Sheffield, England is the home of this mother and son who sing a stunning “Shallow” duet. Their names are Katherine Hallam and Jordan Rabjohn, and they give Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper a run for their money with their cover of the hit from the 2018 remake of A Star is Born. Jordan opens the song. He’s singing in a blue studio, which may be in his home. The space seems to correlate with the somber mood and watery imagery of the song’s lyrics. Jordan’s voice is mesmerizing! At 28 seconds, when he sings the word “falling,” he drops his pitch and gives us an audio representation of the action. At about 50 seconds, Mum Katherine sings, and her voice is equally hypnotic—powerful and precise. She sings from the same spot that Jordan does, but as they sing together, we see them side-by-side on a split-screen. They are incredible! The mother-and-son bond is a special one, and it’s a unique blessing that these two share their musical gift. While watching the two perform together, it’s easy to see a resemblance between this handsome young man and his beautiful mum. The way they hold their head is similar, as is the sorta spiky curl of their hair in front. They seem to favor one another in the eyes as well. There are just a couple of seconds in the middle where Katherine is shown giggling and Jordan, glasses off now, shares a killer smile. And, it’s obvious that they are having a great time. Katherine wears a heart necklace, and every momma watching knows it’s indicative of the way she feels about her son and the opportunity she has in that very moment. Katherine and Jordan have recorded a number of duets together. And, here’s something else. Katherine is a visual artist as well, crafting whimsical and cuddly bears under the name Katie Rae Bears. Watch how these street performers combine Scottish bagpipes and African drums to create a unique performance. Street performers sing, dance, and play all different kinds of instruments in cities all over the world. There aren’t really sign up sheets for performing on a certain street, so it’s possible these talented people cross paths from time to time. I’d assume that one person would give the spot to the other or wait their turn. But these two musicians decided to share the stage — even when their instruments and styles may initially seem mismatched. Their decision created one of the most unique renditions of a classic bagpipe song. Just listen! The drum looks like a djembe, the most versatile and widespread African drum. Historians say that a tribe in West Africa first invented it in the 1300s. And now, children all over the world may get to play and learn about it in their school music classes! The specific shape allows players to create a range of pitches. The note also depends on the hitting technique and where the drum is hit. If you haven’t seen someone play a djembe, you’re truly missing out! Bagpipes come from a country thousands of miles away from Africa. Or did they? Historians disagree about the true origin of bagpipes. Some believe the instrument comes from ancient egypt while others say it originated in Ireland. Regardless, bagpipes appear in the history of both countries in similar forms with little differences. The current Scottish bagpipes, like the one in the video, were created around the 1500s. The unique instrument improved over the next couple of centuries through added drones (sticks) and notes. From entirely different backgrounds, the bagpipes and the African drum successfully united their cultures to perform a one-of-a-kind street performance. What an epic way to celebrate 16 years of being on the planet--by celebrating with your favorite singer. This video will make you cheer, smile, and give you all the warm fuzzies from the gift of joy and kindness. Marc Anthony jumps off stage to sing with a blind teen during a concert. Johnny Rivera, Jr was born blind and his father surprised his son with a special gift for his 16th birthday! A chance to listen to his favorite musical artist, Marc Anthony in person. But, that’s not all that happens for this boy’s memorable day. Even though Johnny Jr and his father were among a crowd of 20,000 people, the father, son duo captured Marc’s attention. The latin superstar saw both father and son expressing pure joy of being in the moment. At the time when they caught the super star’s attention, Marc was in the middle of singing, Live My Life when he noticed Johnny Jr singing and dancing along with the words, "Why cry? Why suffer? Start to dream, to laugh." Marc’s heart was moved by their exuberance and he asked a security guard to assist him off the stage to meet them. Johnny’s father then told his son that Marc was coming to meet them in the middle of the song. He said, "We were dancing and Marc Anthony saw him there; he came down to sing and dance with him. His father added, "I told him: ‘John, Marc Anthony is here with you and he’s going to touch you right now.’ When I gave him (Marc's) hand, he touched him.” Marc then kissed Johnny on the forehead as he sang into Johnny’s ear, "I’m going to laugh, I’m going to dance/Live my life la la la la la la/I’m going to enjoy, I’m going to dance/Live my life la la la la la." This moment was definitely orchestrated by God to be a gift not only for Johnny and his father but also for the latin superstar. Words written to music definitely bring people together for all sorts of reasons. And for these three men, it was a moment captured in time as a reminder to laugh, to dance, and savor each day. Johnny and his father will look back at the big birthday celebration, retelling the moment when Marc came to meet them for years to come. A hidden camera was placed in an elevator under the pretense that the elevator had been experiencing ‘malfunctions.’ But what that camera recorded will have you grinning ear-to-ear! Sheriff’s Deputy Tony Scherb, who had recently announced his retirement, stepped into the elevator, and couldn’t help but dance along to the song, “Whip/Nae Nae.” After 29 years on the force, the Sheriff’s Deputy was about to retire from community service. But first, he climbed into an elevator where he heard a catchy tune singing, and he decided to dance along. He definitely got into the music as cameras captured his groovy dance version of the party favorite, “Whip/Nae Nae.” I’m sure which part of this video is better—how he dances or how he sings! But when you think it’s just a dance party for one, another officer enters the elevator. At first, his colleague’s reaction is very solemn as she gives the Sheriff Deputy a look of, “Are you serious? Can you be serious right now?” But eventually, Deputy Scherb wins her over, and she suddenly busts out some pretty awesome dance moves herself. But the party is just getting started. Soon the doors open and another officer is shocked by what she sees as she enters the elevator. She tries to act professional and pretends that there isn’t a dance party happening around her. But she couldn’t help but join in on the fun too! The Sheriff’s Department made the video to help Deputy Scherb say goodbye. What an off-the-cuff moment caught on camera of officers pulling some pretty serious dance moves. It’s no surprise this video went viral! Since being released to the public, the video has gone viral with more than four million views! Perhaps the reason it’s gone wildly viral is because Deputy Scherb have found his new career as a dancer. I remember in 1999 falling into a state of depression that lasted for about 12 years. I had been working in my chosen profession for about 4 years. The job I had been working at was one in which if you were given a hundred tasks but got one wrong the supervisor would come and speak with you about it. Normally if you took a test and got 99% that would be considered good. But at this place of work that wasn't enough. Finally, after about 4 years it was more than I could bear at the time. I found myself depressed and could not understand why.

With some processing I was able to understand that some issues throughout my life had played a part in this final blow. My dad began to cheat on my mom when I was about three years old. Although I had nothing to do with this I felt rejected. When playing baseball in the schoolyard I was always one of the last picked on a team. During my high school days when trying out four different sports I was either cut from the team or if chosen never really seen any playing time. When I started my career and it seemed to demand such perfection this was a straw that broke the camel's back.

I can really relate with individuals in a similar situation. I'm sure you have heard of people that are you so depressed they don't even shower. I was never at that point but sometimes the simplest tasks could take an entire day.

Finally, about 7 years later I found a book on a discount rack at Walmart. It was a very small book about 3 in by 5 in and around a hundred pages. It was called Healing for Damaged Emotions by David Seamands https://amzn.to/3aFJRuz. David Seamand is a Christian minister with great revelation On how the human soul becomes wounded and how the human soul can be whole again. In 2007 while reading this book, I came across the scripture in 1 John 3:1, See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! It was the beginning of my understanding of who I was in Christ Jesus. And that was the beginning of my healing from depression. It did not happen overnight. In fact, it did take another 5 to 6 years. But the healing did come. I would recommend this book to anybody suffering from any type of emotional distress. After his classmates surprise him with a new bike, this teen can’t help but shed tears of joy! Imagine that your ability to get to school somehow disappeared. Well, that’s what happened to this unlucky kid in Brazil. Someone with an unkind heart stole his bicycle and left him without a means of travel. But his friends knew he didn’t deserve that. So they stepped in to help. In this short clip, you can see they surprised their friend when he walked around the corner of the building. He was legitimately surprised and had no clue what was going on! You can tell by his confused chuckle. Clearly, he didn’t even realize what was going on. He didn’t even notice the shiny new bike in the bike rack in front of him. I wouldn’t either with everyone staring at me like that! One of his classmates pointed out the new bike and let him know that it was his. The second the teen understood that they had come up with the money to replace his stolen bike, he immediately turned around and walked away out of shock and joy. No matter how good of friends you may have, receiving such a meaningful gift like this would be overwhelming. He obviously felt incredibly lucky to have people in his life that cared for him in this way. The most touching part of the video? When his friends surround him while he cried and gave him a group hug. Everyone deserves to have this much love and support from others. Just as these students spread God’s love, let’s find a way, big or small, to spread some of His kindness and grace to others today. But this I say, He which sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which sows bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7

This video shows you what really counts on your big day! This bride’s reaction to ‘surprise guests’ at her wedding will fill you with warmth, love, and maybe you might shed a few tears. She didn’t think her parents would make it to her wedding until the groom orchestrated the ultimate surprise. Aline Nas was about to marry the love of her life, Bryan Tickle and this bride wanted her parents there more than anything. But she knew it would be a miracle if they were able to make it to their Florida wedding because her beloved parents live in Brazil. Even though their passports had been approved, it was unlikely mom and dad would receive their passports in time because of their mail system. Aline says because she grew up in Brazil, she knew it was a long shot. Yet, her groom wanted to give her the ultimate surprise. Bryan worked out a plan to not only get Aline’s parents to the wedding but also ensured it would be the surprise of a lifetime. Aline’s parents agreed to not telling Aline they were in Florida. And they even managed to hide out at the same hotel Aline was staying at. On the day of the wedding, Aline’s dad was already dressed for the wedding but Aline called him like she always does. He said he had to pretend he was still at home. So he took off his shirt and messed up his hair to make it look like he was chilling out at home. Aline was ready, dressed in her wedding dress and walking with her husband-to-be when she caught sight of her parents. She fell to her knees and cried tears of joy at the sight of her parents standing before her. She recalls being in shock and wondering if that moment was truly happening. Her reaction was a mixture of love, surprise, and relief! But that’s not where this beautiful story ends. Aline learned her mother would be having surgery once she arrived back home in Brazil. With a little help from her groom, Aline made the 18-hour flight to surprise her parents. The unexpected visit was also captured on video! The reaction of surprise, shock, and pure adoration for Aline was painted all over her parent’s faces. This video is a sweet reminder of the love between parents and children. No matter how far apart, the miles in between, or the events happening in your life, it’s a sweet reminder of the gift of family and being surrounded by those you love. What an incredible testimony of a family’s love. “Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them!” Psalm 127:3-4

Nature never leaves us bored. In this amazing video there is surreal footage of a gigantic whale just inches away from a paddleboarder. This video is jaw dropping as you watch from a drone video camera while a huge whale slowly approaches a paddle boarder in Argentina. The whale comes right up to the paddle board. The woman smiles and stays calm. You watch as the enormous animal comes up a little out of the water as if to say hello. The woman stays very still and watches him, carefully showing that she is not a threat. Suddenly the whale gets playful and comes out of the water. He starts swimming under the boat. Then, shockingly we see the whale push the paddle board with a fin. The woman pulls out her phone and videos this beautiful creature while he swims around in a circle underneath her. It is a moment of awe when a second whale appears. This is unlike anything that I have ever seen before. Watching this video made me feel as if I were a part of the moment with the woman. God is so creative. As incredible as this whale is, our Lord is beyond our beyond. He is the creator who made all of the universe. He designed the whale in a unique way and we see glimpses of His glory through His creation. All of creation points towards our great God. “Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad, let the sea resound, and all that is in it; let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy; they will sing before the Lord” Psalm 96:11-13

This video is well worth watching. The performance at the World Harmony Showcase is outstanding. A barbershop quartet performs a Mary Poppins medley. These four incredibly talented men sing in perfect harmony. Their blend is absolutely incredible. They start out singing, “Jolly Holiday” with such vibrant energy. Then, they transition into, “I Love to Laugh.” The four are theatrical and one man does comedic laughs. Their performance is phenomenal. “Chim-Chim-Cher-ee” is perfection. Their vocals slide down as they flawlessly go into, “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.” Suddenly, a man goes into falsetto singing, “Stay Awake.” Of course, they sing, “Let’s Go Fly a Kite.” Then, back to “Jolly Holiday” for a grand finale. It is just fabulous to see how these men worked so well together. Their tight-knit vocals and great personalities make for a memorable performance. They remind me of the joy of working with others. God created us for community, we each bring things to the table. This quartet reminds us that we are stronger together. Teamwork was created by the Lord and we can learn a lot by working with others. This harmonic group could not function without sharing the spotlight and blending together. The body of Christ cannot be as effective without the different strengths of one another. The only one we should be glorifying is Jesus together. This barbershop quartet reminds us of the power of unity and the incredible effect that it has on those who are watching. The world is watching the church and we have the opportunity to be one and point to Christ. “I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.” 1 Corinthians 1:10

Watch this sweet video of a bride’s twin sister with special needs being carried down the aisle by her brother-in-law. Macy and Morgan have such a tight bond. They are both 25 years old, but Macy has special needs and looks a lot younger than Morgan. On her TikTok, Morgan shares about how important Macy is to her. “She’s always been my pride and joy since we were babies. The twin bond is inseparable; if you’re a twin I’m sure you can relate. She is my best friend, my twin, and the reason I am who I am today,” Morgan writes. “I am her voice, she is my heart!” When Morgan got engaged to Brian, she knew that she wanted to share her special day with her twin sister. So, what they ended up doing was having Brian carry his soon-to-be sister-in-law, Macy, down the aisle in a white dress. All eyes were on her, and the moment was so sweet! The whole thing was caught on camera, and it has now gone viral with over 40 million views! In the caption of the video, Morgan wrote this: “My twin sister who has special needs came down at my wedding with my fiancé, now who I call my husband. I wanted her to have her special moment as a bride like her twin sister. I will forever cherish this!
