A divine connection was made when two complete strangers were sitting next to each other on their flight to Raleigh. Samantha Snipes was trying to leave town to get away from an abusive relationship. She was 8-months pregnant and scared because she missed her connecting flight. Her emotions were all over the place, but thankfully she was able to book another flight to get away.
Still, Samantha was very anxious and nervous when she boarded the plane. And Temple Phipps, the lady who she sat next to noticed how nervous she was. She asked her what was wrong and Samantha told her everything. She also included that she was looking for someone to adopt her baby.
Temple thought that her situation was such a coincidence because she'd been really wanting to adopt a baby, but adoption agencies were turning her down because she is a divorcee. The two women connected almost immediately and they exchanged numbers when they parted ways. But that was not the last time they saw each other.
Samantha was still in Raleigh when she gave birth to her baby boy. He was born just three days after she met Temple and Temple was one of the first people she called when she was in the hospital. She asked if Temple wanted to come see her and the baby in the hospital. Of course, Temple went to visit them, but she did not expect what happened next.
After seeing Temple hold the baby boy, she asked if Temple wanted to be his mother. That was an offer Temple could not turn down. She not only developed a connection with the baby, but she and Samantha became family too. What an incredible story!
I've seen a lot of different a cappella performances over the years, but this group of young men truly outdid themselves. The UC Men's Octet recently came together to perform at a showcase at the University of California, Berkeley.
At first, I thought it was going to be a regular number but I had no idea I would be laughing so much through the entire thing. From the very first note, I knew that this was going to be super entertaining and I was not wrong. Just watch as the men go through an assortment of hilarious songs mixed with even funnier choreography.
I know it must've taken a lot of time and effort to put all of this together but they pulled it off perfectly. Not to mention the talented voices on all of these men. What an unforgettable number!
The B-Positive Choir is the official choir of the NHS Blood and Transplant department. These amazing people have made it their mission to encourage others to donate blood. Everyone in the choir either suffers from Sickle Cell or they have loved ones that suffer from Sickle Cell so they all know the importance of blood donation.
Today, this inspiring choir is taking their vocal skills and message all the way to the Britian's Got Talent stage. And their powerful rendition of 'Rise Up' will truly blow you away. Even the crowd starts clapping along with this incredible performance.
There is so much talent and soul in this song that it's nearly impossible not to smile as this group. And the judges feel the exact same way. I'm so glad The B-Positive Choir is moving on to the next round. Who is excited to see what they do next?

It’s truly a heartwarming moment when this son asked Dad to be his best man in the sweetest way. I don’t know about you but I am a total sucker for emotional father-son moments. And this son asking his dad to be his best man tugs at all of my heartstrings.
These parents took the long trip from Ohio to Florida to visit their son and their soon to be daughter-in-law. They had been traveling for days to see their loved ones and were thrilled to finally be able to spend some quality with their son. They arrived in Florida on their son’s birthday, but this couple didn’t realize they were the ones in for a surprise gift.
This sweet son had been planning to ask his dad to be his best man at the upcoming wedding. So he put together the most thoughtful gift for his father. He made a photo book of the great moments the two of them shared together. The album included things like favorite trips and vacations to goofy photos from childhood. His dad was so moved by the images, but it was when he got to the very last page that tears started flowing.
At the end of the book this caring son asked his dad to stand by his side on his wedding day as his best man. Of course this dad said yes. But his reaction is what you can’t miss. Your heart will be so very full when you see this incredible family moment.
This woman in the USA was so excited to she her new nephew that was born in Australia. So after the baby was born, her brother and his wife gave her a Skype video call to introduce their newest addition.
Just watch as the couple sits in the hospital and this new momma holds her baby boy. Auntie is so over the moon to meet this sweet baby but the surprise is just getting started. The couple starts to ask what the woman thinks about 2 baby names they have. Of course, she says that she likes them both. That's when another baby comes into the picture and they introduce her second nephew. The entire pregnancy they had hid that they were actually expecting twins.
Now the big reveal is here and this aunt's reaction is so amazing. I just love how shocked and excited she is all at the same time. They definitely did a great job of keeping this secret. But I'm sure they're relieved that it's out. Congratulations to the new family!
When Sascha Williams first stepped on the Britain's Got Talent stage, he didn't even seem excited. The judges tried to help him by asking some intro questions but Sascha didn't really have an answer to anything.
In fact, everyone was thinking this was going to be a boring audition. But once the music came on, Sascha turned into a different person and his incredible acrobatic act stunned everyone. He hopped up onto a platform where he started to balance on all sorts of wobbly objects. His assistant continued to throw more and more items his way until Sascha pulled off the seemingly impossible stunt.
Just look at everyone in the audience covering their mouths out of sheer shock. I can't believe how talented this young man is. This just goes to show that you can't judge a book by it's cover. Looking forward to seeing what Sascha brings to his next performance.
10-year-old Calum Courtney had some big shoes to fill when he took on a iconic Michael Jackson song for his audition. Just watch as he steps on the Britain's Got Talent stage to perform 'Who's Loving You' from Michael Jackson.
As soon as he let out that first note, you could tell this one was going to be good. Calum has such soul and his voice is truly so good for someone his age. After the song, Calum earned one of the biggest reactions from the crowd and all the judges were definitely impressed. He even earned a thumbs up and a yes from Simon. That isn't easy to pull off.
With all of the excitement, Calum couldn't help but let out some happy tears. I'm so glad this little boy is moving on to the next round and I can't wait to see what he does next!

This video is about a dramatic experience that I had during and after the showing of Mel Gibson's controversial, but highly rated Passion of the Christ movie. It has been 10 years since I have seen the movie; nevertheless, I thought it was worthwhile to share my movie going experience. My deepest wish is that I hope that this testimony will inspire you and move you to cherish even more than you have before the tremendous sacrifice that the Lord had made for us. If you were affected by Mel Gibson's Passion of the Christ movie please share your feelings in the comment section. Thank You!
On New Years Eve, Oklahoma City firefighters responded to an 'active childbirth' call. When they arrived, a woman was having premature twins and it was quite a stressful event to deliver the babies.
One firefighter said that giving compressions to a child that small was very intimidating but because of their brave actions, the twins made it through. The firefighters even traveled on the ambulance with the babies until they reached the hospital.
It's been a few months now and the twins are almost ready to leave the NICU. The Oklahoma City firefighters wanted to pay these unforgettable babies a visit and they even got to hold the twins. Thank goodness for these heroes!
Whenever Kaoma Chende sings, I am in awe of his talent. He always delivers the most incredible worship performances and today is no different. Just listen as he sings an amazing rendition of the hymn 'Stand In Awe Of You.'
I haven't heard this one in so long and Kaoma truly puts his all into the performance. And the most incredible part is that Kaoma is singing each harmony all by himself. When all of his harmonies blend together, there's no doubt that Kaoma has a God-given talent.
I'm so glad that he's using that talent to give praise to His name. There's nothing like a good worship song to lift your hands and give praise to the Lord. Who else is joining their voices in song?
9-year-old Emanne truly has a voice like no other. Her anointed voice is like nothing I've ever heard before.
Today, Emanne is performing on the Little Big Shots stage and it's absolutely amazing. Just listen as she steps up to the microphone for an incredible opera performance. And when she hits those high notes, I was truly in awe. There is so much talent in this young girl and I'm just glad that she's sharing her gift with the world.
She is singing the words of the song so confidently. It is hard to believe that she is so young. If she is this good now, imagine how she will be in a couple of years. What do you think of Emanne's performance?
There's no doubt that the DMU Gospel Choir is a group of happy and enthusiastic people. As soon as they step on stage for their Britain's Got Talent audition, everyone is all smiles. This choir includes people ranging in age from 16 to 55 and every single one of them shares the same passion for gospel music.
Just watch as they perform a uplifting rendition of 'O Happy Day' that has everyone on their feet. Their energy is truly contagious and it's amazing to watch their performance. The crowd starts to sing along and even the judges have to get up and clap for these talented performers.
This group definitely brought something special to their audition and I'm so glad that we get to see them again. Who else is looking forward to their next time on stage?
When the kind people at Hope For Paws received a call about a dog living on the railroad tracks, they immediately sought to bring the pup in. This is an extremely dangerous living situation and they wanted to make sure the dog was safe.
At first, they tried to lure her with food, but that didn't work. As time went on, the dog became more and more anxious and it was harder to bring her in. Finally, they were able to get her into a humane trap but this scared dog bit through the snare pole trying to escape and it caused lots of bleeding. They were able to bring this dog in to safety and give her the love and care that she truly needed.
Tweedy, as they named her, suffered from a number of ailments and needed surgery. But now, Tweedy is living in a foster home and getting tons of attention and love. What a drastic difference. I'm so thankful for the amazing rescuers at Hope For Paws.
Having a baby born premature is never easy. One the mother is discharged from the hospital, normally the baby has to stay there for a while. That means a new mom must leave her newborn, at least for a little bit. That has to be extremely difficult.
Hospitals know that both mom and baby will be missing each other while they are apart so they teamed up with music therapists for a special project. The music therapists work with parents and help them record their voices so that babies can hear their parent's voices.
It can be a song or a bedtime story, anything that would provide a newborn some much-needed comfort. This is such an amazing initiative and I know that it's creating a lifelong bond between mother and child. What a great idea!
As we Christians navigate the world, it's no surprise that questions arise from time to time. Some of these topics can be hotly debated or difficult to discuss, such as is God ever pleased when a church shuts down?
This is an interesting question and it is the topic that Pastor Todd Wagner from Watermark Community Church is discussing today. First, Pastor Todd opens the Bible and goes over the actual definition of a church. He points out there there are many places that call themselves churches but some of them aren't actually putting the fire in people's hearts for the Lord.
I love how he is able to take tough topics and break them down into words that we can all understand. This in-depth look into scripture will truly open your eyes to this topic. What do you think of Pastor Todd's discussion?
10-year-old Bodi lost his mother when he was just six years old. I know that loss must've been especially difficult for a little boy, but today he is putting all that pain into song. Bodi is auditioning for The Voice Kids and it's absolutely touching.
Just watch as he steps out on stage and starts to sing 'Fix You' by Coldplay during the blind auditions. Not only is Bodi extemely talented, but he is dedicated this performance to his mother's memory. The judges knew that they were listening to something special and they just had to turn around and see the person behind that voice.
Bodi is so brave for sharing his story and then stepping on stage to follow his dreams. I'm so glad that he is moving on to the next round and we can hear more from the talented young boy.
It was a terrifying moment when a dance studio in New Jersey caught fire. When the fire broke out, a dance class was in session with a group of young girls in attendance.
The blaze quickly overtook the studio and the students needed to get out and escape quickly. They moved to the balcony where bystanders were waiting with ladders and arms to catch them. One by one, these scared girls climbed down the balcony and fell into the arms of waiting strangers.
I know this must've been a very scary moment for everyone involved but I'm so glad that these strangers came together to save everyone. Fires can spread quickly and are extremely dangerous.
This situation could've ended very differently, but thankfully all of the girls were able to escape unharmed. Firefighters arrived and worked all night to put out the blaze. I know God was with everyone that day.
