'Losing You' Mass Anthem Song For Anyone Losing A Loved One

The talented trio of Mass Anthem performs a touching song for anyone losing a loved one called ‘Losing You.’ Diseases such as Alzheimer’s and dementia are so heartbreaking. These terrible conditions rob people of their memories. Our memories are what make up who we truly are and it is devastating to have those slip away. It can be even harder to watch a loved one battle this horrible disease. “No one can prepare you for a moment like this. These things don’t come easy Very few of them make sense. How do I live when I know I’m going to lose you? But I haven’t lost you yet. I haven’t lost you yet.” Mass Anthem is a Christian band comprised of brothers Chad and Tyler Sowards and Joey Atansio. Chad and Tyler wrote ‘Losing You’ in response to their beloved grandfather’s dementia. Their sister, Kelsey wrote about the awful disease on Facebook saying, “It has stolen every bit of what made him who he was to us all his life. Even though he can’t remember, recognize or talk to us anymore, we remember you Grampie. We remember everything that you were to us…” “How am I supposed to move on When you’re still around Yeah we’re close to the end But don’t know when this will end.” It is so hard to watch our loved ones slip away but it is especially hard watching from the outside and feeling helpless the entire time. Hopefully, these touching words will provide comfort to anyone walking this difficult path.

Adoption PSA Shows Sweet Moment Teen Becomes A Part Of The Family

In a viral ad about adoption, this young boy finally makes the tearful discovery that he is truly part of the family. Foster children sometimes find it difficult to connect with a family. When they have been placed in multiple different homes, it becomes hard to let your guard down and let someone else into your heart. Teens, especially, may have been placed with many families over the years without a successful adoption. This heartwarming ad for AdoptUSKids introduces us to Jason. As he enters a new home, he takes notice of the family pictures on the wall. At first, he seems to be a bit of an outsider, but the supportive family lovingly welcomes him with open arms. One day, as he walks inside, he discovers that the family photos have been updated and now include pictures of him. It was a simple gesture that made a huge impact on Jason. He immediately gives his mom a huge of thanks and appreciation. AdoptUSKids reminds us “There are over 125,000 children in the U.S. foster care system currently waiting to be adopted. But teens have lower adoption rates and often wait twice as long to be adopted as younger children.” Many families look for newborns or smaller children. But many older children are waiting for their perfect match too. This is such a sweet reminder that there is so much we can give to these children and even more that they give to us. Who else is wiping away a tear right now?

Violin Cover Of 'Hallelujah' From Tyler Butler-Figueroa

America’s Got Talent alumni Tyler Butler-Figueroa performs a brilliant violin cover of ‘Hallelujah.’ We first met this talented young man when he auditioned for the fourteenth season of America’s Got Talent. I think the whole world’s heart melted when they heard his touching backstory and watched his incredible performance. Tyler started to play the violin at the age 7, after he nearly lost his life to cancer. His treatments caused him to lose his hair and he immediately became a target for bullies. But music, and the violin, gave Tyler an outlet and he started to gain confidence and come out of his shell. His performance of ‘Stronger’ from Kelly Clarkson led judge Simon Cowell to press the golden buzzer. Tyler made it all to the finals with his impressive violin performances getting better and better each week. Now, he’s sharing a special performance that is sure to be another hit. Leonard Cohen’s rendition of ‘Hallelujah’ is one of the most popular songs of all time. The powerful song was originally released in 1984, but it wasn’t until Jeff Buckley recorded his own version in 1994 that the song really started to gain momentum. Now, Tyler is performing his own instrumental version of the modern day classic and it is simply stunning. The violin truly gives this song an entirely new feel and you can definitely see how talented this young artist really is. Time after time, Tyler reminds us all why he earned that initial golden buzzer on AGT. Don’t you agree?

Women's Choir Sings A Cappella Rendition Of 'You Say' From Lauren Daigle

The talented voices of Noteworthy come together for an a cappella performance of ‘You Say.’ In 2018, this song became a smash hit for Christian artist Lauren Daigle and now these 9 anointed vocalists are belting out the powerful lyrics. “I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I'm not enough Every single lie that tells me I will never measure up Am I more than just the sum of every high and every low Remind me once again just who I am because I need to know” Noteworthy is comprised of 9 female choir members. Together, this group has a long list of achievements. On their website, it lists many of these accomplishments. “In 2007, Noteworthy was crowned champion of the prestigious International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA), becoming only the 2nd all-female ensemble to win the competition in it’s near 35-year history. Noteworthy has since appeared on NBC’s hit show The Sing-Off, released 7 albums, and become a YouTube sensation with over 70 million views and counting. Above all, Noteworthy strives to empower women & young people to discover their own unique identities & divine nature through the power of vocal music.” Today, they are lending their voices to one of the most popular worship songs of the modern era and it’s absolutely beautiful. “You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing You say I am strong when I think I am weak And you say I am held when I am falling short And when I don't belong, oh You say I am Yours” There is no doubt that these women are using their God-given talents to praise His Name. And what a glorious sound to hear, indeed!

In the lane, snow is glistening A beautiful sight We're happy tonight Walking in a winter wonderland” 22-year-old Hannah Kerr is a rising star in the Christian music world. Since releasing her debut album in 2016, Hannah has continued to share God’s message through inspiring worship music like ‘Split The Sea’ and ‘Warrior.’ Today, she’s helping us all get in the Christmas spirit with her beautiful rendition of ‘Winter Wonderland.’ Just listen as she sings these beloved lyrics amongst a backdrop of smiling children gearing up for the holidays. “In the meadow we can build a snowman We'll pretend that he is Parson Brown He'll say, Are you married? We'll say, No man But you can do the job while you're in town” Christmas is about celebrating the birth of our Savior and Hannah is ushering in the season in such an incredible way. Luke 2:11-14 “11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” 13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

Women Of Country Music Perform Incredible Medley Of Hits

Legendary women of country music share the stage for an incredible medley of hits at the 2019 Country Music Association Awards. This year, the awards show decided to honor the women that make up country music. Their impact on the industry has not gone unnoticed and it was time for a musical display of these amazing creators. That’s when an assembly of some of the most iconic name in country came together for one monumental performance. Terri Clark, Sara Evans, Crystal Gayle, The Highwomen, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Jennifer Nettles, Dolly Parton, Tanya Tucker, Carrie Underwood and Gretchen Wilson all stepped on stage for a performance of a lifetime. Just listen as these talented voices belt out hits such as “Those Memories Of You” and “Born To Fly.” There was even a special tribute to Loretta Lynn, who looked on from the front row as her hit “You’re Lookin’ at Country” played. It’s such an incredible moment to watch the women of country past and present come together in solidarity. It is so important that women lift each other up instead of tearing one another down. Throughout the evening, many women took away top honors such as Maren Morris winning Album of the Year for Girl and New Artist of the Year winner Ashley McBryde. Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild even remarked, “You’re looking at the future of country music right here” after the ensemble performance of ‘Girl Crush.’ What an amazing night of music and community for the entire country crowd!

'Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays' From David Archuleta

American Idol alum David Archuleta rings in the Christmas season with an upbeat rendition of ‘Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays.’ This holiday song never fails to put us in the Christmas spirit and this performance is no exception. “Merry Christmas (yeah) Merry Christmas (Merry Christmas) Merry Christmas Happy Holidays” David Archuleta rose to fame as a contestant on the seventh season of American Idol. He was just 16 years old when he placed second in the competition. Since that time, he’s continued to shine with songs such as ‘Crush’ and covers of ‘The Prayer’ and ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me.’ Now, he’s helping everyone kick off their Christmas with a positive attitude as he shares his official music video for ‘Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays.’ “Cause everybody knows It's Christmas time and All the kids will see The gifts under the tree It's the best time of year for the family” Christmas is truly the most beautiful time of the year. We gather with our family and celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. It is amazing to think that a little baby born in a stable would go on to save us all. As the Christmas season gets underway, let us always remember the real reason for the season. Isaiah 9:6 “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

1 Chronicles 29:10-12
“Therefore David blessed the Lord before all the assembly and said, Be praised, adored, and thanked, O Lord, the God of Israel our [forefather], forever and ever.

11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and the earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and Yours it is to be exalted as Head over all.

12 Both riches and honor come from You, and You reign over all. In Your hands are power and might; in Your hands it is to make great and to give strength to all.”
