the trio lost their mother in 2015 to stage 4 carcinoma cancer and her death left an impact. To honor this amazing woman, We Three has penned the song, written from her point of view. During their AGT audition, judge Mel B couldn't hold back the tears as this talented trio belted out the powerful lyrics. Mel B lost her own father in 2017 after a long battle with cancer, so this song hit her especially hard. Now, the band is releasing their official music video and it’s truly one that will hit you right in the heart. ‘But Heaven's not too far away I know someday you'll visit And I didn't think it'd go this way Can I please have one more minute I gave you life Now you gotta watch it leave my eyes But Heaven's not too far away I know someday you'll visit’
