'Angels We Have Heard' Jordan Smith Live Christmas Performance

The Voice winner Jordan Smith fills us with Christmas cheer as he performs ‘Angels We Have Heard On High.’ This beautiful hymn is always a welcome listen during the holidays and it’s even more meaningful hearing it from this powerhouse vocalist. “Angels we have heard on high Sweetly, sweetly through the night And the mountains in reply Echoing their brief delight Gloria, in excelsis Deo Gloria, in excelsis Deo” You may recognize Jordan Smith as the winner of season 9 of The Voice. His soul-filled performance won over the hearts of America. Since his time on the talent show, Jordan has continued to share his vocal talents through beautiful covers and stunning originals. Today, he’s kicking off the Christmas season with a live performance of ‘Angels We Have Heard On High.’ Just listen as he belts out these powerful lyrics of praise for our King. “Shepherds, why this jubilee? Why your joyous strains prolong? What the gladsome tidings be Which inspire your heavenly song?” Set inside a church, this Christmas performance is the perfect reminder of the real reason for the season. Our Savior was born in a tiny manger in Bethlehem and He went on to save us all. That is reason to sing, indeed! Who else is lifting up their voice in praise with this rendition of ‘Angels We Have Heard On High?’ Luke 2:8-9 “And there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them.”

13-Year-Old And His Sisters Sing 'All I Want For Christmas Is You'

13-year-old Blake Walker and his sisters get us in the holiday spirit with this beautiful rendition of ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You. This song became an instant classic after pop star Mariah Carey released the tune in 1994. Mariah wrote and performed the catchy tune and now, it has become a true Christmas staple. ‘I just want you for my own More than you could ever know Make my wish come true All I want for Christmas is you’ Today, young Blake Walker and his sisters are putting their own spin on this modern-day classic. You may recognize Blake from the viral Rise Up Children’s Choir and Junior Choir. Over the years, this talented choir has performed countless covers of worship songs and contemporary hits. All of these performances have garnered millions of views online. Now, Blake is performing this holiday classic alongside his sisters, who are also members of the famed choir. Just listen as they belt out the iconic lyrics of ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You.’ “And everyone is singing (oh, yeah) I hear those sleigh bells ringing Santa won't you bring me (yeah) The one I really need (oh) Won't you please bring my baby to me quickly” From the stunning backdrops to the brilliant vocals, this family performance is definitely a Christmas must-see. There is no doubt that these musical siblings have a talent for performing and I hope that we continue to see more from them in the future. Who else agrees?

High School Musicians Play 'O Holy Night'

Listen to these talented high school musicians play ‘O Holy Night.’ “O Holy night! The stars are brightly shining, it is the night of our dear Savior's birth Long lay the world in sin and error pining 'til He appears and the soul felt its worth A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices, for yonder breaks a new and glorious morn Fall on your knees; O hear the Angel voices! O night divine, O night when Christ was born O night, O Holy night, O night divine!” The two boys in the video are playing the cello and the piano and they are from Fountainview Academy. This school is a Christian high school based in southern British Columbia, Canada. The video starts off with the cello and piano player playing ‘O Holy Night’ in a field of snow surrounded by evergreen trees. What a stunning, snowy setting! As the music fills the snowy field, you cannot help but feel a beautiful sense of peace. They must have been cold when filming this but, wow, it sure does look beautiful! After the two musicians finish playing the song, the camera takes an aerial shot of the magical snowy scene and then the shot fades to black. What incredible music and videography! “Praise God for your music ministry. I'm personally blessed and inspired by your music,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video. “Blessings to all of you!” “Such a beautiful piece. So soothing, really draws us back to that exciting night when our Savior was brought forth to this world,” writes another person online. We hope that you enjoyed this beautiful video of these high school musicians playing ‘O Holy Night’ and that it was able to uplift your spirits today! May we all focus on the beauty of this Advent season and cherish the beautiful gift of our Savior.

Mother-Son Duet To 'White Christmas' By Bing Crosby

Enjoy listening to this fabulous mother-son duet to ‘White Christmas’ by Bing Crosby. “I'm dreaming of a white Christmas, just like the ones I used to know Where the tree-tops glisten and children listen, to hear sleigh bells in the snow I'm dreaming of a white Christmas, with every Christmas card I write May your days be merry and bright and may all your Christmases be white” The people singing in this video are Katherine Hallam and Jordan Rabjohn, and they are a mother and son. And each of them is so incredibly talented! “Had so much fun recording this cover with my mum for her Christmas album which is out now!” writes Jordan in the caption of this video on his YouTube page. “I think we all need to find Christmas this year more than ever!” Katherine and Jordan both have such fabulous voices that blend together so well. And I love the festive Christmas sweaters that they are wearing in this video. The two of them just exude joy when they are singing together. And they look like they have so much fun together! What a sweet mother-son relationship they have! “Absolutely marvelous! I loved what you did with this classic,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video. “You more than did it justice, you made it your own! Thank you!” “I swear, I could listen to the two of you sing all day, and then listen to you both sing your own music,”writes another person online. “This really put a smile on my face. Thank you for sharing.” What a peppy and jazzy song, full of great harmonies and crystal clear voices! Katherine and Jordan sure did an amazing rendition of this Christmas classic. We hope that you enjoyed listening to this wonderful version of ‘White Christmas’ and it was able to bring a smile to your face today!

Christmas Light Show Set To 'That's Christmas To Me' By Pentatonix

Check out this fun and festive Christmas light show that is set to the song ‘That’s Christmas To Me’ by Pentatonix. “The fireplace is burning bright, shining along me I see the presents underneath the good old Christmas tree And I wait all night 'til Santa comes to wake me from my dreams Oh, why? 'Cause that's Christmas to me” The house is covered all over with green, red, and white lights in true Christmas fashion. And there are four singing Christmas trees, two on each side of the house, that move their smiling mouths along with the lyrics. What a fun and magical sight, for kids and adults alike! As the lights move around the house and the lawn, the flashing patterns go along with the notes of the song. This clearly must have taken so much time and effort to set up! But what a beautiful display. This family is spreading Christmas cheer, for sure! “Here we have 40,000 lights dancing to a Pentatonix song with the use of Light-O-Rama Software controlling 232 channels. You can see why the faces shine in this video!” reads the caption of the video. We hope that you enjoyed this beautiful light display set to ‘That’s Christmas To Me’ by Pentatonix. And may these sparkling lights glowing in the dark remind us all to let our light shine this Christmas season! Just like these lights shine hope and joy, that is the same kind of light that is in us because of Jesus. Matthew 2:9-10 After listening to the king, they went on their way. And behold, the star that they had seen when it rose went before them until it came to rest over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.
