In this touching act of commitment, one wife prays outside of a hospital every day for her sick husband who is fighting COVID-19. Michelle Gutierrez has spent the last 4 weeks outside of the St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston praying for a miracle for her husband, David. He has been in the ICU battling COVID-19 and is now on life support and in a coma. Even though her husband may not know that his wife is outside the hospital praying for him every evening, that does not stop her from showing up every night. “God is going to hear our prayer,” Michelle says as she looks up at the hospital windows where her husband is. “I’m here, just as I promised you, that I would be here at 7pm. So, I’m here my love.” Michelle also writes a letter to her husband every morning, beginning it with “Good morning, Sunshine.” All of her letters have been delivered to David’s bedside. When David was admitted to the hospital back in July, he was in critical condition. “I said, ‘You know, honey, I am going to be here with you every single night until you get out of this hospital,’” Michelle shared. “His last words to me were, ‘I love you. I love you. See you soon.’” Michelle’s dedication and love to her husband really show that she meant her wedding vows when she said “for better or for worse, in sickness and in health.” May God provide her with the peace and comfort that she needs during this time, and may her prayers for her husband to recover be answered! 1 Thessalonians 1:3 We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

In this performance on America’s Got Talent quarterfinals, Archie Williams sings the Stevie Wonder classic, ‘Love's In Need of Love Today.’ “It's that love's in need of love today Don't delay, send yours in right away Hate's goin' round, breaking many hearts Stop it please before it's gone too far” As we’ve seen in his original AGT audition, Archie is a talented 59-year-old with a tragic backstory. He explained on the show that he was wrongly convicted for a crime he didn't commit and served 37 years in prison as a result. In this performance, Archie sings the song in a way that is so moving and captivating. He puts soul into the song, and the cry in his voice when he sings this is so deeply felt. “Wow! I keep watching it over and over! What an awesome performance!” writes one person on YouTube about the video. “The imperfections were perfect! They made it real with raw emotion! I hope he wins!” “There is no question it is a tragedy what happened to this man and that pain comes through his vocals,” comments another person on YouTube. “Just take a minute, sit back and think of how you would feel all those years locked up knowing you were innocent. You just can't fathom something like that. I know I can't. 10-year-old Roberta Battaglia returns to the America’s Got Talent stage with a beautiful rendition of ‘You Say’ by Christian artist Lauren Daigle. You may remember Roberta from her first audition. When Roberta first stepped on stage, she was full of nerves. Before her performance, she even needed a moment to calm herself. But as soon as the music started, we all realized that Roberta is unlike any other voice on the show. She belted out the lyrics to ‘Shallow’ by Lady Gaga and had the entire theater on their feet. Roberta was overcome with emotion and even shared that she experience bullying so this moment of acceptance meant a lot. The entire performance and touching backstory was enough for Roberta to earn the golden buzzer from newest judge Sophia Vergara. Now, this teen vocalist is back for a stunning quarterfinal performance to ‘You Say’ by Lauren Daigle. “You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing You say I am strong when I think I am weak And you say I am held when I am falling short And when I don't belong, oh You say I am Yours” Lauren Daigle originally released this powerful song in 2018 and it quickly became a smash hit in both the Christian and secular music scene. In just a few short years, this song has spread all across the globe and become a staple in church services. Now, Roberta is putting her own spin on this modern day worship song and it’s definitely resonating with the judges. Way to go, Roberta!

In this energetic video, Southern Raised crosses genres and plays Beethoven's 5th Symphony on their bluegrass instruments! This performance is a genuine delight to listen to. The back and forth of the fiddle and banjo are so fun and we can’t get enough of it! And it is crazy to see how fast the musicians are playing and plucking their instruments during the song. What a cool thing to see when people experiment with the sound and style of bluegrass. “The amount of talent in your family is stunning!” comments one person on YouTube. “The timing and the precision of y'all’s playing is just amazing, I am in awe.” “Fabulous! The musicians in Southern Raised are trained in classical music but were raised in the bluegrass-soaked Ozark Mountains. According to their YouTube page, “they have created a Southern Raised trademark sound where classical meets bluegrass and city streets meets country roads.” And the band has “morphed a progressive sound that spans Christian Country/ Bluegrass, Celtic, and Classical.” It’s great to see this family using their gifts to have fun as well as bring joy to those around them.
