Blind Boy With Autism Christopher Duffley Sings Original 'It's Been You'

In Colossians 3:23, we learn about doing all things as if we are working for God. It means no matter how big or small, everything we do like tucking a child in at night or singing a song can glorify God. This includes a blind boy with Autism, Christopher Duffley, singing his song, “It’s Been You.” Grab a tissue and be prepared for joyful tears as you see God work through Christopher. He learned how to sing before he ever held a conversation. Born at 26 weeks, he was premature and then abandoned by his parents after it was discovered he was blind. His aunt found him in foster care and took on the task of raising him. Later, she discovered he had autism. He didn’t speak until first grade but he didn’t just learn how to talk, he learned to sing. When Christopher began to sing, it was discovered he had perfect pitch. Over the years, he began singing professionally. Now that he is a young adult, he is grateful to his aunt for raising him as her own. This young man revealed that he is filled with wisdom and humility as he put together a song that talks about his transition from a teen to a young adult. The song talks about how he feels like he needs his parents now more than ever. With lyrics like, “Who’s going to tuck me in at night? Who’s going to say a little prayer?” He says he wrote it because, “It’s the small things that parents do that are not seen or thought about.” Christopher knows what a gift his parents are. He also knows that transitioning from a teen to a young adult is tough too. Well done Christopher! Thank you for the reminder that we are all God’s creation. We all have a purpose to glorify God in all that we do. He created each of us unique and different, yet we all are made in his image. “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men;” Colossians 3:23

'What Child Is This' Darius Rucker And Lindsey Stirling Sing Christmas Hymn

Check out this video of Darius Rucker and Lindsey Stirling performing the Christmas hymn ‘What Child Is This.’ “What Child is this, who laid to rest, on Mary's lap is sleeping? Whom Angels greet with anthems sweet, while shepherds watch are keeping? So bring Him incense, gold and myrrh, come Peasant, King to own Him The King of Kings salvation brings, let loving hearts enthrone Him.” What a magical performance! Darius Rucker is singing the song while Lindsey Stirling beautifully dances and plays her violin while surrounded by so many lit up Christmas trees. The performance is from this year’s CMA Country Christmas, and it was aired on November 30th on ABC. “Great rendition, violin was an excellent complement to his voice,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video. “All in all, a beautiful rendition of this wonderful hymn.” “This is so beautiful it brought me to tears, more than once! Thank you for this!! Praise Jesus, the Lord, my savior!” writes another person online. The lyrics to the Christmas hymn ‘What Child Is This?’ was written by William Chatterton Dix in 1865. William spent most of his life as a businessman in Glasgow, Scotland. He was very interested in traditional English folk songs, and when he started writing the lyrics for ‘What Child Is This?,’ he decided to use the melody of ‘Greensleeves’ to create the carol. It is his most memorable and famous creation to date. We hope that you enjoyed watching this performance by the talented Darius Rucker and Lindsey Stirling, and may this Christmas season fill you with hope and joy! John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

'It Wasn't His Child' Country Christmas Performance From Tim McGraw

Listen to this wonderful Christmas performance by Tim McGraw of the song ‘It Wasn’t His Child.’ “He was her man, she was his wife, and late one winter night, He knelt by her as she gave birth, but it wasn't his child, it wasn't his child Yet still he took him as his own, and as he watched him grow, It brought him joy, but it wasn't his child, it wasn't his child” This beautiful song is by Trisha Yearwood, and it is on her album titled The Sweetest Gift. It’s a Christmas song that tells the story of Joseph, a story that we don’t often hear get told in Christmas music. Tim McGraw did a marvelous job performing ‘It Wasn’t His Child’ on CMA Country Christmas this year. He is seen sitting in a cozy Christmas scene with just an acoustic guitar accompanying him. Such a perfect setting for this performance. “The story of Joseph in music -- how God must have poured out so much love over Joseph and given him an extra measure of understanding and kindness to be the earthly father of Jesus. How blessed are we to hear the story in music from Tim McGraw,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video. “How beautiful. Tim did a wonderful job with his most beautiful voice,” writes another person online. “This was needed during such hard times, to help us to remember our Lord Jesus Christ and the greatest gift he gave to us.” We hope that you enjoyed this touching performance by Tim McGraw and fell in love with the beautiful humanity of this Christmas song about Joseph. Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.

'The First Noel' Gabby Barrett Performs At CMA Country Christmas

Rising country star Gabby Barrett ushers in the Christmas season with a stunning performance of ‘The First Noel’ during the 2020 CMA Country Christmas celebration. This classic hymn is the perfect reminder of the real reason for the Christmas season. ‘The first Noel the angel did say was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay; in fields where they lay keeping their sheep, on a cold winter's night that was so deep. Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, born is the King of Israel.’ Gabby Barrett rose to fame as a contestant on season 16 of American Idol. She finished in third place, behind winner Maddie Poppe and runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson. Since that time, Gabby has continued to follow her dreams of making music and spreading the word of God. Gabby grew up in a Christian household and has always been open about her faith. In fact, she auditioned with ‘His Eye Is On The Sparrow.’ Today, she is ringing in the Christmas season with this beautiful rendition of ‘The First Noel’ during the CMA Country Christmas. ‘They looked up and saw a star shining in the east, beyond them far; and to the earth it gave great light, and so it continued both day and night. Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, born is the King of Israel.’ Matthew 2:11 “And going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.”

Husband And Wife Sing 'Fly Me To The Moon' In Music Store

This husband and wife sing ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ in a music store, and it’s beautiful! It’s always nice to see a couple sharing love through performance. The couple are Emil and Zandra Ernebro. Aside from being in love, the husband and wife are very talented. The husband, Emil, opens in the video by demonstrating his ability with a guitar. His wife, Zandra, waits for her moment and then engages the audience with strong vocals. Together they flow in unison as they perform this awesome cover. The shop they perform in is called No. 1 Guitarshop and is located in Sweden. And this cover song is just one of many videos they have posted of themselves and others in the shop sharing their musical talents. Behind Emil and Zandra is an array of guitars of different makes and models. The shop sells guitars and clearly makes use of showcasing talent too. The classic song ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ has been performed by a number of different artists over the years, including the famous Frank Sinatra. Though the original tune was written by Bart Howard with the title, “In Other Words.” That year, musician Kaye Ballard made her first recording of the song. Ten years later is when Frank Sinatra came out with his rendition of the song, which grew wildly popular. The lyrics of the song include: Fill my heart with song and let me sing forevermore You are all I long for All I worship and adore In other words, please be true In other words, I love you The sentimental and touching lyrics could be words spoken to a lover and even to God himself. Love has the ability to take us to great places, some would say even the moon. The Bible is filled with songs in the Book of Psalms that talk about a love we Christians feel that takes us to various places in life. God is the giver of love and we are the recipients. One thing is for certain, God’s blessings of love and gifts to us is why we are able to share that same love and those same gifts with others. We can thank God for whatever our talents are knowing that only because of Him we can do our part to serve others. “We love him, because he first loved us.” 1 John 4:19

Caring Gorilla Helps Injured Bird

Would you believe this caring gorilla helps an injured bird? Animals can surprise you, especially when animals get along that you wouldn’t expect. Over in New South Wales, Australia, one friendly gorilla takes notice of an injured bird inside his enclosure. The gorilla walks some distance over to where the injured bird is laying. All the while, a family catches the incident on camera. The gorilla nudges the bird a bit, seemingly to try and get it to move and fly away. Despite the attempts, the bird does not move at all. When he realizes the bird isn’t moving, the gorilla lays down by the bird, confirming his suspicion and maybe checking for breathing. The gorilla’s actions resemble one person checking another person who is unconscious as they listen for breathing or other vital signs. With the bird not moving still, the gorilla sits up and glances around momentarily. He touches the bird more firmly this time. Miraculously, the bird moves, fluttering its wings. This surprises the gorilla and the people filming. The gorilla touches the bird a little more, causing more movement in the bird. The bird doesn’t keep moving though and at times is simply still. The gorilla tries to lift the bird up on his finger like a scene out of a Tarzan or King Kong movie. The bird will not move much despite the gorilla’s attempts. What makes the video funny is that he goes back to inspecting the bird, trying to figure out what is keeping the bird in place. He doesn’t know the bird likely has an injured wing or leg. With all of his efforts, the gorilla tires and walks away, not harming the bird and minding its own business again. “How awesome was that?” one of the women behind the camera asks. The incident is awesome indeed. How fascinating, witnessing acts of love not just with people, but also the animals the Lord has created.
