Soldiers Of Swing Perform Nostalgic Medley On Britain's Got Talent

In this upbeat performance, a duo called Soldiers of Swing sing an unexpected swing rendition of One Direction's 'Story Of My Life' on Britain’s Got Talent Semi-Finals. “Written in these walls are the stories that I can't explain, I leave my heart open but it stays right here empty for days, and I'll be gone, gone tonight, the ground beneath my feet is open wide The way that I been holdin' on too tight with nothing in between The story of my life, I take her home, I drive all night to keep her warm and time is frozen” The soldiers are Vince and Lee, and man, do they know how to croon! And they are so creative to turn a pop song into a catchy jazz song! During their performance, pictures of important moments in their life show up on the big screen behind them. The two play off each other really well on stage, and the harmonies that they sing throughout the song are great! Plus, the duo looks like they are having such a fun time performing together. When the soldiers finish singing 'Story Of My Life,' the judges and the audience give them a big round of applause! We hope you enjoyed their rendition of this popular song and it was able to bring a smile to your face! James 1:2-6 2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

Visually Impaired Singer Inspires With 'Carry You' Performance On BGT

A visually impaired singer inspires everyone with her performance of ‘Carry You’ on Britain’s Got Talent. Sirine Jahangir is a singer and musician who participated in Series 14 of Britain's Got Talent. Born in London, she became completely blind by the time she was nine years old. In her first ever audition for the show, she revealed she was visually impaired and stated, ‘music is my vision,’ after she sang and played the piano with a God given talent. In fact, she sang ‘Salvation’ by Gabrielle Aplin while playing the piano for her audition and received a standing ovation. One of the judges, David commented 'What you couldn't see is the entire palladium on their feet applauding you, because they love you!' Amanda went on to describe the entire audition as 'Poignant.' She managed to sing and play piano all the way through the show and landed in the semi finals. And what she performs was truly awe inspiring and incredible. Her performance is backed dropped by a black cloud of curtains, back lit by purple pins of light with beautiful Monarch butterflies taking flight. She performed 'Carry You' by Ruelle featuring Fleurie, once again playing her piano. Judge Ashley remarked “Your voice literally transported me somewhere else,” with judge, Alesha adding, “there’s an honesty about you, a purity and a sincerity and that is very rare.” Between her voice and the poetry of the words, Sirine moves the crowd to tears with a standing ovation. Is anybody out there? Can you lead me to the light Is anybody out there? Tell me it'll all be alright You are not alone I've been here the whole time singing you a song I will carry you, I will carry you Indeed, God will carry you and he always has. What an amazing reminder, he is with us, even when we feel alone or in the dark. Take a listen and be prepared to be wowed by her talent and God’s presence. Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. Isaiah 46:4

Older Man Steps Up To Dance Machine And Wows The Crowd With His Moves

An older man steps up to a dance machine, and he wows the crowd with his moves! When there’s good music playing, it’s difficult to sit still. Maybe you simply tap your toe, or you do a little seat dance, or if you love the song enough, you may just hit the dance floor to show off your best moves. But what if you’re in the middle of a mall or street? What if it involves a dance machine? Would you bust a move? One older gentleman was caught on camera with his epic dance moves. The video shared on Youtube, reveals a man dressed in a t-shirt and sweatpants. He stands in front of the dance machine and goes through various dance categories before raising his hand to signal his selection. Suddenly, it’s game on as he gets serious, so serious that he pulls up his pants and tucks in his shirt. The man doesn’t just bop along to the music, though. He has some epic moves. He follows the animated characters on the screen move for move that are a combination of martial arts and band boy dance moves. Soon a crowd gathers to witness this epic moment, including one man dressed in a Mario Brothers Costume. The man’s dancing was contiguous because some of the onlookers even joined in on certain parts. Old age be darned! This guy proves that age is just a number as the crowd cheers them on. As the song ends, he swoops his arms in a circle with hands mimicking a crane before he stops in a pose. The crowd around him erupts with cheers. This man’s love of music and his sweet, sweet moves are an inspiration for everyone to get up and dance whenever the mood strikes no matter how old you are! Check out the epic performance in his viral video — and be sure to share with anyone who could use a smile! Let them praise his name with dancing, making melodies to him with tambourine and lyre! Psalm 149:3

68-Year-Old Turns All The Judges With 'Take Me Home, Country Roads' Audition

A talented 68-year-old turned all the judges with his incredible ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’ audition! The Voice has been on television for a long while, showcasing people’s singing talents. Ruud Hermans had entered the show with the song ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’ to perform to the four judges and audience. As soon as he sang the first word, three of the judges spun their chairs to face him as he was singing. The reason the judges are turned away from the competitor, is so the person that is performing is anonymous. This remains the case until they hit the button to turn their seat around, showing interest in possibly signing the competitor. Ruud was 68 years old when he performed on The Voice, and his age did not stop him from wowing the judges. When three of the judges turned their seats around you could see the amazement on their faces. As Ruud performed, the judges stared at him intensely and with smiles on their faces. Ruud’s family and friends cheered him on backstage and began to dance while Ruud blew the audience and judges away. Towards the end of his performance, the judges all stood and began to clap their hands to the beat of the song. Ruud has without a doubt won the judges over with this classic country song. With the finishing note of the song rang out, the crowd and judges gave Ruud a standing ovation for his outstanding performance. With his family and friends jumping up and down with joy, Ruud had made it through one of the toughest singing competitions on TV. Ruud performed in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and he did a fantastic job. I sure hope to see more of Ruud in the near future on competitive shows such as The Voice. It is up to Ruud to keep performing for America, and we sure hope he does just that.

'Bare Necessities' 7-Year-Old Claire Crosby Performs Disney Classic On Ukulele

7-year-old Claire Crosby brings the Disney magic with her ukulele rendition of ‘The Bare Necessities.’ You may recognize little Claire from one of her many viral videos. Claire and her dad became Internet sensations after their precious duet 'You've Got A Friend In Me' went viral in 2017. Since that time, Claire has been keeping busy with a successful YouTube channel where she sings and showcases fun times with her family. Claire has also made appearances on The Voice, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and many more. She even recorded a special melody of every single Disney princess song at Disney World. Today, she’s taking on another Disney classic with ‘The Bare Necessities’ from The Jungle Book. “Look for the bare necessities The simple bare necessities Forget about your worries and your strife” The Jungle Book is a 1967 animated hit for The Walt Disney Company. The movie spurned multiple sequels and even a live-action remake in 2016. This beloved film has become a true classic, due in huge part to the catchy songs and music. One of the most famous songs in the animated movie is ‘The Bare Necessities.’ Sung my the characters of Baloo and Mowgli, ‘The Bare Necessities’ was even nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song. Today, Claire Crosby is putting her own spin on this iconic song and it’s one performance you don’t want to miss. “When you look under the rocks and plants And take a glance at the fancy ants Then maybe try a few The bare necessities of life will come to you They'll come to you!” Disney songs always take us back to a simpler place and time and that’s exactly happening with this ukulele cover. Who else is singing along right now?

Former BGT Winner Colin Thackery Inspires With 'What The World Needs Now'

Former Britain’s Got Talent winner, Colin Thackery, returns to the stage with a moving rendition of ‘What The World Needs Now.’ This 1965 song was composed by legendary musician Burt Bacharach and made popular by Jackie DeShannon. After its release, the song quickly shot to the top of the music charts. Now, it’s a classic tune that has taken on an entirely new meaning in recent times. “Lord, we don't need another mountain, There are mountains and hillsides enough to climb There are oceans and rivers enough to cross, Enough to last till the end of time.” We first met Colin when he auditioned for the thirteenth season of Britain’s Got Talent. At 89-years-old, he was much older than most of the contestant but his heart is as young as ever. Colin shared the heartfelt story of the love and loss of his wife, Joan. It was just two weeks after his wedding to Joan that he was sent to Korea. Colin served in the 45th Regiment of the Royal Artillery and nearly died while he was fighting in Korea. Sadly, in 2016, Colin was forced to say goodbye to his love when she died in his arms. His initial audition was full of emotion as he belted out the words to Bette Midler’s ‘Wind Beneath My Wings.’ Colin brought raw emotion and heart to each of his performances until the very end. And the cheers were nearly deafening when he was announced as the winner of the entire competition. Now, Colin is back on the show that started it all with a socially distant performance of ‘What The World Needs Now.’ And to make the show even better, he’s backed by current competitors, Kingdom Choir. “What the world needs now is love, sweet love It's the only thing that there's just too little of What the world needs now is love, sweet love, No not just for some but for everyone.” We could all use a little bit more love in our lives and this song is the perfect reminder to be the change that you want to see.
