Violinist Brian King Joseph Overcomes Rare Nerve Disease To Perform On AGT

Talented violinist Brian King Joseph returns to the America’s Got Talent stage for an incredible original performance. We first met Brian when he competed on the 2018 season of AGT. That’s when we learned that Brian started to play violin when he was just a boy. But, he was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy, a rare nerve disease that leads to the deterioration of nerves in the fingers, feet and spine. This condition left Brian in a lot of pain and he was bedridden for much of high school and college. By the time he was 22, Brian reached a point where he was tired of the pain and letting his condition rule his life. He decided to turn to his childhood love and picked up the violin again. The music truly made Brian feel alive again and he gradually started to improve. He decided to audition for America’s Got Talent and made it all the way to the finals where he placed third. Since that time, Brian has toured the world and even had enough money to afford his healthcare. Now, he’s playing better than ever and he’s back to try and win the title on America’s Got Talent: Champions. This special format of competition features over 40 acts from all across the globe. The list of contenders includes past winners, finalists and fan-favorites from the entire Got Talent franchise. Brian performed an original song that had the entire audience on their feet. After the performance, Simon said ‘Every time I see you, I am blown away.’ And I have to agree. Brian King Joseph definitely has what it takes to go all the way. What do you think?

School Surprises Sick Teacher With 'Fight Song' Serenade

In this heartwarming video, a school surprises a sick teacher who has cancer with a ‘fight song’ serenade. Emily Marshall is a first-grade teacher at Central Elementary School in Moore, Oklahoma. She has been a teacher there for 21 years and loves the students and staff very much. Recently, Mrs. Marshall was diagnosed with breast cancer for the eighth time. Her students and the other teachers at Central Elementary wanted to put on a surprise for her to show her how much she means to them. As Emily walked through the door of the gymnasium, the whole student body screamed “We love you Mrs. Marshall!” She was in shock and put her hands to her face right after the initial surprise. During the surprise assembly, Mrs. Marshall had her husband, Danny, and their three children, Noah, Samantha, and Bryce, right beside her. Zachary Snyder, the music teacher at the school, taught the first graders the song ‘Fight Song’ by Rachel Platten to help encourage Mrs. Marshall. “Like a small boat On the ocean Sending big waves Into motion Like how a single word Can make a heart open I might only have one match But I can make an explosion This is my fight song Take back my life song Prove I'm alright song My power's turned on Starting right now I'll be strong I'll play my fight song And I don't really care if nobody else believes 'Cause I've still got a lot of fight left in me” “We love her. We care about her,” says Mr. Snyder. “We want her to know that she is not fighting this battle alone.” As Mrs. Marshall watches the first graders sing and dance, she wipes away tears from her eyes. She is so moved by their compassion. “I thank you guys all for supporting me through this,” Mrs. Marshall says. “I love all of you. Thank you.”

11-Year-Old Earns Golden Buzzer With 'At Last' Performance

11-year-old Margaux earns the coveted golden buzzer with her performance of ‘At Last’ on Sweden’s Got Talent. This classic song was originally written in 1941 for a musical, but it wasn’t until 1960 that it became the iconic tune it is today. Etta James recorded her own arrangement and the song went straight to number one. Even decades later, ‘At Last’ continues to be regularly played and covered by other artists all over the world. And whenever you hear those famous lyrics, it truly transports you back to another time and place. “At last my love has come along My lonely days are over and life is like a song, oh yeah At last the skies above are blue My heart was wrapped up clover the night I looked at you” Today, young Margaux is putting her own spin on this classic during her audition for Sweden’s Got Talent. From the very first note, I knew that this was going to be an incredible performance. She may be young but this girl has such a big voice. In fact, Margaux hits every single note perfectly and even adds a little bit of personality to the performance. It’s no surprise that all of the judges gave her rave reviews. But I don’t think anyone was more shocked than Margaux when one of the judges hit the golden buzzer sending her straight through to the next round. I am so excited to see what the future holds for this young talent and her powerhouse vocals.

Who Am I?

Ever ask the question, who am I? or What defines me? What gives me value and worth? Ever struggle with insecurity? Where is the answer found...?

1 Man Turns All 4 Judges With 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Audition

One man turns all for of the judges on The Voice France with his stunning rendition of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’ This iconic song was written by Freddie Mercury for Queen’s 1975 album, ‘A Night At The Opera.’ Since that time, many famous artists have lent their vocals to the tune. Decades later, it is still a popular song for covers and auditions. In fact, that’s exactly what this young man did for his recent performance on The Voice France. Just listen as Jonathan steps onto the stage and belts out these classic lyrics. “Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Caught in a landslide No escape from reality Open your eyes Look up to the skies and see I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy Because I'm easy come, easy go A little high, little low Anyway the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me” ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ is always a crowd pleaser and you can see the delight in the eyes of the judges when they hear this famous tune. Then, one by one, they all turn around to see the face behind that incredible voice. At one point, I thought only three of the judges were going to hit their buttons, but then Jonathan hit that final note and the last judge was so moved. It’s obvious that Jonathan is very talented and he clearly made an impression on the entire crowd. After a performance like this, I wonder what this young man will sing next time.

Figure Skater Anna Shcherbakova Pulls Off Costume Change During Routine

15-year-old Anna Shcherbakova pulls off an incredible costume change during a recent ice-skating performance. Anna is a Russian figure skater who has already made a name for herself in the skating world. Even though she is young, Anna has nearly mastered this difficult sport. We all know that figure skaters have to put so much work and practice to perfect their routines. They are also tasked with having to tell a story using only their body. Most skaters train for years and years in order to live out their dreams on the ice. But it’s all worth it when they get enter the rink and the crowd truly embraces every moment. After overcoming injuries, such as a broken leg in 2017, Anna is ready to show the world what she can do. And that’s exactly what happens in this viral clip from the 2019 Skate America competition. As Anna glides across the ice, the music is very soft and slow. But then, as she is spinning around, Anna completes a stunning costume change transforming into a beautiful red dress. That’s when the tempo starts to pick up and Anna really starts to show off her skills. But if you thought that the costume change was easy, you would be mistaken. We can hear the commentators remark that Anna described the skirt as very heavy. In fact, she has to practice in the skirt to get accustomed to the weight difference. This routine earned Anna the gold medal and truly put her in a class of her own. I have a feeling we will be seeing more from this talented skater in the future.

For eleven years, Kathie Lee was a staple on the fourth hour of TODAY with co-host Hoda Kotb. Before that, she won over the hearts of America with Regis and Kathie Lee. But everything changed in 2015 when Kathie Lee lost her husband, Frank Gifford. After 29 years of marriage, Kathie found him on the floor of the home that they shared together. Even though she knew that Frank was with God, she still felt a huge pang of loneliness. At one time, Kathie’s home in Connecticut was filled with children, animals and the sounds of her husband working outside. Now, the house felt so huge and empty. That is when Kathie knew she needed to make a change. She told Hoda and Jenna that she thought to herself, “I need to make a new life for myself or this one’s gonna kill me. The loneliness was crippling.” After decades in the spotlight, this beloved host left New York to put down new roots in Nashville. Since leaving the show, Kathie Lee has been busier than ever with new music, directorial projects and a blossoming social life. And she feels right at home in Nashville. “It’s a cultural of kindness. Grace

Today’s biblical interpretation and spring board for thoughtful meditation comes from Ephesians 2:6-8

And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith---and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God---

Affirmations For Self Esteem - Law of Attraction

" Why am i so bad at everthing" "Why does everthing go so wrong""I'm never going to be able to do this job; I'm just not smart enough."

"Why does my boss want me to present at the trade show? I'm a terrible public speaker, and I'll just embarrass the company."

"I wish I could stick up for myself at work. In every meeting, I let the others walk over my ideas. I'm never going to get ahead."

Many of us have negative thoughts like these, sometimes frequently. When we think like this, our confidence, mood and outlook can become negative, too.

The problem with negative thoughts is that they can become self-fulfilling prophecies. We talk ourselves into believing that we're not good enough. And, as a result, these thoughts drag down our personal lives, our relationships, and our careers.

But, if we deliberately do the opposite and use positive thoughts about ourselves, the effect can be just as powerful but far more helpful. So try some of of these affirmations or watch the video and listen to these affirmations and use them for 28 days and feel like you can build up your self esteem.
