It may seem that those who are the loudest are the ones with all the power. From the mainstream media to the downstream moral decay, the false noise of this world should not discourage the believer from knowing that God is still Ruler over all. And because of Jesus, we can #RiseAboveTheNoise in the way we stand for what is right in God’s sight. "No weapon formed against us shall prosper…” (Isaiah 54:17)
While the world is beckoning us to join in on the hustle and bustle of resolutions, the Word of God calls us to a resolution of heart that seeks spiritual productivity over physical activity. With so much noise around us attempting to drown out God’s voice, it is crucial for the believer to #RiseAboveTheNoise by setting our focus on Jesus.
"Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, 'Where is the promise of His coming?'" 2 Peter 3:3-4
It's time to Rise Above the Noise and witness what we know - Hope of salvation for all who turn to the cross and receive the Savior of the Word Jesus Christ. Fix your eyes heavenward and do not grow weary.
As Easter is upon us, the flowers bloom as the Springtime landscape comes to life.
Yet, with the beauty of what’s around us, oh how America has become fixated on death.
Today - yes even today - amongst this culture of death, we can Rise Above the Noise and be assured by His word in 2 Timothy 1:10, "Death has been defeated."
We invite you to watch the special Easter edition of Rise Above the Noise from Soldiers for Faith.

Tech experts sit down with Diane Sawyer to discuss why it’s so hard to put your phone down.
In this day and age, almost everyone has a smartphone and iPhones are one of the most popular models. While these devices can be incredibly handy and resourceful, they also open us up to many companies and their sneaky advertising tactics.
If you’ve noticed, it’s becoming more and more difficult for individuals to limit their screen time. From grown adults to children, our phones are tracking our habits to keep us coming back for more.
Journalist Diane Sawyer met with experts Matt Mayberry and Dalton Combs who shared some of the practices that companies intentionally use to make sure we stay glued to our phones. First, when you visit a social media site, the content never ends.
You can keep scrolling and more content will appear. “We never get that stopping cue. We never get the signal saying I’ve probably been on Twitter long enough now. And by design.” Some advertisers will go to great lengths to make sure that we are clicking on their ads.
The experts explain this tricky initiative. “Someone will design an ad that looks like it’s a fly on your screen or a single piece of hair. And you’ll swipe away the piece of hair, but what you’re actually doing is interacting with the ad and you’ve now earned the advertisers money.” All of this is in addition to storing data on our demographics for more targeted advertisements.
Now that you know more detail about some of the practices, will it change your smart phone habits?
It was a heartwarming moment captured on camera when this dad falls to the ground after spotting his Navy daughter at church.
It’s never easy when a loved one is serving in the military. But this is the reality that many families in our nation must deal with every single day. They are separated for their family member and must navigate the world without them for an extended time period. This means celebrating births, birthdays, holidays and more without a loved one by your side.
Even though we are all so proud of what these brave men and women do for our country, there is still a piece of our heart that aches for them to return home.
Jerome Mondy hasn’t seen his daughter in over two years. Jadiah serves in the United States Navy and she has been stationed overseas at a base in Japan. She wasn’t supposed to be home for another week, but Jadiah’s brother and mother decided to surprise their father in a very special way.
While he was dancing on stage at Divine Faith Ministries International, Jadiah snuck up from the side stage and started to dance right beside him. Jerome was so overcome with shock and joy that he fell to the ground. Then, he stood back up and gave Jadiah the biggest embrace.
You can truly feel the love and excitement coming from this family and it’s such a special moment between father and daughter. What a beautiful memory to be captured on camera. Welcome home, Jadiah!
