Listen to this guitar quartet perform their unique rendition of ‘Mamma Mia’ by ABBA — it won’t disappoint!
Made up of members Matteo Brenci, Emanuele Grafitti, Enrico Maria Milanesi, and Andrea Vittori, ‘40 Fingers’ recreates popular rock and pop songs since 2017. Their bio says the group also enjoys covering songs from their favorite movies and TV shows.
When all four musicians are on screen, it’s hard to choose who to watch! All of their hands do something different. I can’t even tell who makes what sounds! Although all of them are very talented, they each bring a different musical background to the group, making it even more unique.
As if their talent wasn’t enough to impress, the music video was filmed at Castello di Arcano Superiore in Italy, a gorgeous old castle structure. And if you’re a fan of the Mamma Mia films, a young, blonde woman runs around the structure in some scenes, paying tribute to the main character in those movies!
ABBA first released ‘Mamma Mia’ in ‘75 and is considered one of their most recognizable songs. It topped charts in different countries around the world. Younger generations enjoy it as much as those that first listened in the ‘70s. Timeless and a classic!
"Yes, I've been brokenhearted
Blue since the day we parted
Why, why did I ever let you go?"
I’d imagine you sang those lyrics in your head just like I did. It’s hard not to sing along while listening to ‘40 Fingers’ impressive cover!
As every man has received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God gives: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

One injured dog couldn’t stand for 8 weeks, but rescuers stepped in and helped her recover.
After getting hit by a vehicle, a dog was unable to stand. When rescuers found her, she had pulled herself to the side of the road, and her cries were heartbreaking!
The poor pup had suffered a spine injury that left her completely unable to bear any weight. She was taken to an animal rehabilitation center where she was given food and pain medicine. Slowly, the dog regained her strength. And the next 8 weeks at the center called for bedrest and physiotherapy.
While she was recovering, the workers at the animal center named the dog Dena. “We named her Dena, which means "to give" in Hindi,” they wrote in the caption of their YouTube video. “No matter how low she felt, when she couldn't move her legs or her body, her eyes showered her caregivers with love.” What a sweet pup!
At the rehabilitation center, Dena made some new dog friends. And after weeks of physiotherapy, Dena was finally able to overcome her injury!
“One fine day, 2 months after the accident with very little apparent progress, Dena was ready,” shared the workers at the rehabilitation center. “All by herself, this brave girl stood and took her first trembling steps. And that was just the beginning of what has become a complete, beautiful recovery.”
Dena never gave up, and because of the great care that she was given, she was able to gain her strength again and make a full recovery! It is so wonderful to see this sweet dog running around in the video and playing with other dogs. She got her life back! Dena looks so happy and healthy again, and it is all thanks to the loving care of her rescuers!
It is always beautiful when young people are singing the truth of the BIble to the world. In this video, an all-star contestant sings “You Say” during the blind audition on The Voice.
The Voice France has an inspiring young man who is sitting vulnerably at a piano. As he begins by singing in an operatic voice, the judges smile.
Two judges immediately turn their chairs. The young man has clear natural and professional talent. His falsetto is amazing. Suddenly two more judges spin around. He sings angelically.
Then, in the end, the final judge presses the button and turns the chair. All of the judges clap and stand after his performance. The performer cannot help but have a huge smile on his face.
What made this audition special was the passion behind the song, the authenticity in the voice, and the controlled power that he had the entire time. His voice was stunning and the judges and audience were blown away.
The song “You Say” by Lauren Daigle reminds us of the joy of having an identity that rests in Christ. The world and our own flesh might tell us that we are unworthy, weak, etc. However, when we look to the truth of God’s word in the Bible, we can be reminded of who God says that we are and our identity in Him.
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.” 1 Peter 2:9-10
This video shows the joy of giving to the Lord. A carpenter spent his savings on his sick son, but God showed up in a big way.
Todd Dundson dreamed of being a builder. He became a carpenter and started his own successful business. This video shares his story about how in the midst of his progress with work, one of his sons needed help. Todd as a single dad stepped in.
Todd left the dream-job business he had created for a while to work for someone else to be able to give more of his time to his son. In his new job, it gave him good pay, but then the money was cut in half. He kept taking side jobs, but it did not give him enough. He even had to go to a food bank at one point. Then, he missed a few months of mortgage payments.
Todd always tithed and trusted God no matter what happened. He shares how he loves to give and he had confidence that the Lord would look out for him. On a Sunday at church, before the offering, Todd felt the Lord encourage him that He was going to take care of him. Right when he got home, the phone rang.
A former contractor wanted to hire him and give him a cash advance. The advance enabled him to pay off his bills. Todd now looks back and sees how his sacrifice impacted his son and helped him get back on his feet.
God asks us to trust Him with our finances. He owns everything. It can be easy to hold back our giving out of fear or control. However, we can surrender to Him and give towards the church and His kingdom knowing that He will take care of us. We can do so with cheerful hearts.
"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7
This video is both inspiring and stunning. Plants can make music, and now you can listen to it!
This artist and entrepreneur invented a device that lets you listen to music created by plants. The sounds are so phenomenal. The man in the video takes a device and places it onto various plants and you can hear their unique sound waves.
It is an emotional experience. The video shares that the gadget used “converts plant biorhythms into music.” The device is called PlantWaves.
The inventor explains his creative discovery, “we connect two sensors to a plant’s leaves and the device (PlantWave) detects the variations inside of plants based on the moving water around. We graph the variations as a wave, translate them into pitch, and then run the pitch through instruments that we design.” The designer takes the PlantWare to a redwood tree. He explains how plants cannot “sing” if they are dead or not watered. The healthier a plant, the louder it sings.
This product has been in the works for a decade. The man wanted to connect people to nature through music. A record producer and an engineer created this incredible breakthrough design. It was first revealed at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. His hope is that PlantWave will get people more connected to nature.
This causes me to think about the Bible verses that talk about the trees singing. All of creation truly does worship the Lord. Even if we cannot hear it, they are making music for His glory every day. We can celebrate His goodness and creativity in His beautiful design.
"Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy.” Psalm 96:12
This video has some shockingly incredible talent for such a young age. 13-year-old Hailey Mia has the judges fighting after her stunning blind audition.
Hailey sings “You Broke Me First” by Tate McRae. Her precision and vocal abilities are way beyond her years. She has a natural gift that can only be given by God. Her passion and confidence is clear on the stage. All of the judges are in awe of her voice, but in the end, only two turn around. Kelly Clarkson and Ariana Grande go head to head fighting to get this girl on their team.
When the judges find out that Hailey is only 13 years old, they are shocked. Hailey says that she has been waiting until she was 13 to audition for the Voice and she is honored to be on the show. Kelly responds, “Holy Moly!” Kelly encourages Hailey that she has won the show before with a 14-year-old. Kelly tells her mom, “Job well done, you should write a book on how to raise kids.”
John Legend also chimes in and gives her compliments. Then, Ariana says that she is “Spectacular.” She encourages her that these moments are the ones that will continue to help her to grow. She says that Hailey will continue to flourish and she would love to help her get there.
Blake then steps in and encourages her to go with Ariana and Kelly gets frustrated. Kelly goes on to encourage her that she doesn’t have anyone like her on her team and that she would have a special spot. John Legend asks who Hailey picks as her coach and she chooses Ariana.
Just like this young woman waited a long time to share her gift with others, sometimes we are required to wait. This moment is absolutely sweet and thrilling. I believe Hailey would say it was worth the wait. Whatever you are waiting on, remember that Christ is developing you and preparing you for the future. This time is not wasted and this season is valuable.
"Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Psalm 27:14
Would you walk up to complete strangers just to tell them they are good human beings? Drew Formsma is a young man who gives compliments to strangers to encourage small acts of kindness. And let’s just say, this young man is having a ripple effect in the lives of many.
Drew knows this world is filled with so much turmoil. Strangers we pass on the street are going through struggles, problems, and battles we don’t even have a clue about. So, what is Drew’s remedy? Give compliments with a gift card for coffee. Talk about the perfect ‘pick me up’ for any day. He says nothing is more important in this world than encouraging people, loving people, and offering a little hope for humanity itself. Drew believes love needs to be brought back into the community. He brings the instructions from Corinthians to life as he stands strong and does everything in love. Isn’t he the hands and feet of Jesus in real life? We like to think so.
This video is so incredibly uplifting and heartwarming as he encounters strangers on a Monday morning just to stop them in their tracks for just a moment to offer up a healthy dose of encouragement. On the cards he gives to strangers, he wrote words of inspiration too! One of the first ones says, “Love can’t exist without giving,” and isn’t that the rock-solid truth? Just as Jesus laid down his life for us, Drew reminds us of how we can encourage each other in small ways.
One gentleman was having a rough Monday morning. He was on his way to give a presentation when he found Drew’s words of encouragement and a coffee card. He responded with heartfelt gratitude as he informed Drew, “You just made my day. I have a presentation to give and this is the perfect opening. Thank you.”
Another woman approached Drew in her car after she saw him walking through the parking lot. Her smile could be captured from a drone camera several feet away and she agrees we all could attempt to be a little kinder to those around us.
Perhaps we all can take a lesson of inspiration from this video and find ways to spread a little encouragement in kindness. It doesn’t have to cost us anything other than being willing to offer a smile, open a door, or give a kind word!
“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love,” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14.
