Karen Klein, her husband and their son were taking a day trip to Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon’s North Rim when things went horribly wrong. Their GPS took them on an alternate route and their vehicle became stuck in the mud. With no cell service, Karen decided to walk to the main road for help. But the road was further away then they thought and Karen walked over 26 miles in the woods with no success. Thankfully, her husband was able to regain cell service and call for help. Rescuers saved Karen's husband and son and were able to safely locate her and transport to the hospital.
