The Voice France Finalist Performs 'Hallelujah' From Leonard Cohen

A finalist on The Voice France belts out an incredible rendition of ‘Hallelujah.’ Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ is one of the most popular songs of all time. The powerful song was originally released in 1984, but it wasn’t until Jeff Buckley released the song on his 1994 album, ‘Grace’ that the song really started to gain momentum. Since that time, it’s become a worldwide phenomenon and cementing itself in music history. Over the years, many artists have covered this powerful song, which sounds like a perfect blend of a rock ballad and a gospel song. Some notable covers include Bon Jovi, Pentatonix and Susan Boyle. “Well I've heard there was a secret chord That David played and it pleased the Lord But you don't really care for music, do you? Well it goes like this The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall and the major lift The baffled king composing Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah” Today, Antony Trice is singing ‘Hallelujah’ during the semi-finals of The Voice France. As he steps up to the microphone, he flawlessly hits every single note of this iconic tune. With just a simple background, his voices are allowed to shine through and we all understand how Antony got this far in the competition. ‘Hallelujah’ is not an easy song to sing but Antony truly pulled it off with ease. This unique performance definitely caught the attention of the audience. Now, only time will tell if this talented vocalist will be able to claim the winner’s title.

Musical Family Sings 'Take Me Home Country Roads' During Quarantine

The family band, Colt Clark and the Quarantine Kids, delight us with their rousing rendition of ‘Take Me Home Country Roads.’ This classic song was written by John Denver back in 1971. After it’s release, the nostalgic song became an instant hit for Denver. The entire tune is an ode to the great state of West Virginia and you can’t help but picture those scenic skylines as you listen to the lyrics. “Almost heaven, West Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River Life is old there, older than the trees Younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze” Today, we’re hearing a very special rendition of this classic from The Clark Family. Colt Clark is a musician and family man from Tampa, Florida. But when shelter-at-home orders were given during the COVID-19 health crisis, it meant Colt Clark was out of work. Rather than look at the negative, Colt saw a unique opportunity with his kids. Father to Cash, Beckett, and Bellamy, Colt decided to get the whole family together and start a band. Even Mom gets in on the action as the woman behind the camera. Just listen as they sing their heart out to this iconic tune. “Country roads, take me home To the place I belong West Virginia, mountain mama Take me home, country roads” Whenever I hear these words, I’m instantly transported back in time. And during these moments of fear and anxiety throughout the world, it’s so amazing to see a family come together and create something beautiful.

Passerby Stuns When He Joins Street Busker For Ed Sheeran 'Perfect' Duet

In this street performance, one passerby stuns audiences when he joins a street busker for a duet while she is singing ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran. “'Cause we were just kids when we fell in love, not knowing what it was I will not give you up this time, Darling, just kiss me slow, your heart is all I own And in your eyes, you're holding mine Baby, I'm dancing in the dark with you between my arms Barefoot on the grass, we're listenin' to our favorite song When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath But you heard it, darling, you look perfect tonight” The girl singing in the video is Allie Sherlock, and she was performing this song on Grafton Street in Dublin, Ireland. She has such a beautiful and unique voice, and when she sings, she produces such a strong and lovely sound. “She has such a soothing voice,” comments one person on YouTube. “I could listen to it forever.” “Please understand, there are many people who sing great,” writes another viewer on YouTube. “But the texture of this girl's voice is wonderful.” During her street performance, a man passes by and then walks up to the microphone to start singing the song in Italian. He has a sweet voice, and onlookers are recording him while he is showcasing his talents. Then, Allie and the man start singing together during the last chorus of the song. What a beautiful show these two put on for everyone! May both of these talented singers continue to use their gifts to bring a smile to the faces of others. Isaiah 42:10 “Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you islands, and all who live in them.”

'Amazing Grace' Blind Audition Turns The Judges Within Seconds

Contestant Angela Fabian stuns the judges with her heartfelt rendition of ‘Amazing Grace.’ This beloved hymn was originally written by John Newton. John wrote the hymn as a way of giving thanks to the Lord after He granted him new life. As a sailor, John was known for his crude language and actions. But one day, John found himself caught in the middle of a terrible storm. After spending hours at the helm of the ship, John’s thoughts began to turn to God. After surviving the weather, John started his life as a Christian and dedicated himself to serving our Father. The touching words of ‘Amazing Grace’ were inspired by this revelation. “Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me I once was lost, but now am found T'was blind but now I see T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear And Grace, my fears relieved How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed” Today, Angela Fabian is putting her own spin on this iconic song as she auditions for The Voice Australia. And there was no reason from this talent to be nervous because after just a few notes, judge Boy George pressed his button and turned around. And when she hit those high notes, the others judges just had to turn and see the powerhouse vocalist behind them. As her family cheered from the side, Angela delivered an awe-worthy performance and solidified her spot in the competition. Who else is looking forward to hearing this incredible singer again?

Smart 10-Year-Old Scares Off Potential Robber

One smart 10-year-old from Bakersfield, CA scares off a potential robber as he is walking into her family’s garage. Lola was in the driveway, sitting in the passenger seat of her parent’s car, when she noticed something suspicious. She had just started the engine to turn on the air conditioning, and shortly after that, she saw a man approaching her house. “I thought he might have been someone selling something or someone coming to pick something up,” she shares. “And then when he walked into my garage with no one in there, I just kind of felt like he’s not supposed to really be here.” To defend her household, Lola started screaming at the man and scared off the suspected intruder. “Hey! Get out! Get out of here!” she yells out of the car from the passenger seat. Her yells scared the man off and he ran down the street and away from the house. Thank goodness for this 10-year-old’s bravery and boldness! Even as a little girl, she was able to scare off a man that was double her size! “She has a lot of confidence, and I feel like that’s what played a big role in that situation,” Lola’s dad explains. “It opens your eyes and shows everybody else exactly what could really happen in the blink of an eye.” Lola’s parents are proud of their hero daughter and are thankful that she is also safe. Way to go Lola for stopping an attempted burglary! 1 Timothy 4:12-16 12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. 13 Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. 14 Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you. 15 Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. 16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.
