Goal : To Be A Perfect Man
Current Status : Perfect or Near Perfect
It may sound boastful or presumptuous but believe it or not, we'll NOT make it to Heaven if the goal and current status mentioned above does NOT fit us.
When Jesus Christ forgave us from our sins and chose to SAVE us spiritually (or born again) He made us to understand a very basic lesson and that is to REPENT or "Go and Sin NO MORE".
From the book of Genesis to Revelation, that is the PRIMARY message of God.
(Matthew 5:19 KJV) Whosoever therefore shall BREAK one of these LEAST commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
This verse simply demands PERFECTION from us in order to go to Heaven.
But again, nobody can be perfect without being born again first, and so it goes to show that the call to PERFECTION is ONLY for the Elect of God or those who had received the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ.
We need the guidance of Jesus Christ who now lives inside of us to be PERFECT.
(Ephesians 1:4 KJV) According as he hath CHOSEN US IN HIM before the foundation of the world, that we should be HOLY and WITHOUT BLAME before him in love:
In other words, we were CHOSEN to become PERFECT and if we did NOT get that message from our Savior, then maybe we still need to seek the Lord and receive Him first.
In false religions, there is NO Perfection but to the true church of God who believes
