This dying father shares an emotional first dance with his daughter on her wedding day. One of the most important moments in a woman’s life is when she gets married. It’s a time when she stands with the love of her life and they make a commitment to one another in front of God and family.
There are many special moments throughout the day, but one moment that always sticks out is the father-daughter dance. Normally done at the reception, this dance is always full of emotion. But one family is cherishing that moment for another reason. Mary Bourne Butts feared that her father may not make it to her December 29th wedding.
In May of 2017, her father, Jim Roberts, was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an incurable brain cancer. Shortly before the wedding, Roberts was placed into hospice care. But by the grace of God, this father made it to his daughter’s wedding and onto the dance floor. Together, they danced around to the classic country song ‘I Hope You Dance’ from LeeAnn Womack. Roberts is confined to a wheelchair but that didn’t stop Mary from twirling all around and sharing a tender moment with her dad.
I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room as this loving father sang the lyrics right along with his daughter. After being posted online, this video quickly went viral with over 400,000 views on Facebook. What a truly beautiful moment captured on film. Mary will surely cherish this dance for a lifetime.

Strangers on hidden camera react when diners belittle a waiter with OCD. The television show ‘What Would You Do?’ is a hidden camera program hosted by John Qui'ones.
The popular show is known for putting strangers in difficult situations and then recording how they react. You never know how someone will respond from episode to episode. Sometimes, there is anger while other times you will find yourself wiping away a tear. Many of the episodes are inspired by real life events or news stories.
Today’s dilemma focuses on mental health, an issue that has garnered increased attention in the past few years. An actor poses as a waiter with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, or OCD, while 2 female actresses portray the disgruntled diners. As they order their meal, they are met with frustration when the waiter’s OCD tendencies come up.
The cameras are rolling as nearby patrons notice how rude and disrespectful the two women are to the gentlemen trying to do his job. One by one, strangers start to stand up for the waiter either by saying something right to the women or giving words of encouragement to the waiter himself. But one particular diner stood out above the rest when she was brought to tears by the situation. It was then revealed that she suffered from OCD herself and sympathized with the waiter. After sharing her story, she wanted other to know, “We’re normal people. We go to work. We have kids. It’s no lesser than any disease of the body, it’s just a disease of the brain.”
What would you have done in this situation?

Even when you come undone”
Together, Lisa and Alan shared a dance on stage to their own unique version of the beautiful song. I think this is exactly what Alan was looking for when he wanted a rendition of ‘More’ that Lisa would always remember.

Psalm 127:3-5 “3 Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. 4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. 5 Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.”

One woman stuns the judges with her rendition of ‘Never Enough’ during The Voice UK blind auditions. 24-year-old Nicole Dennis is quickly becoming a favorite to win the entire competition after her incredible audition. Nicole confidently stepped up to the microphone and never waivered as she began to sing.
Just listen as she belts out the words to the popular tune ‘Never Enough’ from The Greatest Showman. This song is quickly becoming an instant classic and once you hear Nicole’s rendition, you’ll understand exactly why.
“All the shine of a thousand spotlights
All the stars we steal from the nightsky
Will never be enough
Never be enough
Towers of gold are still too little
These hands could hold the world but it'll
Never be enough
Never be enough
For me”
Nicole quickly turned the judges around as she perfectly hit every single note. And when she reached the chorus, the whole crowd was cheering. This talented artist is no stranger to the stage. She is currently performing on the West End in a production of Dreamgirls. It is very fitting that she ended up selecting Jennifer Hudson, star of the Dreamgirls film, as her coach. With an amazing voice and an award-winning coach, Nicole is definitely a contender in this competition.
It is only week one of The Voice UK but there is already a star on the horizon and I cannot wait to see what Nicole performs next. Who else is looking forward to more blind auditions like this one?
the original. 85-year-old Patricia May Johnson was devastated when she lost her beloved engagement diamond. Patricia injured her hand at her nursing home and her fingers became too swollen to wear her rings. She placed them in her jewelry box, but soon after they went missing.
When Christmas rolled around, Patricia’s husband, Don, asked his daughter to take him shopping for a replacement engagement ring and wedding band. So they wrapped up the precious gift and waited until it was time to exchange presents. With the camera rolling, Patricia opens up the package.
At first, she’s in disbelief and even thinks it may be a gift from the dollar store. But when she realizes that this is a real ring from a nice jeweler, she immediately covers her mouth in awe. That is when the tears started to flow from everyone in the room.
This couple has been married for 67 years and their love for each other shines through. Even though a ring does not define their relationship, the gesture of replacing this special item was an incredibly thoughtful moment.
In this day and age, it is rare for a couple to be together for this long and it is even more rare for them to still be so in love. What a touching moment from such a beautiful couple. Who else hopes for a relationship like Patricia and Don?
The talented Tenebrae choir performs a hauntingly beautiful rendition of ‘Miserere mei, Deus’ in the oldest church in London. St Bartholomew the Great, also known as St. Bart’s, provided the backdrop for this incredible performance. The ancient church was founded in 1123 and still remains a staple for tourists and locals in the United Kingdom today.
This stunning location was the perfect fit for the Tenebrae choir and their most recent arrangement. This award-winning ensemble is known all around the world for their impeccable performances and unique sound. Under the direction of Nigel Short, this choir has received praise for this vocal arrangements and moving concerts.
Today, they are belting out a flawless rendition of Gregorio Allegri's ‘Miserere mei, Deus.’ ‘Miserere mei, Deus’ means ‘Have mercy on me, O God’ in Latin. This beautiful composition was penned in the 1630s as a setting of Psalm 51. It was to be performed solely at the Sistine Chapel during Holy Week. As years passed, the ban was lifted and the chilling song was heard worldwide.
Now, this critically acclaimed choir is putting their own spin on this classic and it’s beyond beautiful. From the very first note, you could tell that this was going to be a performance like no other. The vocal range and talent from Tenebrae is absolutely incredible. And when they hit those high notes with ease, I was in complete awe. What perfect scenery to surround this multi-talented choir. Who else is looking forward to hearing more from this special group?
