Recently, a huge accident happened at a home and the police were called. And as one of the officers was getting out of his car to inspect the scene, something unexpected happened.
Every moment of it was caught on video from the dash camera footage of an officer’s car. An unlicensed driver crashed an SUV into someone's house so several officers were dispatched to answer the call. I have no idea how something like this was possible. They drove right into the front of the house! It was a complete mess when the officers arrived.
Apparently, the driver crashed the SUV right into a gas line of the house and the gas from the pipes was quickly filling up the house. But no one knew until a huge explosion happened. One of the police officers had just arrived at the scene when he got out of his car and began walking towards the house to see what was going on. And right when he stepped on the lawn, the house blew up into a fiery explosion.
The officer tried to run in the opposite direction as quickly as he could. The force threw him on to the ground but thankfully, he was not badly injured. Had he been there a second earlier, things could have been a lot worse!
Creation declares the majesty of the creator, as illustrated in this account of a backcountry hike to the lake at the headwaters of the North Fork of the Big Lost River.
When The Giang Brothers stepped on to the stage of Britain's Got Talent, I don't think anyone was prepared for what was about to happen. The brothers are from Vietnam and there is even a similar talent show there but they wanted to audition for Britain's Got Talent because it is the biggest one in the world.
Just watch as one brother steps onto a small platform and lifts up the other brother right above his head. That is just the start of this incredible acrobatic routine that truly showcases their strength. I was so nervous as they continued to lift each other into the most jaw-dropping positions. I think the judges were just as nervous as I was because I noticed some of them started to clutch hands.
I can't get over how much time and practice it must take to get this good. It's obvious that everyone was impressed. And if this is what these brothers did for their first audition, I can't imagine what their next performance will be like.
Did you ever think that it is possible for your favorite food to change your life? I never considered it until I heard how a woman eats potato chips every day and it saved her life.
Kristine loved potato chips, especially the Ruffles brand. She had been eating them every day for the past 20 years and she never goes a day without them. Her husband even buys them for her in bulk. And just when she thought she could not love them any more, she now has a greater appreciation for her favorite snack.
One day, she was routinely snacking away at a bag of Ruffles potato chips when something unusual happened. She guesses that she did not chew well enough, but a piece of the chip stabbed her tonsil. Kristine felt a sharp pain in the back of her throat. It was excruciating and she never felt something like that before. She had her husband look at the back of her throat with a flashlight and that is when he saw something alarming.
After going to a doctor, Kristine got an unexpected diagnosis. She found out that she had throat cancer from smoking cigarettes for over 30 years. Now, Kristine is being treated for cancer and is expected to completely recover from cancer.
Thank God she found out about her health. If it was not for her favorite snack, she probably would have never known!
Country music singer Luke Bryan may be a big star now, but he still remembers his roots. Recently, he was performing at a VIP concert in in Atlanta, Georgia when he spotted a familiar face in the crowd.
Luke stopped the entire concert and walked off the stage when he recognized his old next door neighbor. It was such a sweet moment when he went right up to her and gave her the biggest hug. I know it must've meant so much to this woman to see Luke grow into an amazing country artist and still remember where he came from.
I'm so glad this precious moment was all caught on camera. It truly makes me happy to see stars interacting with their fans. Luke Bryan definitely earned some brownie points in my book. What about you?
Megan Pohlmann is a nurse with a rare condition called mirror-touch synesthesia. Less than two percent of people have this neurological condition that allows someone to feel another person's physical and emotional pain.
Megan uses all of this to give her patient's the very best care. Because she knows the emotions and, to some extent, the pain, she can truly emphasize and be a patient advocate. But living with MTS isn't always easy. For instance, when Megan is in a public setting such as a funeral, there can be a number of different emotions happening at once.
It can be overwhelming and it's definitely taken her years to figure out how to manage this condition. Now, she's looking at MTS as a positive and uses it every day to better perform her job. What a fascinating and inspiring woman.
The Rockettes have long been famous for their amazing dance moves and performances. These talented dancers have such skill and grace that it barely looks like they are putting forth any effort when we all know it's so difficult.
Today, these incredible dancers are leaving us in awe again with this optical illusion number. They are all dressed as toy soldiers and stand in a single file line. Then, one by one, like dominos, they slowly fall to the ground. I have no clue how they are able to move like that. It has to take so much strength to hold yourself in that position. And then they all pop right up like it was nothing.
I had to watch this one a couple of times because I was in such disbelief. I keep trying to figure out the moves but I would definitely break something if I tried this. Who else has their mind blown right now?
This motorcyclist nearly died in a collision and it was all caught on his dashcam. He was driving down the street when an SUV pulled out in front of him. The motorcyclist had to quickly swerve to avoid a T-Bone accident.
The driver of the other vehicle immediately stopped and ran out of his car to check on the motorcyclist. The driver was so concerned about him and kept apologizing. After a few deep breaths, the motorcyclist was able to compose himself and let the driver know that he was going faster than he should've been anyways. It was definitely a close call but, ultimately, everyone came out perfectly fine.
I know it probably shook both drivers up but this is a great reminder to obey all traffic signs and always drive the speed limit. Life can change in an instant and not every driver is as caring as the man in the SUV. Some people would've sped off without thinking about the motorcyclist. I'm so glad that he did stop and they were able to calm down together. But what a nerve-wrecking moment!
The Long Island Vegetable Orchestra is not your ordinary assembly of musicians. These talented artists don't play standard instruments, they actually play music on various types of vegetables. There's everything from the squash horn to carrot flutes.
And when you hear how all of these unique instruments blend together, you will be amazed. Just listen as they perform 'The Star-Spangled Banner.' I guarantee you've never heard it like this. It's obvious this group has put a lot of time and effort into their instruments and their music.
I just can't believe all of the sound is coming from vegetables. I would have no idea if I wasn't seeing it for myself. What about you? Have you ever seen or played a unqiue instrument? I would love to see more performances like this one!
It was an incredible day when two brothers rescued an elderly woman whose vehicle was sinking in a body of water. Seth and his brother, Matt was traveling home when they saw a sinking vehicle.
A 61-year-old lady was traveling ahead of Seth and Matt when she drove through a puddle and lost control of her vehicle. She ended up sliding into a portion of the highway that was flooded with water. The waters were deep and her car started sinking.
Thankfully, she was able to get out of her vehicle through the passenger window and climb onto the roof. The brothers did not see her slide but as they approached that end of the highway, they noticed that the vehicle was slowly sinking. They assumed that someone probably escaped the vehicle, but they wanted to be sure they no one was trapped. So they turned off their truck so that they can hear if anyone was screaming for help. And sure enough, they heard a voice coming from the vehicle, crying out in distress.
By this time, the vehicle was almost fully submerged with the water rising up to the windows of the car. That is when Seth dove into the body of 30-degree water to swim to the car and help. Matt turned the truck back on so that the headlights would light the way for Seth. And Seth was able to rescue the lady from the roof and helped her swim to their truck. They gave her a warm blanket and even drove her home safely. Thank God these kind men were there to help!
As our society continues to advance, we become more and more dependent on technology. Sometimes, this is a great thing but other times it can become a distraction and take us away from living the life that's all around us.
This teacher and her husband were reminded of this one evening and she sat and graded papers. The topic of the paper what 'What I Would Like To Be In This Modern World' and one student's report stopped this woman in the middle of grading. She began to read the words out loud to her husband and a young boy stated that he wanted to be a smartphone. He chose this device because it got all of his parent's attention, even when he was around.
They were always looking at their phone and said that they love them so much that they don't even realize he's around sometimes. Both parents started to tear up at this powerful words but what really hit them hard was when their realized it was their own son that wrote the paper.
This is such an important reminder to put down our phones and really live the way God intended. There is so much beauty in the world around us and it's just waiting to be seen.
When we hear about child brides, our minds normally go to young women overseas. But this terrifying practice happens right here in the United States. Ashley Duncan and Holly Rehder were both married at the age of 15 in Missouri, where it is legal with the consent of a parent.
Both women became pregnant and gave birth at a very young age. Holly is now a state legislator and she's hoping to bring stricter laws to help prevent marriage at such a young age. I am in complete shock that things like this can happen right in our own backyard.
Marriage is a lifelong commitment and most teens are not ready for this covenant. Both women have since divorced, but they are speaking up now to bring awareness to this pressing issue. I'm so glad they are brave enough to shed light on child marriage. What courage and strength!
Even though this cat may be indoors, he still has his predatory senses. Just watch as he stares out the window before spotting something that caught his eye. There was a squirrel on the outside window sill that didn't have a care in the world.
That's when the cat decided to pounce and tried to scare the squirrel from the inside. He tapped his paw and then jumped onto the sill but there was absolutely no reaction. The squirrel acted like he never even heard or saw the cat. I thought for sure the squirrel was going bolt as soon as he heard a loud noise or saw the cat, but I was completely wrong. He just keeps on munching on his treat like nothing has happened.
Hopefully, this squirrel isn't a routine visitor because I can definitely see him driving the cat completely crazy. Does you cat ever do anything like this?

Ben Taylor was immediately skeptical when he pulled up a Facebook message from a man in Liberia asking for money. He had heard of these types of scams before and had a strong dislike for them and how easily people can fall for these games. But Ben was curious, so he responded to the message asking how he could help. That's when he started a conversation with Joel, a man in Africa.
Ben made a proposal to Joel. He said he would pay him to send pictures of the sunset in his country using his phone. Much to his surprise, Joel sent back a few blurry photos. That's when Ben decided to go out on a whim and send Joel a camera with instructions on how to take better photos. Joel came back with photos of his village in Liberia, but Ben was taken aback over the poor conditions.
Ben decided to help Joel even more and turned all of the photos into a book and sell copies. He told Joel that he would send him half of the proceeds from the sales. The photo book sales went crazy and earned over $13,000 from buyers all over the country. Ben stuck to his word and gave Joel half of the sales but he wanted to use the other half to help out Joel's village. This is such an amazing story of an unlikely friendship with the best ending.
For Adam Ladell, every single day can be a struggle. Adam suffers from Tourette's Syndrome and knows what a challenge it can be just to attend school.
Sometimes, you want to work and stay quiet but he is overcome with a need to shout something out. Adam says that is can be embarrassing and awkward, especially when he's out in public. But Adam wants to be known for his singing and not his Tourette's.
When he sings, his tics completely go away. Today, Adam is stepping onto The Voice Australia stage and he's following his dream of singing. Just listen as he beautifully performs 'Trouble' and all of the judges are in awe. One by one, every single one of them turned around to see the face behind that amazing voice.
What an incredible way to overcome the struggles of his life. I'm so glad that he's being recognized for his talent.
