Sara and her dog, Hero, return to the America’s Got Talent stage for another shot at winning the title. When we first met Sara Carson and her beloved collie, they were auditioning for the 12th season of America’s Got Talent.
Carson is a dog trainer who was living out of her car trying to make a living doing what she loved. When she received ‘no’ votes from the judges, Carson was devastated. But that is when judge Simon Cowell pleaded with the others to allow Sara and Hero another chance. He saw something in this duo that he felt so strongly about.
Thankfully, Simon convinced the others and these two moved on to the next round. There was definitely something special about this duo and they ended up making it all the way finals before finishing in 5th place.
Now, Sara and Hero are back as they compete on America’s Got Talent: The Champions. This special format features 50 acts who have won or been featured on previous editions of the show. These competitors come from all over the world and now they are all vying for the ultimate title.
This talented dog and his trainer earned laughter from the judges and audience with their bank heist routine. These two are back and better than ever and I’m so glad that they’re getting a second chance at this competition. 14-year-old contemporary dancer Ellie reduces one judge to tears after talented performance. This Scottish dancer was full of nerves as she competed for a spot on The Greatest Dancer.
From a very young age, Ellie showed a special talent for dance. No one else in her family has a dancing background, but she begged her parents to enroll her in classes. Soon, everyone that saw Ellie dance said that she had that something. For years, this teen has dedicated herself to pursuing her passion, even when it means missing out on social events.
Now, she’s following her dreams all the way to The Greatest Dancer stage. This new show follows dancers of all ages and genres as they compete for prize money and the chance to appear on Strictly Come Dancing. At first, the dancer is hidden behind a wall. As they start to perform, the audience is given the chance to vote on the audition. If more than 75 percent of the audience likes the dancer, the mirrored-wall will open and the dancer moves on to the next round.
Watch as Ellie shakes off the nerves to start her performance to ‘In This Shirt’ by The Irrepressibles. As she gracefully moved across the stage, judge Oti Mabuse couldn’t hold back the tears. The audience felt something too because before long, the walls were opening up and Ellie was officially moving on to the next stage of competition. What an inspiring performance from such a young talent. We’re all looking forward to what she comes out with next.
This loving father cannot hold back the tears as he reads a letter to his daughter on her wedding day. This Taiwanese dad is about to go through one of the most emotional days of his life. His daughter is getting married and he will have to give her away.
This is a moment that every father looks forward to but also dreads. They realize that their baby girl is all grown up and ready to start a new life with her soon-to-be husband. This father decided to write a letter to his son-in-law and recite it at their wedding. What resulted was a speech full of tears and love. “If there ever comes a day when you don’t love her anymore, please don’t tell her. Tell me. I will take her home,” he recited through misty eyes.
After the video was posted online, social media quickly reacted to the special moment. This speech has been viewed over 25 million times and I’m sure just as many tears have been shed. This is definitely a moment that this young bride will cherish for a lifetime.

Even though she didn’t win her season of the popular talent competition, she became a household name selling millions of albums and touring the world.

I can’t wait to see this inspiring talent move on in the talent competition.
A Good Samaritan homeless man returns a check for $10,000 and it leads to the biggest blessing. In 2017, Elmer Alvarez was homeless and living on the streets. Then, one day, he happened to find a check lying on the sidewalk. When Elmer realized that the check was for such a large amount, he knew he needed to find the owner.
“The first thing that came to my mind is ‘I gotta look for this person,’” Elmer said. So he tracked down Roberta Hoskie, a real estate broker in the area. Roberta didn’t even realize that she had lost the check but she was eager to meet the kind stranger who found it. When she met up with Elmer, he was not at all what she expected and when Roberta heard his story, she knew she wanted to help. This amazing woman helped Elmer find an apartment and she paid his rent for seven months until he got on his feet. She also helped put him through real estate school.
Now, these two have plans to open a transitional home for other homeless people as they work to build a new life. Before Roberta started her multi-million dollar business, she was just a single mom without a home. So, she knows exactly what it feels like to be homeless.
Together, Roberta and Elmer are using their own experiences to make sure that no one else has to continue down that path. “I know what it is to be homeless. Nobody deserves to live like that,” Elmer remarked. God definitely brought these two together for a reason and it’s an absolute blessing to watch their story unfold.
This father and son are finally reuniting and the touching moment was all captured on camera. Lamar has not seen his father in over 37 years. So when his 45th birthday came around, his friends and family hatched a plan. They decided to surprise Lamarr with a long overdue visit from his dad. Even though it’s unclear why these two were apart for so long, the emotional reunion says it all.
Lamarr couldn’t hold his tears back and this father and son share a beautiful embrace. After such a long separation, neither one of the men wanted to let go of the other. God handpicked who would be our biological family on this earth. These special people share a bond like no other and it’s a relationship that can truly affect the rest of our lives.
Today, Lamarr and his father and getting another chance at their relationship and it’s obvious to see that they are both eager to keep going. This was such a wonderful surprise and I’m so glad that someone was there to capture this ‘hug of a lifetime’ on video. We wish you many more years of happiness as father and son.

The very first America’s Got Talent winner, Bianca Ryan, returns to the stage with an emotional song. Bianca was just eleven years old when she was crowned the winner of the popular singing competition in 2006. She dazzled the judges with her Broadway-style voice and received praises week after week.
When the show was over, she started to tour and record more music. But when she noticed that her voice wasn’t the same, she decided to see a doctor. That’s when she received the devastating news that one of her vocal cords was paralyzed. Bianca’s doctor told her that she needed surgery and that there was a chance she would never be able to sing again. The young talent was forced to put her musical career on hold and she felt like her fans started to forget about her. Bianca feared that all of her dreams were ending.
Now, this 24-year-old is back and she’s ready to make her comeback on America's Got Talent: The Champions. “I’m the first winner of America’s Got Talent. I lived 12 years in shadows and I’m ready to see the light again.” As she stepped on the darken stage, Bianca beautifully belted out ‘Say Something’ from A Great Big World. Just a few notes into the song and I understood exactly why this shining star was crowned a winner years ago. Bianca earned a standing ovation from her performance and she’s definitely going to be a serious contender in this competition. What an inspiring story of triumph and perseverance.

Contractors Aaron Gray and Josh Arnett became overnight sensations back in 2015 when they posted a video of them singing ‘How Great Thou Art’ on a job site. Now, their videos have accumulated millions of views and the men are committed to spreading the word of God through their music.
In 2018, they even signed with the Gaither Music Group to continue their faith-filled praise. This grandpa cannot help but tear up when his granddaughter surprises him with a musical rendition of a song he wrote in the 1980s. 69-year-old Mike Brook always dreamed of joining the army and serving his country. However, after he suffered from football injuries and loss of hearing in one ear, he was unable to enlist.
One day, he heard the story of a man who had served in the Vietnam War. The journey inspired Mike to write a song and he would sing the tune to his own children as they were growing up. This song turned into a special memory for the family. Decades later, Mike’s own granddaughter, Karli Willett, is an aspiring performer. When she found the lyrics to the song, she knew that she wanted to record the tune and share it with her grandpa. So one Christmas, she sat him down on the couch and started the video camera. That’s when she began playing the familiar tune.

As soon as Karli started to belt out the lyrics, Mike knew exactly what was happening. He immediately covered his eyes with his hands and started to sob. It was truly a touching moment as he listened to his granddaughter beautifully perform the song he had penned years before. This is such a special gift and I know this is a moment that the family will never forget.
Washington Redskins quarterback Colt McCoy shares how faith guides him each and every day. After a successful college football career, McCoy was drafted in the NFL in 2010.
Many people think that success is measured by how many trophies you have or the number of wins next to your name. But McCoy knows that there is so much more to life than man-made possessions. “For me, I am successful in life because I have Jesus Christ living inside of me. I don’t think God necessarily cares about wins and losses for me at Texas. I think He cares about my faith and what I am doing to make sure that I come and live in Heaven with Him one day and who I am bringing with me.”
This inspiring football player has put Christ first since he was just a young boy and it’s not afraid to let everyone know. His incredible I Am Second testimony truly showcases the love and faith he has in the Lord. McCoy even went as far as to say, “I feel like God has raised me. He’s made me the man that I am. And He’s put me where He wants me.”
What a great example for the younger generation of a faith-filled athlete who gives all the credit to God. I hope we continue to see other athletes stand up for their faith and not be afraid to proclaim Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

An 11-month-old baby was found alive after spending more than 35 hours trapped under rubble. Baby Ivan was wrapped in his blanket as first responders pulled him out of a collapsed apartment building.
The baby was buried for hours in sub-freezing temperatures, yet somehow he survived. When he was discovered, Ivan was quickly rushed to the hospital for treatment. Ivan suffered from fractures, a head injury and hypothermia but he is expected to pull through.
The infant’s mother and brother were also rescued from the building and they are beyond thankful for Ivan’s miraculous recovery. At least 18 people have been killed when the 10-story building in Magnitogorsk, Russia fell and dozens of others still remain unaccounted for.
First responders are still working to recover as many people as possible. The explosion started on the first floor and caused higher floors to collapse. The apartment complex was home to 120 people and 48 apartments were destroyed with many others suffering damage. Officials believe that a gas explosion caused the initial collapse, but an investigation is still underway.
With all of these statistics, it’s truly a miracle that an infant baby was able to survive. But God is greater than anything on this Earth and that tiny baby gave hope and faith to hundreds all around the area.

12-year-old Isabella Ciriello is using her guitar skills to play music for NICU babies. This talented teen is no stranger to the New York-Presbyterian Komansky Children’s Hospital. Isabella spent months in the newborn intensive care unit after she was born 16 weeks early. Doctors said that she was just on the cusp of viability and they tried to prepare her parents for the worst, but Isabella continued to fight. While she was being treated at the hospital, her doctor put a speaker in her isolette to play music.
Once she was released from the NICU, Dr. Jeffrey Perlman wrote Isabella a ‘prescription’ for music. He recommended that her parents play music for her, including classical tunes such as Mozart. The songs are said to comfort and soothe premature babies.
Nearly 12 years later, this teen is a talented musician playing multiple instruments such as the guitar and piano. Now, she is giving back to the people and place that helped her as a baby and it is absolutely heartwarming. She has been bringing her guitar into the NICU to play for the infants in hopes that the music will give them the same support she had. Isabella said, “I’ve seen some pictures of myself when I was a preemie and it’s really hard to believe that I was that small and fragile. It was important for me because it helped me give back to these babies.” What an inspiring young girl to give her time so selflessly to these babies in need.

A lot of times, you cannot help but to sing along too. Today, this talented trio is performing the best classic tunes and it’s giving me the biggest dose of nostalgia. 14-year-old Marissa easily impressed the judges with her rendition of Adele’s ‘Remedy.’ This young talent stepped up to the microphone with confidence on The Voice Kids. When she started to sing, I was taken aback at the maturity and depth of her voice. Adele is a pop music sensation with an incredible vocal range. With multiple high notes, covering one of her songs is never an easy task. But Marissa rose to the challenge and completely dominated her audition with this powerful song.
“When the world seems so cruel
And your heart makes you feel like a fool
I promise you will see
That I will be, I will be your remedy”
These words carry so much weight and meaning and Marissa is putting her all into every single note. As the beautiful song continued, Marissa’s family visibly started to get nervous. Despite the incredible number, none of the judges had turned around yet, even though some of them seemed to be struggling with the decision. Throughout the entire performance, Marissa never wavered or appeared worried, even when she hit her final note and the chairs remained still. Just when everyone thought it was all over, judges Mark and Max both hit their buttons.
The look of excitement on Marissa’s face is undeniable and you can see her family breathe a huge sigh of relief. This young girl is moving on to the next round and she completely deserves it. Who else thinks Marissa has what it takes to go far in the competition?
