Passengers arriving to London Heathrow airport when in for a Christmas surprise when this airline choir burst into song. Christmas time is all about spending time with our loved ones to celebrate the birth of our Savior. But for many of us, in order to see our family and friends, we must travel. This means that the holiday season can be a very busy time for transportation hubs such as airports. To help alleviate some of the stress, one airline described to give their passengers a well-deserved Christmas treat. British Airways is known for their viral videos such as a flash mob on a plane and impromptu ballet performance. Today, the airline has gathered some of their most talented crew members to surprise guests. As they departed from the plane and went to gather their belongings at baggage claim, one flight attendant started to sing ‘Deck The Halls.’ Then, one by one, more and more airline employees gathered in on the special serenade. But wait, this was not just any ordinary rendition of ‘Deck The Halls.’ This was an original version with lyrics created just for these unsuspecting travelers. From warm holiday wishes to safe travels, the lyrics are custom to the grateful audience. As the choir belts out the words, you can see smiles spread across everyone’s face. Phones are out to record the memories and the crowd even erupts into cheers at the end. This was such a perfect way to spread some Christmas cheer as people travel for the holidays. Who else was grinning along with this incredible choir?

Talented vocalist David Archuleta helps usher in the Christmas season with a stunning rendition of ‘The Christmas Song.’ We first met David Archuleta when he rose to fame as a contestant on the seventh season of American Idol. David was just 16 years old when he placed second in the competition. Since that time, he’s continued to entertain with popular songs such as ‘Crush’ and covers of ‘The Prayer’ and ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me.’ Today, he’s lending his voice to one of the most popular holiday songs of all time. “Chestnuts roasting on an open fire Jack Frost nipping at your nose Yule-tide carols being sung by a choir And folks dressed up like Eskimos” ‘The Christmas Song’ written in 1945 by Bob Wells and Mel Tormé. The story is actually quite interesting. The two musicians were hanging out on a very hot day. As a way to stay cool, Bob started writing down things that made him think of wintertime. He so hot that he believed if he wrote down chilly thoughts, he could become more comfortable. When Mel saw the list, he mistakenly thought that Bob had started writing a song. That’s when Mel added to it and completed it. “And so I'm offering this simple phrase To kids from one to ninety-two Although it's been said many times, many ways Merry Christmas to you” Over the years, so many famous voices have covered this tune and they each add their own unique performance. One deserving teacher is in for a Christmas surprise when 500 students show up at her doorstep. The hidden camera show Random Acts is known for rewarding individuals who have gone above and beyond or are in need. The hosts will choose some one to surprise with a random act of kindness. This can be monetary, an experience or even a big item like a new home. Over the past few years, so many people have been blessed by this caring organization. Today, they are honoring Emily, an elementary school teacher who recently fell ill and feared she might miss the Christmas season. Emily is a beloved teacher and co-worker. Everyone in the community wanted to make sure that this selfless woman was able to enjoy her favorite holiday to it’s full extent. That’s where Random Acts came in. In a matter of hours, they transformed Emily’s front yard into a winter wonderland complete with falling snow. But that wasn’t all. The hosts organized the entire student body and transported them to Emily’s house for an incredible surprise. Each student had collected a jar of change to donate to Emily and her medical expenses. One by one, they handed their jars to their favorite teacher as Emily tried to hold back the tears. It was truly a Christmas miracle and it’s such a heartwarming moment to witness. I’m so thankful for incredible organizations like this that can give back to deserving individuals in their time of need. Who else agrees?

Ring in the Christmas season with a jolly rendition of ‘Feliz Navidad’ from DCappella. This iconic holiday tune was first written in 1970 by Puerto Rican musician José Feliciano. Over the years, this happy tune has become one of the most popular Christmas songs of all time. In fact, it still continues to place on the Billboard charts almost every single holiday season. So many people enjoy this simple but jovial song. The lyrics aren’t complicated but they are a perfect reminder of the simple words that can bless someone’s Christmas. “Feliz Navidad Feliz Navidad Feliz Navidad Prospero año y felicidad” DCappella is a talented a cappella Disney group. They were formed in 2018 with some of the best vocal talents in the country. Since their creation, the group has covered countless Disney favorites such as ‘You’ll Be In My Heart’ and ‘How Far I’ll Go.’ Today, they’re helping to spread the Christmas cheer with an upbeat rendition of ‘Feliz Navidad.’ Just listen as they belt out these lyrics that we all know and love. “I want to wish you a Merry Christmas I want to wish you a Merry Christmas I want to wish you a Merry Christmas From the bottom of my heart” Christmastime is when we gather with our family and friends to spread love, laughter and kindness. It’s also the time of year when we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Because of Him and His many blessings, we are all able to come together and give thanks. Merry Christmas!

The Piano Guys perform a unique Christmas rendition of ‘Let It Snow’ and ‘Winter Wonderland.’ For years, these talented gentlemen have been using their unique talents to entertain audiences all over the world. They started by posting their talented cover performances online, but they quickly went viral and became a global phenomenon. Now, The Piano Guys are helping to ring in the Christmas season in the most incredible way. Just watch as they sit down with their instruments and start to play ‘Let It Snow.’ “Oh the weather outside is frightful But the fire is so delightful And since we've no place to go Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow” As the music starts to flow, the Christmas lights perfectly sync up with the notes. The Piano Guys wrote about the creation of the performance saying, “A piano, a cello, and 739,539 Christmas lights. Perhaps a perfect setting for a mashup of two of the most well known and beloved Christmas carols, “Let it Snow” and “Winter Wonderland.” For this tune we triple-channeled the stylistic vibe of legends Michael Bublé, Sara Bareilles, and the Doobie Brothers!” Just listen as the jolly music puts us all in the Christmas spirit. “Sleigh bells ring, are you listening, In the lane, snow is glistening A beautiful sight, We're happy tonight, Walking in a winter wonderland.” Christmas time is about love, laughter and spending time with our loved ones. It’s also when we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. As we come together this year, let us all remember the real reason for the season.

The talented Gardiner sisters perform a beautiful rendition of ‘It Came Upon A Midnight Clear.’ This classic hymn reminds us all of the real reason for the Christmas season. “It came upon the midnight clear, that glorious song of old From angels bending near the earth to touch their harps of gold Peace on the earth, goodwill to men, from heav'n's all gracious king The world in solemn stillness lay to hear the angels sing.” For years, these sisters have been using their incredible voices to give praise to His Name. Today, they are putting their spin on the Christmas classic ‘It Came Upon A Midnight Clear’ and it’s absolutely stunning. This hymn is the perfect way to ring in the Christmas season. On their Facebook page, the sisters write, “We hope to uplift and inspire those who listen to our music and watch our videos. Our dreams of sharing positive, upbeat songs with our signature harmonies are made possible by all those support our independent endeavors.” Isaiah 9:6-7 “6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.”

It’s another WestJet Christmas miracle as the popular airline company releases their annual holiday spot. WestJet is a Canadian airline offering affordable flights and quality service to over 100 destinations. But they are probably most well known for their giving nature and viral acts of kindness. Over the years, we've seen this airline helps countless people in their time of need and bring smiles to thousands of faces. Last Christmas season, WestJet strived to pull off the ultimate gift but I think they may have topped it this year. During the holidays, many people become consumed with presents. Children and adults cannot wait to receive the perfect gift on Christmas morning. But WestJet sought out to see if it was better to give or receive this year. So, they set up a Christmas wonderland full of trees, snow and Santa Claus. When the guests arrived, Santa appeared and offered them an incredible gift. But each person had a choice. They could keep the present for themselves or choose to give the gift to a Ronald McDonald House family. One by one, families selflessly gave up cash, trips and gift cards in order to make someone else’s Christmas bright. And the biggest gift of all was that the selfless strangers were able to meet these needy families in person. What an incredible moment to watch so many people come together and celebrate the real meaning behind Christmas. It isn’t about the money we spent or the glamorous gifts that we receive. It’s about spreading God’s message of love and kindness.

Award-winning artist Tori Kelly performs a stunning live rendition of ‘Do You Hear What I Hear’ at the 2019 CMA Country Christmas. Tori Kelly has been a staple on the music scene for years. But the road to success wasn’t always easy. After signing with a record label early on, Tori was released without warning. Then, she faced rejection after failing to advance on American Idol. Tori felt lost but that’s when she turned to God and started to write and record her own music. She posted the videos online and quickly became an Internet sensation. After mainstream success, Tori even went on to record her first gospel album in 2018. Today, she is performing a beloved holiday song at the annual CMA Country Christmas. Just listen as she belts out the beautiful words of ‘Do You Hear What I Hear?’ “Said the night wind to the little lamb Do you see what I see Way up in the sky little lamb Do you see what I see A star, a star Dancing in the night With a tail as big as a kite” These words remind us of the real reason for the Christmas season. Jesus was born in a manger in Bethlehem and a star guided all of those to Him. What a beautiful blessing to sing about. Amen!
