TEACH US TO NUMBER OUR DAYS. Moses prayed a powerful prayer that is so relevant in our day, "Teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom" (Psa 90:12). How do we number our days and what does it mean by gaining a heart of wisdom? We live in troubled times but God showed us the example of the sons of Isaachar who had "understanding of the times and what Israel ought to do" (1 Chron 12:32). We too, need to emulate the fine example of these men who were part of David's army and whose strength lay in their brains not just in their brawn. We need to understand the times we are in and to know what to do with our lives. This is a heart of godly wisdom.

The five talented men of VoicePlay perform an a cappella rendition of ‘I Will Survive.’ During these uncertain times, the words of this classic song remind us all that these times will pass. “Oh no, not I, I will survive Oh, as long as I know how to love, I know I'll stay alive I've got all my life to live And I've got all my love to give and I'll survive I will survive, hey, hey” Time after time, the men of VoicePlay stun us with this incredible talent. Over the years, they’ve given us amazing covers of popular songs such as ‘True Colors’ and ‘Don’t Stop Believin.’ On their Facebook page, the creative group explains their style. “Their performance ping-pongs between eras and styles, channeling the breadth of the musical landscape, and lacing it with inventive and often hilarious on-stage theatrics.” Today, Voiceplay is taking on the legendary tune ‘I Will Survive’ in the midst of social distancing. The group explained the careful process they used to create this incredible video. “In case you're curious, we did practice some social distancing with the creation of this video. It was filmed one person at a time over the course of an entire day. No camera operator or crew was present and we maintained a safe distance from each other at all times.” This group always manages to choose the perfect tune to showcase their vocal range and skill. And today’s performance is no exception as they belt out the lyrics that we all know by heart.

The Collingsworth Family remind us that God is all around us with ‘Joy Is Not Cancelled.’ This original song is exactly what we all need to hear during these uncertain times. “Joy is not cancelled It still remains Gods' goodness, kindness His grace isn't running low And He has not changed” For years, The Collingsworth Family has been using their God-given musical talent to help spread His message of love and forgiveness. Through their music ministry, thousands of people have heard the Lord’s praises and blessings. COVID-19 has forced many businesses to close and people to remain home. As we walk through these unprecedented times, it is so important to remember the blessings in our lives. That’s why Kim Collingsworth was inspired to write the song ‘Joy Is Not Cancelled.’ Just listen as she belts out these powerful words. “His power is still abundant His mercies are still new God's plans have not been cancelled He's fully in control And everything that matter still remains” We are so blessed to serve such a loving and gracious Father in Heaven. Even when we may not understand His plans, God is always there. Trust in Him and we know that better days will come. 1 Peter 1:8-9 “8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”

Joining Hoda Kotb on her Quoted By series, Candace Cameron Bure shares about the worship song that is helping her get through this pandemic. “Candace, I’m so happy that we’re doing your quotes during this time because, I gotta say, people are looking for hope and for light,” Hoda says to Candace during the interview. “And I think they wanna know what’s your North Star when it comes to quotes?” Candace goes on to talk about her family motto, which is “Excuses are for losers.” She says that this quote is not about being a winner, but it is more about character building. “It’s saying there’s no excuses, just try, go for it,” she says. “It’s like the best parenting advice I’ve ever given to my kids.” Then Candace goes on to share her next quote with Hoda. “This is from a song from Matt Maher who wrote it in 2013. It’s called ‘Lord, I Need You’ and it’s my everything,” Candace shares. “It encompasses, I mean Hoda, you know how important my Christian faith is, and it’s the foundation of who I am. And I could pick a Bible verse and there’s a billion that I could give you, but when I need to feel, and when I need a reminder, this song and the lyrics in it are everything.” The song that Candace talks about is a beautiful worship song that reminds us of how much we need the Lord. He is the one that guides our heart and holds us up when we feel like we are falling apart. He is where we find true rest and peace. Candace then goes on to talk about how important it has been for her to rely on her faith during this time. “We’re all worried, because we don’t know what’s gonna happen, we don’t. And I think the unknown is the scariest for all of us,” says Candace. “We don’t necessarily have job security, some people don’t know where their next meal is coming from, you know, schools are out, and parents are homeschooling for the first time…I mean there’s just so many unknown questions.” Amidst all the unknowns, Candace shares that she can always look to the Lord during this time of uncertainty and be rooted in her faith. “The Lord gives all of us not only grace but hope and promises and tells us not to worry,” Candace says. “He’s like, ‘I know every hair that’s numbered on your head. I provide for every bird in the air and every animal. Don’t you think that you’re more valuable than them?” What a beautiful thing to see Candace using her platform to share the love of Jesus with others and reminding the world that we all need the Lord.

The instrument is a series of tubes, most typically made of bamboo or reeds and creates a truly remarkable sound. The pan flute is traditionally played in folk music throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas. Today, we have the pleasure of hearing this unique instrument played in a way that gives praise to our Lord in Heaven. Just listen as David uses the pan flute to share a beautiful performance of ‘Let My People Go.’ “Oh, let us all from bondage flee, Let My people go! And let us all in Christ be free, Let My people go!” David truly has a gift for performing and it is such a blessing to hear him use his gift to honor our God. And when you hear this beautiful song played on this special instrument, you will truly be in awe. What an incredible way to worship our Lord during these uncertain times. The talented voices of Shalom Chorale grace the stage of Britain’s Got Talent for an incredible performance of ‘Blinded By Your Grace.’ This song was originally released by British rapper Stormzy in 2017. Now, these inspiring words are taking on a whole new life as this gospel choir belts them out during their audition. “Lord, I've been broken Although I'm not worthy You fixed me, I'm blinded By your grace You came and saved me” Even though a gospel choir has never won Britain’s Got Talent, this incredible ensemble definitely has the talent to contend for the title. Shalom Chorale made their debut performance in 2018 and it’s only been upward from there. On their website, the group describes their amazing mission. “The Shalom Chorale is a group of sensational singers with a passion for music and faith in God.
