When we are children, the world seems a lot less scary. We are more open to new things and we love making new friends. If you’ve ever raised or been around a toddler, you know just how easily they can find a best friend on the playground or at daycare. It seems like with just a few sentences, young people can become friends. But as the years go by, it becomes harder and harder to make new friends. We start to get shy, embarrassed or distracted by the world around us.
The people at the Campaign To End Loneliness found that over half of adults in the UK say it’s been a long time since they made a new friend or connection. At a recent trip to a coffee shop, you can see numerous adults sitting by themselves. So the researchers decided to send in the experts to answer the question ‘Have we forgotten how to make friends?’ That’s when these children show up and do not hesitate to start a conversation. They immediately start to ask all kinds of questions and build a relationship with these previously guarded people.
Children are the perfect example of not hesitating to start something new and connecting with those around them. And when these adults start opening up, you can truly see the change in their personality. What a great reminder that when we take a chance, it can turn into a beautiful thing. We should all be a little bit more childlike these days. What do you think?

It doesn’t get much better than hearing a classic song from ‘The King Of Rock And Roll’ Elvis Presley. During his time on Earth, Elvis left a lasting musical legacy. He gave us some of the most famous songs that have truly stood the test of time. We can all name at least 1 Elvis tune and artists still cover his music to this day.
Today, we get to hear a very special rendition of ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’ and it’s absolutely incredible. Talented musician Daniel Jang plays this classic tune on the violin and his cover truly gives the song a whole new feel and it’s so amazing. It’s obvious this young man has so much talent and it all comes through with this beautiful performance.
It’s not everyday that we get to see or hear an Elvis cover that is this good. I’m sure this took Daniel a lot of time and practice to perfect, but he pulls it off seamlessly. Every single note is spot on and it looks completely effortless. I love hearing unique covers of well-known songs and how they can completely transform the feeling. I hope we get to hear more violin performances from Daniel Jang in the future. What did you think of this Elvis Presley violin number?
There is no doubt that animals are truly a gift from God. He has placed creatures all over this Earth and some are just absolutely breathtaking. I do not think it gets any more majestic than the elephant. These incredible animals may look big and scary sometimes, but most of them have a heart of gold. But, when you are traveling in an area with wild animals, you never know what is going to happen.
Animals can be completely unpredictable and that's exactly what happened in this case of this elephant. Guests at the Mhondoro Lodge in South Africe were in for the surprise of their lives while they were relaxing in the hotel pool. Tour guide Ivan Ueckermann spotted an elephant herd approaching the hotel, so he decided to grab his camera and start recording the moment. He had no clue that it was going to be such a memorable time. Just watch as a curious elephant walks right up to the pool and puts his trunk in to get a drink. There’s even guests in the water at the time.
I can’t imagine what it’s like to come face to face with these incredible creatures but I bet it’s a memory that none of these guests will ever forget. I can’t believe someone was able to film this entire encounter. It just goes to show that you never know what it going to happen in the wild. What a sight to behod. Aren’t all of God’s creatures truly amazing?
‘What Would You Do?’ is a hidden camera show hosted by John Quiñones that puts strangers in difficult circumstances and records how they react. The reactions can range from person to person but it's always interesting to watch and see what they do or say. The dilemmas are always relevant to the current times and sometimes, they have actually happened in real life.
This particular episode was inspired right from the headlines. Recently, a mother and father took their adult son to court to try and force him out of their house where he lived rent-free. Today, this scenario is played out at a local restaurant with a set of actors playing the parts of the parents and son.
This mother and father think that it’s time for the 30-year-old to move out and they’re letting him know over lunch. The son’s reaction is very strong and other customers in the restaurant can’t help but take notice. But it’s when the parents exit that the man’s true feelings really come out and he remarks to the strangers that he wants to continue living for free and coasting off of his parents. The patron’s reactions range from giving the young man life advice to completely agreeing with the parents that it’s time to move out.
This is definitely a hotly debated topic and it’s really interesting to see it play out on screen. What did you think of this young man’s stance on living at home? What would you have done in this situation?

When we follow these little moments in life, it can sometimes lead to the most incredible experiences. And that’s exactly what happened to this man while he was enjoying a simple lunch.
Bill Hart is a motivational speaker who travels the country speaking on the topic of mortgages and the real estate industry. Bill was with a friend at California Pizza Kitchen when he noticed an elderly woman dining with her daughter and grandkids. That’s when he heard a voice in his head to go over and tell the woman how pretty she looked. A lot of people would’ve ignored this bizarre feeling, but Bill decided to follow that voice. As he was leaving the restaurant, he passed by the woman and kneeled down.
Then, he said, ‘Hey, if nobody else has told you yet today, I just want you to hear from me how lovely you are.” A strange look came over the woman’s face before she told Bill that husband had died a year ago and that is exactly something he would say to her. The two were both overcome with emotion and embraced in the sweetest hug. Bill left the restaurant but he believes that moment came from God and He gave Bill the ‘shoulder tap’ that blessed the woman. These shoulder taps happen in our lives and it’s so important to listen to that voice because you never know where it will lead.

I think by now, we've all seen the viral lip sync challenges going around the Internet. Police departments from all across the country are participating in this cool challenge where they record themselves singing to a song of their choice.
The challenge is pretty simple, police officers will record themselves singing and then they must post the video online. Afterwards, they can also challenge another department to do the same thing.
These videos have been popping up all over the Internet and it seems like each one is getting better than the last. Some departments are even using this opportunity to spread a powerful message, just like the Richmond Police Department in Richmond, Virginia.
This particular lip sync starts off in a classroom, focused on two young girls. A female police officer stands at the front of the room asking for recruits for the department. That’s when the scene changes and we start to hear the beat of Sara Bareilles’ ‘Brave’ begin to play. Then, as each scene changes, we get an inside look at the department and all of the women on the force. We even get to see other groups such as the fire department and Richmond Ambulance Authority.
Then, the video peaks with people of all ages gathered together to dance to this inspiring song. This is such a great message to all of the young girls around the world that they can be whatever they want to be when they grow up. Who else is cheering for this lip sync?
It takes incredible strength and sacrifice to serve in our nation’s military. These men and women truly step up when they are needed and give all of themselves to defend our freedom. But this job isn’t always easy.
Military men and women come face to face with some of the world’s greatest dangers and see some pretty horrific things. Once they return to civilian life, many people are left with some post-traumatic stress disorder, also known as PTSD. It can be hard to adjust to a normal life and routine after being in the military for so long. And there are also memories and images that are difficult to shake.
One option that seems to help lots of veterans is service dogs. Service dogs are trained to help people with disabilities or emotional stress. They can sense when their owner is having issues and they use comforting and stress-relieving techniques to calm the person down. But these incredible animals can cost anywhere from $20,000-30,000 so not everyone has to opportunity to get one.
Rudy is a veteran who served for ten years in the army. He was deployed twice to Iraq. After he returned home, Rudy started suffering from night terrors and depression. He hoped to get a service dog to help, but didn’t expect to get one because of the cost. That’s when his children gave him the ultimate surprise and it left him in tears.
I’m so glad that this serviceman is able to get the help he needs and I know this new dog will be a devoted and loved part of the family.
39-year-old Glennis Grace made quite the impression during her first audition on America’s Got Talent. This single mom is doing whatever it takes to follow her dreams and that includes flying all the way from the Netherlands just for a chance to. This has been a dream of Glennis’ for a very long time, but it was actually her 11-year-old son, Anthony, that encouraged her to take this incredible leap.
Her first performance was an incredible rendition of ‘Run To You’ by Whitney Houston. She easily earned a ‘yes’ from all 4 judges and now Glennis is back on the big stage to try and impress them once again.
This time, Glennis is performing another classic song for a pop icon. Just listen as she effortlessly belts out "Nothing Compares To You" by Prince. She took the advice of judge Mel B and wanted to be original in her performances. Well, it’s safe to say that Glennis definitely made this song her own and it is absolutely incredible.
This woman has a gift for singing and I’m so glad that her son convinced her to share that gift with the world. She may be older than most of the other contestants, but Glennis is giving this performance her all and it definitely shows.
What a great example of never being too old to follow your dreams. Glennis is such an inspiration to mothers all over the world and I hope that we get to see more of this unique performer.
