What a great video to watch as we get ready for Mother’s Day! And what a beautiful reminder that God sees all mothers and their unconditional love that they have for their children.
The video starts off with one mom in a grocery store saying, “Hey, I see you, Mom.” Two other moms join in on this uplifting speech and talk about all of the things that moms take care of. They talk about how moms care for their family in so many ways by cooking meals, going to work, cleaning, planning out their family’s schedules, and all the other things that they seldom hear appreciation for.
Even when moms aren’t physically doing something for their kids, they are still thinking about what’s best for them. Thinking about how their child’s friends are treating them or how they are treating their friends. Or if they are eating their vegetables at their school lunch or respecting their teachers. A mother’s work is never done, but no one could do the work a mom does better than a mom.
And even though moms may feel like the work they do go unnoticed, this video is a sweet reminder that God sees it all. He sees all the ways moms share their love with their children. And it’s a beautiful reflection of how God loves and sees us.
“The God who created life, who not only knows every hair on your head but also knows what you’re going to ask before you even speak a word. A loving parent who intimately knows their children. Sounds an awful lot like a mom, don’t you think?” explain the moms in this video. “I’d say, you’re a beautiful reflection of God’s love, and maybe this is exactly the way you show God to your kids….Yeah, I see you, Mom. I see you. And God, God sees you.”
A cappella singing sensations Pentatonix perform a live rendition of ‘The Sound Of Silence’ on The Jimmy Kimmel Show. This hauntingly beautiful performance showcases the incredible range and talent from these five voices.
“Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence”
Pentatonix formed in 2011, but they shot to worldwide fame after winning the third season of the television show ‘The Sing Off.’ Now, they are households names with viral performances such as ‘Hallelujah’ and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’
Now, Pentatonix is back with a stunning performance of the iconic song, ‘The Sound Of Silence.’ Simon & Garfunkel originally recorded this song in 1964. Since that time, many artists have lent their voices to the tune. One of the most well-known covers comes from the rock band, Disturbed, in 2015. But all of these pale in comparison to this a cappella rendition from these five voices.
When you perform a song a cappella, every single sound that you hear comes from the human voice. There are no instruments or background music. It can take hours of practice to perfect such a difficult arrangement and each note must be performed in a precise manner. But, Pentatonix makes it all seem so easy as they flawlessly belt out these famous lyrics.
I think that this cover is going to be remembered as one of their best. What do you think?
The talented barbershop quartet of New Image performs a rousing rendition of the Hank Williams classic, ‘Hey Good Lookin’.’
This is one of the most famous songs from the legendary musician and these four men certainly do it justice. Without any musical backing, they belt out these iconic lyrics with ease.
“Hey, Hey, Good Lookin’
whatcha got cookin’
How's about cookin' somethin' up with me …
Hey, sweet baby
don't you think maybe
We could find us a brand new recipe”
The origination of this beloved song is actually an interesting story. The song was written and recorded by Hank Williams in 1951. It was supposed to be released by Jimmy Dickens. Hank and Jimmy were good friends and, one day, Hank joked that it was about time that Jimmy had a hit song.
So, in about 20 minutes, Hank Williams wrote ‘Hey Good Lookin’.’ After he was finished, he liked the tune so much that he ended up recording it himself.
The song instantly hit number one on the country charts and spurred countless covers, including prominent artists such as George Jones and Ray Charles. The song was even inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame in 2001.
Now, this barbershop quartet is putting their own spin on the tune and it’s one you don’t want to miss. There’s something about hearing this classic song performed a cappella that truly gives it an entirely new feel. And the men of New Image look like they’re having the time of their lives on stage. Who else loves this song?

Smokey Robinson and Pentatonix are both powerhouse vocal talents. When they combine their voices together, it truly creates an incredible live concert experience.
It’s so amazing to see this timeless performer join forces with the next generation of music. This entire arrangement showcased the best elements of these sensations and I found myself toe-tapping along to the tune.

Best Sellers, the all-female barbershop quartet, cover the famous Frank Sinatra song ‘Come Fly With Me.’
It’s extremely difficult to perform a song without any musical backing, but these talented ladies pull off every note with ease.
“Once I get you up there
Where the air is rarefied
We'll just glide
Starry-eyed
Once I get you up there
I'll be holding you so near
You might hear
All the angels cheer because we're together”
Frank Sinatra continues to be one of the most recognized jazz musician names in the entire world. The popular blue-eyed crooner grabbed hearts in America and later internationally through both a singing career and fame in Hollywood.
Over the years, many artists have covered the songs that Frank made famous. But because his fans are fiercely loyal, so it’s always a risky choice for a performer. The ensemble of Best Sellers had no problem belting out the iconic lyrics of ‘Come Fly Me With Me’ during a performance at the 2019 Barbershop Harmony Society Midwinter Convention in Nashville.
“Weather-wise, it's such a lovely day
Just say those words and we'll feed those birds
Down to Acapulco Bay
It is perfect for a flying honeymoon, they say
Come on fly with me, we'll fly, we'll fly away, we'll fly”
These four women are beyond talented and they selected the perfect arrangement to complement their incredible vocals. This was definitely a unique rendition of the popular Frank Sinatra song and they knocked it out of the park.

This great-grandmother rushed after a fleeing car when her grandbabies were in danger.
It was a frightening situation at a medical center when 69-year-old Nita Coburn pulled up to the entrance. Nita exited her vehicle to help a friend to the door, while her 2 great-grandchildren remained in the backseat. In those few seconds, a man jumped into the car and started to drive away with the children still inside.
Nita recalls the moment saying, “I heard them screaming and I ran to the car. And when I ran to the driver’s side cause I knew my grandbabies were in that car.” She chased after the car without hesitation to save her precious grandchildren. What she didn’t know was that quick-thinking Chance was already working to escape the vehicle with his older sister, Skylar.
