God is a man of war and gives his children mighty weapons to bring down strongholds in their lives. These are not worldly weapons but they are effective against any attack of the enemy. He has given the word of God which is greater than any tactic of the enemy. He has given praise which pushes back the enemy attacks and brings freedom in every situation. He has given his blood and his Holy Spirit, the power of God to fight the good fight of faith.
I heard this beautiful song on the SongDiscovery Volume #93 sampler CD. The song was written by Jennie Lee Riddle (she wrote the hugely popular "Revelation Song") and Crystal Yates. Crystal sings lead here, and Jennie Riddle and Will Yates are singing harmony. What an achingly exquisite song.
Selah has a version of this song coming out on their new CD to be released in August 2011. Can't wait to hear their version.
Natalie Grant has a popular version of this song out right now, but this is one of my favorite versions. The authors of the song, Krissy Nordhoff and Michael Neale, from The People's Church in Franklin, Tennessee sing vocals here. I made another video of this song a while ago, sung by Danielle Berg and Michael Neale, which is very nice, too. Krissy was unable to sing on that one, since she was eight and nine-tenths months pregnant at the time they recorded the album. I'm glad she finally got the chance to make this recording. A really majestic song. One of my favorites. Very well done.
From Laura's amazing album "Blessings" this is a beautiful communion song called "Remember". "Remembering" is one of the reasons that we regularly celebrate communion. As if we need to be reminded to the great sacrifice that Jesus made for us. But it's binding for the church to remember that sacrifice corporately. Laura composed this song.
A song of devotion and submission and praise to our Lord. The important word, of course, is "choose". We have to make a choice to follow God, it doesn't just happen automatically. We have to step out and confess that we are nothing without Him, and then all of the things He has promised will follow.
God must have been smiling down the day that Christians from around the world all united together to lift up praise dances to celebrate the resurrection of the One who died for our sins. 39 cities from all across the globe participated in this exciting dance--which is quite possibly the biggest flash mob in the world! Hallelujah He is Risen!!! Download the song for Free at https://www.UptoFaith.com
While coming into Israel we had an amazing divine appointment where God not only supplied our need but gave us a great opportunity to witness to a young Israeli surfer as well.
A song of faith written by Keith & Kristyn Getty originally from Ireland, with a little help from their good buddy Stuart Townend. Take a look at Hebrews 11 (the faith chapter) before you watch this, just to get you in the right spirit (if you aren't already). From the wonderful album "Awaken The Dawn"; one of those few albums where every song is a winner.
Sometimes people reach a phase of their life where they feel like they are "broken beyond repair". By nature we want to hold on to our past, but once we finally submit to God and are "born again" we never regret it.
No matter what we've been through, we have to continue to dream and continue to believe. We have our reward waiting for us in heaven. As Philippians 3:20 says, "But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ." Yes, Jesus Christ, our Savior, and our Redeemer. That's what this wonderful song is all about.
After studying and learning about Jesus and His ways we quickly understand how much He loved all of us. The sick, the lame, the outcast, the philanthropist, the disciple, the worshiper, etc. Everyone. He is the perfect example of love. And his greatest demonstration of love was at the cross. So "how could I go back to life as usual?" And after realizing the magnitude of His love, "I just want to take Your story to the world." What a wonderful song by Meredith.
