Shopping is, without a doubt, one of the worst activities humans must engage in regularly. No one enjoys going to the doctor or dentist either, but I would argue those medical outings are preferable to visiting any store. That may sound like an exaggeration, but it is not.

However, as much as I detest shopping, the absolute worst, most horrible type is shopping for groceries. It’s physically impossible to pop into a grocery store for a “quick trip.” Why? Most grocery stores are laid out in the most illogical and haphazard way. It’s almost like those who set up the aisles did so with their eyes closed. Also, it never fails that whenever you eventually find the item you need, someone stands right in front of it, carefully reading every ingredient in a box of cake mix like it’s a matter of life and death.

But one video posted on YouTube makes the horrible grocery store shopping experience a little bit better. The clip shows a small dog standing on its back legs as it leans onto and pushes an equally small cart forward. The miniature shopping cart even holds several items.

The clip follows the cute, furry, four-legged shopper across the store, leaving you wondering where the dog is going. Is it planning to shoplift? No, not exactly; like every other shopper, the dog is looking for the shortest, most efficient checkout line possible.

Eventually, the dog does find a checkout line whose length is not too bad. The animal then waits patiently for its turn at the checkout counter.

There are many human obstacles, with several people going up and down the steps, and the dog does not run into any pedestrians.

But that is not all.

Even if you enjoyed the cute video, thought the dog was just along for the ride, and had no idea how to operate the skateboard, you would be severely mistaken. Once the dog and its skateboard make it down the steps, the animal continues to enjoy its ride. However, the skateboard starts to lose a little speed, but the dog knows exactly how to help it regain momentum (the cutest part of the entire clip).

They even stole all the attention from the couple waiting to get married and walked up the aisle as the ceremony was underway. However, as demonstrated in the clip, no one, including the bride and groom, was bothered by this cute family of wedding crashers.

In the video, the pastor is in the middle of performing the ceremony when a mother duck and her handful of ducklings waddle up the aisle. They don’t care that everyone is seated and the ceremony has already started; they are still trying to get the best view possible.

When the bride and groom eventually spotted the ducks, they could not believe their eyes. Neither could their family and friends. Several laughs and gasps were heard when the winged crashers were discovered.

However, as he reaches the wall, he slows down and eventually places his face/head on the wall. Seconds later, the child lightly taps his head on the wall, causing the woman behind the camera to yell slightly at the child’s odd and unexpected action.

Why would anyone deliberately hit their head on the wall? Moments later, the reasons for the youngster’s smacking of his head on the wall are revealed.

A beautiful husky is lying on a nearby bed, and the child wants the pup to kiss his injury and make him feel better. The child’s attempt at injury was to get love and attention from the canine, who sweetly responds to the toddler and licks him on the head.

A mama bear and her cub went for an enjoyable swim in a pool, making for an unbearably cute scene! The pair wanted to beat the heat, and what better way to do that than jumping into an unoccupied swimming pool? In my humble opinion, summertime is the best season of the year. It’s an opportunity to get away from those screens that we’re all unfortunately glued to and just be outside and enjoy the great outdoors. Many will also use the summer months to go on those long-anticipated vacations.

The only real, valid reasons for anyone not to enjoy the summer season are the temperatures and the humidity, and even those are still debatable. Weather conditions can be a bit uncomfortable, to say the least. But of course, there are ways to try to beat the sweltering heat and high humidity that often accompany June, July and August. The clip shows a mother bear and her cub enjoying an empty pool in Northern California. Mom let her little one get in and enjoy some time in the pool first. A famous pup basks in post-vet attention while her sibling hilariously looks on, a little annoyed and jealous. It’s too cute not to watch. First, there was the limp. Just a little one. A dramatic, Oscar-worthy kind of limp that said, “I have been through so much today.”

Layla, the boxer, had just returned home from the vet. Her knee was sore. Her pride, bruised. And her mom, Samantha? Well, she was wrecked. “Come here, my poor little baby,” Samantha cooed like Layla had just returned from a battlefield instead of a ten-minute car ride and a vet visit with a complimentary biscuit. And just like that—Boom. She was allowed on the couch.

The couch. Not the rug. Not the dog bed. Not the floor where her sister Luna was definitely still sitting. Oh no, Layla was elevated—both physically and emotionally. Luna watched from below, like, “This feels illegal but okay.”

Next came the snacks. Not just a treat. We’re talking about extra extra biscuits, we’re talking about the good snacks like string cheese, the kind she probably only gets on Christmas. Samantha handed them over like Layla was a tiny, furry war veteran. Luna was not thrilled. And Layla? She blinked slowly. She accepted every morsel. She sighed like someone who knew she was living her best life.

Then came the final blow. The Comforter. Not just any blanket. The comforter. Samantha’s prized, fluffy, Martha-Stewart-worthy comforter—the one no one is allowed to touch unless they’re feverish or heartbroken. Layla was not only wrapped in it—she was tucked in. Pillows fluffed. Neck supported. She looked like a throw pillow display at Pottery Barn with a side of melodrama.

Meanwhile, Luna lay on the floor looking like a long-suffering older sibling in a family sitcom. She let out the heaviest sigh you’ve ever heard from a Collie. Her eyes screamed, “I stubbed my paw last week and no one made me a burrito.”

At one point, Layla whimpered the smallest whimper—barely a sound—and Samantha was there like a nurse on high alert. “Oh baby, I’ll get you anything you need, just say the word.”

Luna side-eyed so hard I swear the couch tilted, and Layla couldn’t believe how her sis was playing it up for the extra attention.  But still, she stayed in the room. Because even if her sister was being just a bit extra, Luna knew love when she saw it. And in the end, that’s what this house runs on—Snacks, side-eyes, sacred blankets, and a whole lot of compassion for one sore knee and a dog who knew how to milk it.

If that isn’t the definition of a best friend, I don’t know what is. God knew that when He created man’s best friend, they would know exactly how to brighten our days with their joy. They’re not just our pets; they’re family. They join in on all our little moments, even when those moments seem small to us. To them, it's the most important thing in the world—being with us, sharing life, and adding their own touch of sweetness to everything we do. It doesn’t matter if it’s a grocery run, long evenings on the porch or cuddling up beside us in bed at night.

What’s even more precious is how they love us so unconditionally. No matter the weather, no matter how messy life might get, they’re always there. Thank God they never judge.  What I love most is that they’re simply thrilled to be a part of our lives. They show us every day that sometimes, the best friends are the ones with fur and paws and wagging tails.

So, next time you find yourself at the park or simply enjoying a quiet moment at home, remember how much joy your dog brings to your life. They're not just dogs—they’re a reminder that love is patient, kind, and always there when you need it most. And Kona? The Lord has blessed them with the gifts and abilities to make beautiful, pleasing sounds. Of course, some are more gifted musically than others, with many others unable to carry a tune in a bucket (me included).

The man playing the saxophone stands on one side of the tunnel. He blows into the instrument as he gets some canine help with his performance. The dog, who was likely out for a walk and was passing by the musician, thought it appropriate to stop and offer its best solo performance momentarily.

It's an absolutely hilarious and adorable clip. The dog must have enjoyed what the musician was doing because the animal is clearly trying to match what it’s hearing coming from the man with the saxophone.

Surprisingly, the cat also lends its musical talents to the performance, making this one of the cutest duets you’ve ever witnessed. Dogs are fantastic creatures. Even people who do not currently have a canine are likely to agree with that statement wholeheartedly. They are not called man’s best friend for nothing. Those sweet, furry, four-legged critters are loyal, loving and dependable.

They also require much more work and attention than their mortal enemy, the cat. Dogs don’t use a litter box, so they must be taken out on walks to do their business. And that must be done regardless of whether it’s snowing, raining or unbearably hot and humid outside. Many dogs are not big fans of getting outside and getting some exercise, which can often result in a struggle.

However, a clip posted on social media captures one dog who loves going on walks. As demonstrated in the short video, the tiny dog enjoys walks so much that it would rather walk than eat. When the possibility of a walk is mentioned, the animal reacts in a way you would never have guessed.

Red text in the middle of the screen states that the dog “always picks walks over food” as the animal approaches the camera. A woman behind the camera tells the dog that they have been considering going on a walk. After hearing this, the dog turns its head slightly and then immediately opens its mouth, letting all the food it had recently picked up come tumbling out onto the floor.

It's clear what this dog would rather do. There is no need to convince this dog about the importance of going on walks.

The video begins with two cats – a grey one and a black-and-white kitty – sitting and staring at a wall. Upon the wall, someone is casting a shadow, making their hand appear to be a claw. The black-and-white cat has no idea about the shadowy hand/claw on the wall. It is far too concerned with its own shadow to pay attention to the much larger shadow.

Thankfully, the grey cat is tracking and observing the evil claw shadow. Slowly, the large shadow gets closer and closer to the unsuspecting black-and-white cat. But right before the shadowy figure reaches down and snatches the feline, who is not paying attention, the grey cat leaps into action.

The kitty jumps onto the wall, pulling off a move that looks like it’s straight out of the Matrix films. The cat’s gravity-defying and wall-scaling move is successful. The black-and-white cat remains safe, and the evil shadowy figure quickly retreats.

Karaoke is something a lot of people enjoy doing. It’s an activity that everyone can do. Even if you can’t carry a note in a bucket but are still brave enough and willing to try it, karaoke might be for you. As the woman in the video enthusiastically performs the song, the dog joins in at the right time, nailing its karaoke performance like a pro.

Often, the one person standing in the way of where we are and where we want to be is ourselves. Then, it’s about putting in the time running leading up to the big race. Want to beat your shadow in a hilarious video? Well, that might be a little tough, but it didn’t stop one dog from trying.
