The other day I was pretty down but I read Psalms 139 and just was overcome with encouragement. So I made this video. Share it with anyone who is feeling depressed, low on self-confidence, or even just needs some encouragement. Enjoy :)

A very creative and imaginative song by Lincoln. Near the beginning he had his grandmother play the piano. Then shortly after that the percussive beat is the sound of the heartbeat of his son Liam taken during a sonogram. Very cool, a multi-generational accompaniment team!

Darlene Zschech of Hillsong accompanies him here and does a wonderful job. They blend together nicely. Lincoln wrote the song along with Mia Fieldes of Hillsong fame.

She recorded this in 1994 at the age of 17. Beautiful job! The song was written by Eddie DeGarmo. Our God is indeed "above all things", isn't He?

The title song from Lincoln's 2010 album "Real Life". Co-written by Lincoln along with Mia Fieldes of Hillsong fame. Forgive me for seeming somewhat narcissistic here since I included a number of pictures of myself from my childhood, But the song is "Real Life", and these are pictures of my real life. Well, except for the ones about Alaska; I don't know what a "buoy raft" is, and I've never sailed on Kachemak Bay, and I've never run wild across Alaskan plains. Heck, I've never even been to Alaska! Anyway, just indulge me here. There are also some pictures of me in the middle that show me progressing from a baby to an "old man". Oh, and my dad is not in the pictures because he was the one taking them!

OK, but enough about me. Back to the song. A very well crafted song. The first verse talks about childhood memories and memories of a childhood home and taking it for granted. The second verse talks about raising a family and how life was good but it was taken for granted. And finally the

I always have a hard time trying to decide who my favorite female Christian recording artist is. One day it might be Christy Nockels, the next day it might be Kim Walker, and the next day it might be Misty Edwards. Right now my favorite is Kari Jobe. This is a majestic song from Kari's new album "Where I Find You" (which I highly recommend). She wrote the song along with Cody Carnes, who also sings harmony vocals here. Hallelujah! Our God saves! When I listen to this song it makes me say "Wow, I'm so glad I'm a Christian!"

A modern parable, this insightful video illustration examines the life of a man searching through the false promises of other religions and finding his salvation in Christ. Have you ever found yourself stuck in a situation that you couldn't get out of? And not only that, but you didn't know how to get out of. When you need help, where do you turn? How do you get out? The culture believes that there are many paths in life we can take, but this video illustration demonstrates that none of them will ultimately help you out of your situation. This reminds me of the famous story about CS Lewis where he proclaimed the most distinguish ing fact of Christianity. Here is a direct quote from Philip Yancey, What's So Amazing About Grace? (Grand Rapids, Michigan: Zondervan Publishing House, 1997), p 45. During a British conference on comparative religions, experts from around the world debated what, if any, belief was unique to the Christian faith. They began eliminating possibilities. Incarnation? Other religions had different versions of gods' appearing in human form. Resurrection? Again, other religions had accounts of return from death. The debate went on for some time until CS Lewis wandered into the room. What's the rumpus about? he asked, and heard in reply that his colleagues were discussing Christianity's unique contribution among world religions. Lewis responded, Oh, that's easy. It's grace. Grace makes Christianity unique from all other religions because it marks the stark difference in believing in a God that will come down into a hole and pull you out of your mess, verses a God that requires you to earn its approval.
