2 Contestants On The Voice Perform 'Unchained Melody' Duet

Rebecca Howell and David Owens perform a beautiful duet of ‘Unchained Melody’ on The Voice during the battle rounds. These two contestants made it past the initial audition and both joined Team Kelly Clarkson. Now, they’ve got to fight for their spot during the battle rounds where contestants face off against one another while singing a duet. Afterwards, the coaches will weigh in with their comments and then decide who will move on to the next round of competition. Rebecca and David are both talented vocalists. Today, they’re coming together for an awe-inspiring performance of ‘Unchained Melody’ by The Righteous Brothers. “Oh, my love, my darling I've hungered for your touch A long, lonely time Time goes by so slowly And time can do so much Are you still mine? I need your love I need your love God speed your love to me” Both of these contestants have a big vocal range and they easily hit the high notes. This iconic song isn’t an easy one to cover, but they pull it off flawlessly. Just watch as all the coaches listen in stunned silence at these incredible voices coming from the stage. I know this is supposed to be a face off but this performance is such an amazing duet. I have no idea how Kelly made a decision between these two powerhouses, but it must’ve been extremely tough. With a voice like that, I know we haven’t seen the last of David Owens. But, for now, we can look forward to Rebecca’s next performance in the live cross battles.

Woman With Down Syndrome Follows Dream To Become A Flight Attendant

A young girl with Down Syndrome fulfills her dreams of becoming a flight attendant with the help of Jetstar Australia. Georgia has always wanted to help out on a real plane. She even posted a video on the Jetstar Facebook page with her big wish. “My passion about being a flight attendant is making people happy.” So, when the airline heard about her dream, they put an incredible plan into motion. Jetstar Australia invited Georgia to come and be a part of their cabin crew for the day. She was given an official uniform and learned the safety procedures explained at the beginning of the flight. Before the flight departed, Georgia greeted each passenger. Then, she assisted with the safety demo and knocked it right out of the park. Her infectious smile lit up the room and you could see everyone’s mood start to elevate. Georgia even helped to serve the passengers during the flight. It was an incredible experience for everyone involved. Nicky, the crew cabin manager said, “It’s been fantastic having Georgia around, she’s got this great energy about her.” Georgia has Down Syndrome but she isn’t letting that hold her back from anything in life. Push everything aside, just be yourself.” Georgia is certainly an inspiration to everyone around her and this story is just another example why the sky is truly the limit for someone with Down Syndrome. f

Willie admits, “I don’t have no secret for that, just be nice to each other.” These two have truly been an inspiration to everyone around them. In fact, their granddaughter remarked, “they are each other’s best friend.” In this day and age, it is becoming more and more rare to see marriages that last through the years. So, it is refreshing to see this couple being celebrated and admired. D.W. and Willie have truly lived a lifetime and they’re continuing to lean on each other every single day. Moriah Peters Shares Christian Marriage Tips

Moriah Peters, wife of For King & Country lead singer Joel Smallbone, shares why she keeps Christ at the center of her marriage. You may remember Moriah from her American idol audition back in 2010. While she didn’t earn a ticket to Hollywood, her audition stuck out because of her wholesome Christian values. Moriah went on to sign with a Christian record label and released numerous albums. During that time, she was introduced to Joel Smallbone. Joel is one half of the popular Christian band, For King & Country. It was love at first sight for Joel. A few years later, the two were married. But, despite the deep love that they shared for one another, they still endured struggles and hardship. While speaking with I Am Second, Moriah talks about overcoming those obstacles and why trusting in God is so important for a couple. “God being the center of our relationship, I think it boils down to that. You put two imperfect people together and you’re asking them to protect one another’s hearts and to love one another unconditionally. So, to us, it seems like the only way to do that is by accessing and tapping into a love that’s bigger than us.” Joel also joins in on the conversation. “There is an author, our creator, and our designer that does have this superhuman, superhero perfect love for us.” Moriah wholeheartedly admits that their marriage is not perfect, but when God is placed in the center, they can trust that He will lead the way.

Young Man Performs Violin Cover Of 'Hills And Valleys'

Talented violinist Daniel Jang performs a beautiful rendition of ‘Hills And Valleys’ from Tauren Wells. This Christian anthem has touched so many hearts around the world, but hearing this instrumental performance gives this song an entirely new feeling. ‘On the mountains, I will bow my life To the one who set me there In the valley, I will lift my eyes to the one who sees me there When I'm standing on the mountain aft, didn't get there on my own When I'm walking through the valley end, no I am not alone! You're God of the hills and valleys! Hills and Valleys! God of the hills and valleys And I am not alone!’ ‘Hills And Valleys’ is the perfect reminder that the Lord is always by our side. There may be times when we feel lost or without hope. But during these struggles, we can trust that God is with us each step of the way. You never walk alone when the Lord is in your heart. This violin rendition truly makes every single note so much more powerful. Daniel is definitely leading an entirely new generation in worship for our God. Isaiah 41: 10-13 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Behold, all who are incensed against you shall be put to shame and confounded; those who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish. You shall seek those who contend with you, but you shall not find them; those who war against you shall be as nothing at all. For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.”

2CELLOS Performs A Live Rendition Of 'Thunderstruck'

The talented duo of 2CELLOS performs a cover of the iconic rock song, ‘Thunderstruck.’ This popular tune was released by AC/DC in 1990. Decades later, this single has truly stood the test of time and become a hard rock classic. Today, ‘Thunderstruck’ is getting a cello makeover and it’s absolutely incredible. 2CELLOS is a Croatian cellist pair made up of Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser. These two have performed all over the world with their incredible blend of original and cover songs. They formed in 2011 and became a household name when their YouTube covers started to go viral. Both men are classically trained but they also incorporate rock elements into their numbers. In 2015, 2CELLOS released a cover of ‘Thunderstruck’ on their album, ‘Celloverse.’ Once the music video was released, it immediately went viral. In fact, the YouTube video has over 140 millions now. At a recent concert, the duo performed a live rendition of their smash hit and it’s so incredible to watch. There is so much talent and skill in every single movement. And, somehow, they can create a rock vibe with just the use of their cellos. I think their unique sound is the perfect compliment to this classic song. It gives ‘Thunderstruck’ an entirely new feel while still retaining the best elements that we all know and love. The duo has certainly proved that they are a band like no other and I’m definitely looking forward to what they do next. What did you think of this cello makeover?

4 Young Men Save A Stranger's Life When He Falls To The Ground

It was just another day out on the basketball court until four young men became heroes and saved a stranger’s life. After they watched him fall to the ground, they quickly stepped into action until the paramedics could arrive. Mark, Ricardo, Kei’Shon, and Keijuan are from Virginia. This group of friends can usually be found playing pickup basketball behind their local middle school. One day, while they were playing, a father and son joined them on the court. This was when their average day took a turn. The father collapsed on the ground and the young men knew that they needed to step in with some help. At first, the guys thought that the father was just tired. “About two minutes later, he was still on the ground,” says Mark. “Then his son was just looking at us.” Kei’Shon and Mark quickly went to the father to pick him up and see if he was breathing. Unfortunately, he was not responding. “We tried to get the son away because he started crying. We didn’t want him to see his dad laid out,” explains Mark. “So, we got the boy in the car and I drove him to his mother’s house.” While Mark was comforting the son and going to get his mother, Kei’Shon performed CPR on the father. He gives all the glory to God as to how he was able to help out during this emergency. “I guess, you just give it all to God,” he says. “I guess He put my hands in the right spot.” Once Mark arrived back to the scene with the son and his mother, all four of the young men made it a point to help keep the two of them calm while the paramedics showed up. The effort that these friends put in to help save this man’s life was such a blessing to that family! Thank God that they were on that basketball court when that man suffered a cardiac arrest. They helped save his life and truly became heroes that day.
