Deputy Starts Epic Dance-Off After Being Called For Noise Complaint

One talent deputy is making noise online and it’s going viral. Deputy Brissett started an epic dance-off after being called for a noise complaint. But what he found wasn’t a domestic disturbance or someone blaring their TV too loud. He found a gym full of little dancers on Christmas Eve. Instead of citing them for a disturbance and instead of kicking them out, he did something no one expected. He joined them! He started a dance-off! The deputy walked into the building relaxed and then initiated a dance-off. Despite wearing an officer’s belt, a bulletproof vest, and uniform, he showed off some pretty impressive moves the Pensacola Prancing Pirouettes were not expecting. The gym full of teenage girls loved it and it made them feel special too! He even gets his wild moves right on the beat to the music! Who knew officers could be that agile and flexible? Shortly after the Pirouettes posted the video to their Facebook page, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office followed suit and shared the video saying, “Deputy Brissett has some moves!” After seeing the video, we can all attest to his amazing dance skills. The Sheriff’s department has a unique relationship with the community. Rather than only enforce the law, they have come alongside the community to develop relationships and better connections. This video shows how “community” was emphasized where officers are encouraged to positively interact with the people in which they serve — dance battle and all. Deputy Brissett’s epic dance-off is just one of many examples. You can even see in the video, how the teens flock to the door when he arrives. It’s obvious, he is not only their protector but a friend. What an inspiring way to build up a community! “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11

2-Year-Old Amputee Toddler Takes First Steps

A 2-year-old amputee toddler takes his first steps, and it’s so inspirational! I’m not crying, you’re crying! Grab a tissue and be prepared for inspiration and cuteness overload as one man proves there are still good humans in this world. Blake Leeper, a paralympic, inspired two-year-old KJ Dyer to take his first steps on his prosthetic. KJ’s parents thought this appointment would be purely medical and their son would get fitted with his prosthetic. They also assumed he would be assisted by his doctors and staff to help him get used to walking on it. What KJ and his parents didn’t know was that KJ wouldn’t be taking his first steps by himself. He would have a friend who was just like he was. At the end of the hallway, paralympic star, Blake Leeper cheers on two-year-old KJ Dyer as he tests out his prosthetics for the very first time. Check out the connection between the pair. Blake showed KJ he was just like him.Blake knew what it was like to have prosthetics for the first time and wanted to show KJ support and that he’s not on his journey alone. “I got my legs on now,” Blake said.. “Come on!” Blake then showed little KJ his legs are the same. “You’re doing great! you’re doing awesome,” said Blake, encouraging KJ every step of the way. “We had the opportunity to meet Blake Leeper and it was just an amazing experience for us as parents and for KJ getting to see somebody to inspire him,” said his mom Chelsea. And now Chelsea is busy trying to keep with her son who is on the run. She said, he is “doing great and he only had to have the walker the first day and ever since we’ve been home, he’s been a very determined boy.” Later Blake sent a video message to little KJ “Keep fighting buddy. The next time I see you we’re going to race. You better be ready!” “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11

BGT Winner Calum Scott Performs 'You Are The Reason' With MerseyGirls

After winning Britain's Got Talent five years ago, superstar musician, Calum Scott, returned to the stage to perform 'You Are The Reason' with previous BGT contestants, the MerseyGirls dance team. In one of the most dazzling musical performances in the history of BGT, two previous contestants, Calum Scott and the MerseyGirls, shared an incredibly festive stage for the Christmas special of Britain's Got Talent. As the camera moves around an elaborate and beautiful winter wonderland stage, we see the choreographed MerseyGirls surrounding a throne of ice. The camera proceeds to pan to a side stage with large decorated Christmas trees and Christmas presents, revealing a very formally dressed Calum Scott singing his very own, 'You Are The Reason' alongside the accompanying pianist. And if I could turn back the clock I'd make sure the light defeated the dark I'd spend every hour, of every day keeping you safe As Calum sings, the judges and the audience watch intently as the MerseyGirls dance to the music. In their matching winter-themed costumes, the girls and the icy background behind them blend well together, creating a very graceful and serene atmosphere. When asked about the story behind the song, Calum stated, "You Are the Reason” started out as a song about something completely different than what it is now. It was originally written from a fragile place of anxiety and not knowing the cause of it, so the song started to become “Without A Reason”. But as we carried on writing, we realized how every relationship has difficult times but you stick with it because the love you fundamentally feel for the other person overrides everything else.” This song and its meaning remind us that we won't always be able to handle every situation, but that the love and support of others can give us the reason we may need to conquer anything. "Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy." Psalm 33:3

Doorbell Camera Captures Neighbor Saving Family Of 6 From Fire

When a blaze broke out in a family home, a neighbor came to their rescue, and the Salgado family’s doorbell camera captured the whole thing! You may be lucky enough to be graced with a good neighbor, you may even be lucky enough to have a great neighbor, but neighbors like Carolyn Palisch are truly a blessing from God. After noticing fire and smoke emerging from the nearby home of the Salgado family of six, neighbor Carolyn didn't think twice before rushing to the house to warn them. The whole scene unfolded in a flash, but the family's doorbell camera captured it all as Carolyn reached the front door of the family's home. When Carolyn Palisch, a nurse for 40 years, saw smoke billowing outside her window one winter morning, she immediately went outside to investigate. Upon inspection, Carolyn saw her neighbor's house being consumed by fire and smoke. Carolyn knew she couldn’t hesitate to jump into action after noticing the fire and smoke, rushing past flames to get to the front door of the Salgado's household. The Salgado's doorbell camera caught Carolyn on video as she ran past fire and smoke, still dressed in her morning robe, in order to alert the sleeping family by banging on their door. As the door opened, Carolyn rushed further into action by entering the burning house to ensure everyone inside made it out quickly and safely. "We were all asleep," a member of the Salgado family shared when describing the morning. "We hadn't heard anything, we didn't smell anything. She made sure we got out of that house." Upon their arrival, the local fire department explained that if the family had been asleep for merely five more minutes they might not have woken up, and the situation could have made a tragic turn. Because of the bravery and action of one heroic neighbor, a family still lives today. "She's family," the Salgados stated, "and she is going to be a part of our lives forever." "For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Galatians 5:14

Father In Wheelchair Stands To Walk Daughter Down The Aisle

It was a beautiful moment captured on camera when this wheelchair-bound father stood up to walk his daughter down the aisle. Every girl dreams of her wedding day, but for Heather Duquette it was a bittersweet moment. Heather’s father, Ralph, was diagnosed with Leukemia and had to use a wheelchair after chemotherapy treatments. This meant that Ralph would be unable to walk his daughter down the aisle on her big day. But when Heather’s wedding finally came around, Ralph had a big surprise up his sleeve. Only telling a select few people, Ralph decided that he was going to everything he could to stand with his daughter. This touching clip shows the moment that Heather emerged in her wedding gown and spotted her father. “When I saw him get up and come towards me I was overwhelmed. I started crying uncontrollably in front of everybody,” Heather told ABC News. As guests looked on with tears, Ralph was the picture of a proud father as he walked arm and arm with his daughter. “It was so amazing, she was so happy. It was something that every father dreams of.” What an incredible moment of love, joy and miraculous healing all in one. God bless this family and the new couple on their journey into marriage. 1 Corinthians 13:2: "If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing."

'A Strange Way To Save The World' Jason Crabb And Jay DeMarcus

Vocal powerhouses Jason Crabb and Jay DeMarcus team up for a stunning performance of ‘A Strange Way To Save The World.’ This beautiful song reminds us of the incredible miracle of Jesus’ birth. He was born unto Earth and died for our sins. Now, we are free to live out our days in Heaven. “Now, I'm not one to second guess What angels have to say But this is such a strange Way to save the world” Today, Jason Crabb and Jay DeMarcus are performing this touching song at the Grand Ole Opry. Jason was the lead singer of The Crabb Family band before they retired in 2007. Now, Jason is a Grammy award-winning solo artist leading the way with songs such as ‘Love Is Stronger’ and ‘The Song Lives On.’ And you may recognize Jay DeMarcus as a member of the world-renowned country group, Rascal Flatts. Both of these vocal talents have decades of experience and, today, they’re using their musical gifts to give praise to His Name with this rendition of ‘A Strange Way To Save The World.’ “To think of how it could have been If Jesus had come as He deserved There would have been no Bethlehem No lowly shepherds at His birth” Isaiah 40:26 “Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name, by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power not one is missing.”
