The Voice Winner Chevel Shepherd Sings 'I Will Always Love You' Cover

In this video, the Voice Winner, Chevel Shepherd, sings a beautiful rendition of ‘I Will Always Love You’ by Dolly Parton. “If I should stay, I would only be in your way So I'll go, but I know, I'll think of you every step of the way And I will always love you, I will always love you” “Hey y’all! Happy Saturday! I hope you’re having a great day,” Chevel starts off at the beginning of her YouTube video. “Thank you guys so much for tuning in, it really means a lot. A lot of you guys requested this song…a lot of you wanted me to do a Dolly song. A lot of people don’t know that this was actually written by Dolly. Whitney Houston did a phenomenal version of it. They’re both amazing, and I’m really excited to be doing this song for you. It is called ‘I Will Always Love You.’” Chevel does an amazing job with her cover of this song! And in her YouTube video’s caption, she mentions how big of a fan she is of Dolly Parton. “I love Dolly and love this song! I think it’s so pretty and the lyrics are so heartfelt,” she says. “As usual you never fail us with your beautiful voice,” comments one person after watching this YouTube video. “God Bless you and stay well.” “Oh wow! You did Dolly proud!” writes another person on YouTube. “You’re amazing!” Chevel Shepherd was the winner of season 15 of The Voice. She was 16 at the time and auditioned with the song ‘If I Die Young’ by The Band Perry. The judges that turned their chairs for her were Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, and Blake Shelton, and Chevel chose to be a part of Team Kelly. What a talented young woman with such a beautiful voice!

Candace Cameron Bure On Faith During The Pandemic

Anytime our comfort is challenged can sometimes test our faith. The pandemic has impacted everyone’s life in some way. However, suffering can be an opportunity to grow our faith as we depend more on God. Christian actress, producer, and author, Candace Cameron Bure, shared her thoughts on faith during the pandemic. She spoke openly about her faith with the viewers of ABC News watching from their homes. “During the pandemic, I cannot imagine not having faith. The Bible is the source of truth I go to especially when I’m anxious and when I’m worrying.” Like all believers, Candace has her internal struggles with worrying and thinking too much on what she cannot control in life. When the thoughts overwhelm her she knows just where to go for insight. Candace cited Matthew 6:26-27 as one of her go-to scriptures during these difficult times. “Consider the birds of the sky: They don’t sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they? Can any of you add one moment to his life span by worrying?” -Matthew 6:26-27 She says that she can rest assured that the “Creator of the Universe” is looking out for her. Candace allows scripture to ease her own worrisome thoughts, and likewise, uses her same revelations to encourage other people in her life. Candace has used her religion for direction in her work within Hollywood, sticking with entertainment that is strictly family-friendly. “I think my faith is a big reason why I co-hosted The View for two years as well,” she added. She has been successful at standing by her Christian values starting with Full House back in her childhood years through projects she is involved in today. “My faith is not something that stays at home when I go out for work. It follows me everywhere I go,” Candace said with a confident smile. She went on to mention that she has not had her faith shaken, but has questioned God. In various times of her life she has asked, “Why?” And so have many Christians, as we all have attempted to understand the mysteriousness of God. Even without answers to some of her questions, she has maintained her faith throughout life, growing her belief with time. Candace recently became Chief Spiritual Officer for Woman’s Day Magazine, directly combining her faith and work. One of the biggest takeaways from the interview was how Candace talked about putting on love in the morning, referencing Colossians 3. She thinks of putting on love much like she does her clothes or make-up, knowing that will affect how she “communicates with everyone [she] interacts with.” Her faithful example is very inspirational during these difficult times. She is a reminder that though we are very much not in control, God is. Though we may have anxieties, God can take each and every one of those worries away. If we can be like Candace, acknowledging God for who He is, reading His word, praying, keeping the faith, we can allow Him to work in our lives. There is no reason to despair, and plenty of reason to hope.

Security Camera Captures Angel Flying Over Congregation

Something incredible happened in the skies above the church Vineyard Anaheim in Anaheim, California. A security camera captured an angel flying over the congregation. Bill Herman, the church’s security director commented the following: "I was monitoring the video feed on the night of the service where this wonderful phenomenon happened. I'm a retired law enforcement person of 37 years, and I'm a grounded realist but a staunch believer in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When I saw the angel swoop across my screen, I replayed it numerous times to find a rational explanation. I also checked other video cameras to see if a car passed by our church glass doors to determine that it was a reflection of headlights, and no car passed by. After eliminating all possibilities that I could think of, I asked others around me to give me their thoughts. Overall, the many who reviewed it felt it was a real manifestation and for what reasons to manifest itself in this way at this time, well only God knows to be perfectly honest." As the worshippers stood in the congregation, some with arms spread for God’s embrace, the band stood on stage delivering their own form of worship. That is when the strange phenomenon occurred. Swosh. Very quickly, an image that appears to be an angel zooms through the camera feed above the congregation. The poor quality of the video makes distinguishing color and shape difficult, but the image’s outline does resemble a little body with wings. Could this be an angel sighting? The video is definitely fascinating to watch! Sometimes we see things and don’t have rational explanations. But faith isn’t about having all the answers. Sometimes it’s OK to not know and just remain in awe of the wonders of our God and the mysteries in His kingdom!

Blind Singer Matt McLaren Stuns The Judges With 'All Of Me' Piano Audition

A blind singer on Australia’s Got Talent named Matt McLaren stuns the judges with his piano audition of ‘All Of Me’ by John Legend. “What would I do without your smart mouth? Drawing me in, and you kicking me out You've got my head spinning, no kidding, I can't pin you down What's going on in that beautiful mind, I'm on your magical mystery ride And I'm so dizzy, don't know what hit me, but I'll be alright” Matt McLaren is 27 years old and has been blind since birth. But since the young age of three, Matt knew that music was his calling. And growing up in a small town, Matt was easily recognizable and well known, not just because of his visual impairment but his sheer musical talent. “It’s the one thing I think I’m good at. It’s always been just a very natural thing for me to do, I guess,” says Matt to the judges before he starts his audition. “When I’m playing keys, it’s like nothing else really matters. It’s fantastic. It’s the best.” As soon as Matt starts singing and playing the keyboard, he gets an immediate round of applause from the audience. He even brought tears to some of the judges’ eyes. What a talented musician! “I feel like someone just dropped kicked me in the heart. It was unbelievable! It was so emotional,” says one of the judges after Matt’s performance. “The way you sang it was beautiful. It’s one of my favorite songs, and it was lovely for me. Thank you.” “You have filled this room with love, and I cannot thank you enough,” says another judge to Matt. “It’s a yes for me.” He then proceeds to get yeses from the rest of the judges and is on to the next round of Australia’s Got Talent!

Priest Performs Hamilton Parody ‘You’ll Be Back’ During Quarantine

Quarantine has been very hard for a lot of people, to the point that pretty much everything you do now is online. Making online shopping easier but what about worshiping? That’s why this priest decided to make a parody of ‘You’ll Be Back’, from the immensely popular Broadway musical Hamilton. Hamilton is a musical that took Broadway by storm and found millions of new fans after it was added on Disney+. Hamilton explores the life of Alexander Hamilton, one of the founding fathers of the United States. If you have watched Hamilton, then you are familiar with King George III. King George is a bit of a comic relief in the show. And His song, “You’ll Be Back” is a fan favorite. In this video, Reverend Lonnie Lacy, rector of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Tifton, Georgia, makes his own version of ‘You’ll Be Back.’ The priest dances all around as he sings his funny version of this song. Originally, the song was about King George III who was in distress about America, and how they fought for independence. King George thought that the American colonists would be back once the rebellion ended, but he was wrong. The priest however turned the song into his way of reminding church-goers who miss the fellowship of their congregation, that this is just a temporary season we are experiencing. “You’ll be back, with your friends, and you’ll belt out all your favorite hymns. You’ll say your prayers and pass the peace, even with the ones you like the least.” This priest seemed like he had a fantastic time making this parody, and it will for sure make people smile and warm their hearts. With more than 1.4 million views, the priest has become quite a viral celebrity himself, as well as making people’s days better. Hopefully, it won’t be too much longer until COVID-19 is over, so we can enjoy a day at the park and church on Sunday!

Trio Of RESOUND Stuns With 'Fall On Me' On AGT Quarterfinals

The talented trio of RESUOUND return to the America’s Got Talent stage for a quarterfinals performance of ‘Fall On Me.’ You may recognize this talented group from their numerous viral videos including Disney medleys and gospel favorites. For years, RESOUND has been following their years of pursuing a full-time career in music. After a stunning first audition to ‘What The World Needs Now’ on America’s Got Talent, notoriously difficult judge Simon Cowell gave the trio a well-earned thumbs up. Now, they’re back for another amazing performance as they belt out the words to ‘Fall On Me’ from Great Big World. This stunning ballad was made famous by opera voice Andrea Bocelli and his son, Matteo. Their rendition earned millions of views online and sparked the songwriters of Great Big World to release their own rendition. “I thought sooner or later The lights up above Will come down in circles and guide me to love But I don't know what's right for me I cannot see straight As you” Now, RESOUND is putting their own spin on this modern-day classic and it’s a quarterfinals performance you don’t want to miss. “Fall on me with open arms Fall on me from where you are Fall on me with all your light” As you listen to this performance, there is no doubt that RESOUND has earned their place in the competition. Time after time, they bring their talented vocals to the stage and inspire us with their perfect song selection and execution. Who else is rooting for this trio?

Father-Daughter Duet To 'Fly Me To The Moon' And 'Come Fly With Me'

Enjoy a dose of nostalgia with this father-daughter duet of ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ and ‘Come Fly With Me.’ Mat and Savanna Shaw are a talented father-daughter team that enjoy making music together. After they posted a video online of their duet to ‘The Prayer,’ it quickly went viral. Millions of views later, Mat and Savanna are continuing to create and bring smiles to our faces during these troubling times. Today, they’re taking on two classic with ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ and ‘Come Fly With Me.’ ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ was written in 1954 by Bart Howard. The iconic song was covered by countless artists over the years including Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee and Kaye Ballard. After spending weeks at the top of the music charts, ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ is a certified classic. “Fly me to the moon Let me play among the stars Let me see what spring is like On a, Jupiter and Mars In other words, hold my hand In other words, baby, kiss me” When you think of Frank Sinatra, you can’t forget to mention ‘Come Fly Me With.’ This beautiful tune whisks us away to happy times and cherished memories. “Weather-wise, it's such a lovely day Just say those words and we'll feed those birds Down to Acapulco Bay It is perfect for a flying honeymoon, they say Come on fly with me, we'll fly, we'll fly away, we'll fly” The only thing better than a Frank Sinatra song is two Frank Sinatra songs. Who else was singing along with this medley?

Julie Andrews Learns To Yodel From Maria Von Trapp

In this lovely video, Julie Andrews learns to yodel from the real Maria Von Trapp! The iconic movie, The Sound of Music, was released in 1965, and Julie Andrews played the role of Maria. Her character was a tomboyish postulant at an Austrian abbey who becomes a governess in the home of a widowed naval captain with seven children. There, Maria brings a new love of life and music into the home. This heartwarming movie was based on the real-life story of the Von Trapp Family singers, one of the world's best-known concert groups in the era immediately preceding World War II. And this short video shows Julie Andrews sharing a sweet moment with Maria Von Trapp while she teaches the actress how to yodel! These two sound so great together when they blend their beautiful voices in this song. And they look like they both are having such a great time up on stage together. “What a marvelous Austrian folk song hummed by Julie and Maria. Both of their voices are great to me,” comments one person on YouTube after watching this video. “She is so classy. Such perfect diction, pronunciation, clarity and beautiful to hear and see -- defining the genre for her day,” writes another person online. “Engaging the audience with her every move, expression and sound.” “No one could have played Maria Von Trapp better than Julie Andrews! She made the film classic, iconic, and timeless worldwide!” another person writes on YouTube and we couldn’t agree more! We hope you enjoyed this short clip, originally from The Julie Andrews Hour, and it brought some joy to your day! Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Curious Baby Octopus Steals A Man's Camera

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I want to get up-close and safely observe animals in their natural habitats. There’s a lot to enjoy from all of God’s creations (except roaches), but there’s also the potential risk factor. Sometimes a funny risk factor. That’s what one man discovers when one curious baby octopus steals this man’s camera. Picture the setting. Deep underwater. Fish, crabs, sand, and rocks surround you. The dark water prevents you from seeing too far ahead. And then there is a cute baby octopus that appears. The cameraman, Eric Desmet, was deep in the waters off the coast of Mandelieu, France. He swam close to a baby octopus, filming with his GoPro camera. He thought he was doing the watching, but the octopus was doing a little spying of his own. “I see the tentacles arriving on the camera,” he remarked when the octopus reached for the camera. Their struggle for the GoPro was brief. Guess who won? The opponent with two hands or the one with 8 tentacles (and numerous suckers on each.) “He took the camera, and I had to smile because he wanted to take it with him,” Eric shared. Eric let the baby octopus swim a brief distance, humored by the sight. The camera looked to be the size of the octopus and was “a little bit too heavy for him.” He saw himself as playing a game with the tiny octopus. The two began to pull the camera back and forth. Eric was careful not to injure the animal. The octopus didn’t share that concern for his GoPro, but Eric was content. “I swim, and I come back and see the octopus.” Eric left the octopus to go back to the surface to breathe, something he does as a part of his free diving experience. “I am in the water every day, and as soon as I am in the sea everything is quiet and soft.” His description of the water sounds very peaceful and harmonious. This baby octopus may have decided to shake things up a bit that day for Eric. “If I lose something, I lose something. If an octopus is coming to visit me, or my camera, it’s not a problem for me.” After a second breather, their playful struggle continued. Eric may have been enjoying himself more than the octopus. This time though, the octopus let go and stared at Eric. “He’s an amazing animal,” Eric thought. The animal and video are both quite amazing and will definitely warm the heart. God has blessed us humans with one another, but we can also find pleasure in our interactions with animals in the wild or those we keep as pets.

'Grandpa (Tell Me 'Bout The Good Old Days)' Country Cover From Dave Fenley

America’s Got Talent alumni Dave Fenley gives us a much-needed dose of nostalgia with ‘Grandpa (Tell Me 'Bout The Good Old Days).’ This classic country song was originally recorded by The Judds. It was released in 1986 and went straight to the top of the charts. Over the years, the song has become a beloved favorite covered by countless artists. “Grandpa, tell me about the good ol days Sometimes it feels like this world’s gone crazy And Grandpa, take me back to yesterday when the line between right and wrong don’t seem so hazy “ You may recognize Dave Fenley as a contestant on Season 8 of America’s Got Talent. This talented musician made it all the way to the semi-finals before being eliminated. But he made a lasting impression on the audience and music industry. He also competed on The Voice, where he was a part of Team Blake. Since his time on AGT and The Voice, Dave has shared the stage with huge names such as Dwight Yoakham and Dierks Bentley. Now, he’s belting out the words to a classic with the beloved words of ‘Grandpa (Tell Me 'Bout The Good Old Days).’ “And Grandpa, let’s wander back into the past and paint me the picture of love long ago Did lovers really fall in love to stay and stand beside each other come what may Was a promise something someone really kept not just something they would say and then forget Did families really bow their heads to pray Did Daddy’s really never go away” As we walk through difficult times, it’s nice to look back on fond memories that bring smiles to our faces. This song is just the step back in time that I needed to hear today.

Man Catches Boy In His Driveway And Has The Best Response

It was a heartwarming moment captured on camera when this man catches a boy in his driveway and creates an unforgettable memory. The owner of Canyon Chasers YouTube page recently uploaded a video that caught the attention of the world. The man has a security camera aimed at his driveway and it was constantly going off in the evenings. After viewing the footage, he found that a young boy was riding his bike through the driveway during walks with his family. The video caption says, “Every night I would get an alert from my driveway security camera, and at first I was a bit annoyed, but then I found myself looking forward to the evening alert.” That’s when the man’s wife has an inspired idea to make something special for the boy and the entire neighborhood. As the video owner says, “What transpired has turned into the best part of an otherwise dreary pandemic summer.” After dark, the man went outside and drew a racetrack, complete with turns and straightaways, around the driveway. The next night, the young boy was delighted to see a track for him to follow with his bike. Every time it rained, the man redrew the track, making it more challenging. Soon, others in the neighborhood were taking their turn through the chalk lines and every moment is captured on camera. In a world filled with bad news, it’s such a blessing to see someone take time out of their day to bring joy to others.
