General struggles are testing....

Veteran Pilot Helps Student Pilot Navigate Aircraft During Emergency Landing

Inside Edition’s Deborah Norville and Les Trent report on a veteran pilot who helped a student pilot navigate her plane during an emergency landing. The two pilots made an immediate connection and together worked through a dangerous situation!

Taylor Hash (21) was making just her third solo flight. She was preparing to land the aircraft when the nose gear fell from the plane and dropped to the runway. Though Taylor had no idea the piece had fallen off, one person on the ground saw it all.

Chris Yates, a veteran pilot and the former Director of Aviation for SpaceX, had just landed his plane on the airstrip in Pontiac, Michigan when the nose gear of Taylor’s single-engine plane “bounced and rolled down the runway.” Air traffic control immediately alerted Taylor.

We hear the conversation between the air traffic controller and Taylor. When the tower controller tells Taylor that her “entire front wheel assembly” is on the runway, Taylor responds calmly. Taylor tells Les Trent that she was just trying to figure out her options for landing safely.

The tower puts Chris on the phone with Taylor so that he can help guide her through the landing. He first asks her name, and then he shares that his own daughter is named Taylor. And, he taught her to fly when she was a little girl! Chris assures Taylor Hash that she’s going to be just fine. We can hear the fear and relief in her voice as she thanks him.

Chris goes on to talk with Taylor in a calming way, asking her if she wants to be a career pilot. He tells her that this will make a great story one day, and he calls her “kid.” His confidence, ease, and kindness help her stay focused as she lands the plane. She does so just as instructed, and Chris praises her performance, telling her he’s proud of her!

Taylor says that she will always stay in touch with Chris, and the two are making plans to meet in person and fly together soon. Chris was Taylor’s angel that day. He was right where he was supposed to be to offer the help and guidance that was needed. It’s funny how that works!

“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” Hebrews 6:10

Actor Playing Apostle On 'The Chosen' Shares Testimony Of Accepting Disability

Perhaps you have seen the Chosen series. It is a great and creative depiction of what it could have been like walking with Jesus in His days on earth. In this video clip, the actor playing an apostle on “The Chosen” shares his testimony of accepting his disability.

Jordan Walker Ross plays Little James in the tv show, The Chosen. He shares in this interview that the director asked him if Jesus could heal him, would he choose to be healed. The director inquired if Jordan could make his own disability as part of the story of the disciple that he was playing. Jordan tells of the vulnerability that took for him. He never shared his insecurities before.

He says that he was born prematurely and has cerebral palsy, scoliosis, and severe asthma. He had major surgeries growing up and then dealt with bullying at the lunch table. He shared about kids making fun of him and physically hurting him. He hid from them in between vending machines. He shares that he dealt with suicidal tendencies because of his battle.

Jordan expresses the great challenges. He shares that there have been people who he believes God has healed, but there are many whom the Lord has not healed here. Jordan shares plainly that it is not a matter of faith or of how obedient of a Christian you are to be healed on this earth. We see a dramatic scene where Little James asks Jesus why he has not healed him. We see the clip, and it hits home in a new kind of way knowing his real story.

Jordan shares that his insecurities are real, but he has come to an acceptance of not wanting to be healed because he has been entrusted with this limp to help encourage others and point them to Jesus.

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalm 139:14

Fisherman Spots Submerged Jeep And Is Stunned To Find Missing Woman Inside

Check out this story of a fisherman who spots a submerged Jeep in a lake and is stunned to find a missing woman alive inside.

Justin Pennington was fishing on Lake O’ The Pines outside Dallas, Texas, when he spotted a submerged vehicle in the water. Not something that you’d expect to see while on a fishing trip! He called the police, and once deputies arrived, they called a tow truck to retrieve the vehicle.

“I would’ve never thought anybody was in there because the windows were down. I assumed they probably got out and left it and were just gonna come back and get it the next day,” said Justin.

Once the tow truck operator arrived, Justin took him out on his boat to where the Jeep was in the lake. And you won’t believe what they found inside! Incredibly, there was a missing woman inside the vehicle who was still alive!

“She wasn’t saying anything, but she was conscious because she was moving,” shared Justin.

Justin and the tow truck operator hauled the woman onto the boat. She was then taken to a nearby hospital and treated for hypothermia.

“We don’t know how many hours she was actually in there, but it was long enough that you wouldn’t think somebody would still be alive after that,” Justin said.

The woman was reported missing two days prior, and it is not known how long she had been stuck submerged in the Jeep. Apparently, there was an air pocket inside the vehicle that kept her alive.

What an incredible story! We hope that the woman recovers after such a harrowing accident. And God bless Justin for finding her inside her car and saving her life. God sure had him at the right place at the right time in order for his fishing trip to turn into a heroic event.

Students Read Personal Letters of Encouragement Before State Exam

Students in one classroom in the Lone Star State were unexpectedly given loving words of encouragement prior to a test.

Whoever first said, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me,” couldn’t have been more wrong. Words most certainly do hurt, pierce and wound. On the other hand, a helpful and encouraging word can change the world and spur someone on to greatness.

One teacher in Texas understands the importance of words and how much they can either break one down or build someone up. In a video posted on TikTok, Chrishae Powell posted a video of students in her classroom opening and reading handwritten notes.

The notes were uplifting and were intended to help the students relax and perform their best on a mandatory state exam. Several of the students, with their letters in hand, look at the camera with big smiles.

In a follow-up video, Chrishae explained how she went about asking for the encouraging letters for the kids in her class from their parents.

“It was like two days before the test, I was like, ‘Hey, fill out this Google form, send an encouraging message to your child. I’ll write it, I’ll hand write it and then they will open it right before the test just to give them that boost of confidence from someone who loves them,’” she said.

She also mentioned what she did for those students whose parents may not have filled out and returned the form in time.

“So, in that case, I wrote those students letters,” she said.

What a terrific and caring teacher who understands the power that words hold.

Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider one another to provoke to love and to good works: not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much more, as you see the day approaching.”

Mission Accomplished!

Christian Couple Shares Message Of Peace And Prayer With Judge Caprio

One man and woman on a special mission stopped and shared their touching message with a benevolent and caring judge.

The world can be a sad, cruel and dangerous place. People can be unbelievably mean to one another. But then there are times when people can and will surprise with their kindness and love, seeking nothing in return. Judge Frank Caprio, on Caught in Providence, encountered two kind-hearted people in his courtroom.

A man and a woman appeared before Judge Caprio, not because of a ticket or a fine they received, but to share their message of peace and love with him.

A man, originally from Iraq, and a woman, born in Israel, who are now American citizens, stepped up to the microphone and talked about their reason for appearing in the courtroom. The woman began by mentioning how grateful they are to live in the United States and for the freedoms the country allows them.

“We love this country and the freedom I have today, I would never in my country,” she said. “I won’t be able to pray to God and talk to God like I pray to God and talk to God if I didn’t have the chance to come to America and make a life for myself in America.”

She added that because of the freedoms they both enjoy in the United States, they feel compelled to help others.

“And because we want to pay it forward, we love this country so much and what this country gave to us, that we just go around and visit the state, because we are now Americans and we part of this nation, too. And we pray, everywhere we go, we pray for the homeless. We feed the homeless. We pray for people. And we tell people we love this country because it gave us so much. We want to give back,” she said.

She added that they visit sites where devastating and horrific tragedies have happened and pray for the people impacted by those incidents.

The couple's mission and message touched Judge Caprio. Before the clip ends, he had one request for the couple.

“I would ask, at some point after you leave, if you would remember us in your prayers,” he said. “I would really appreciate that, and I promise, we will pray for you as well.”

2 Corinthians 13:11 “Finally, brothers, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, living in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.”

17-Month-Old Baby Playing the Piano Might Be The Future Mozart

One infant showed off his startling and shocking aptitude for one musical instrument.

Children are capable of much more than most people give them credit for. The mind of a child is like a sponge. During their formative years, as they explore and experience things for the first time, they absorb a ton of information. That’s why a healthy and loving environment for a child to grow up in is crucial for their development. It can set the tone for the rest of their life.

However, then there are children who seem to be naturally gifted. Some may come out of the womb being able to do this or that with a surprising level of skill. A video posted to YouTube shows a child, a 17-month-old, who appears to be a virtuoso on the piano.

The child, while sitting on an adult’s lap, tickles the ivories, showing an insane amount of dexterity and skill. The infant uses both hands and multiple fingers to play the keys.

Even at the child’s young age, he seems to have an understanding of what keys make what sound, where they are and what keys sound best together. It’s startling to see someone so young and obviously gifted play the piano with such skill and confidence.

Most children that young man’s age would likely use their hands and arms to slam and press down on the keys. Not this guy. Instead, he gently and methodically plays the musical instrument with an astounding level of grace and finesse.

His playing would likely put a lot of other people completely to shame.

It's kind of mind-boggling to imagine what this child might be able to do on the piano in a year, five years or even further into the future. God has clearly blessed this child with an absurd amount of musical ability.

Proverbs 22:6 “Train a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Pizza Delivery Driver Trips Suspected Car Thief Running From Cops

Tyler Morrell, a pizza delivery driver, trips a suspected car thief running from the cops.

In this wild video, it was just like any other work day for Tyler, who works as a pizza delivery man for Cocco’s Aston Pizza, was delivering pizza to a customer in a neighborhood.

When he arrived at the front door of the customer’s house, he was alarmed by screeching tires behind him. The homeowner could be heard stating, “That’s a high-speed chase.” When Tyler turned around, he saw a car drive onto a neighbor's lawn and a man running away from the car. Seconds later, the police arrive to try and apprehend the fleeing suspect.

As Tyler walks up to the sidewalk, he watches a man running towards him and the cops on hot on his trail. Tyler knew he needed to help when he swiftly sticks his foot out to trip the suspect while still holding his delivery. Tyler’s quick thinking sends the man tumbling to the ground and into the custody of the police.

Unbothered by the wild events, Tyler delivers the large pepperoni pizza to his customer on time and unscathed! It was still hot and fresh. Later, Tyler’s boss gave Tyler credit on their Instagram page for his quick thinking. They wrote, “Special shoutout to our delivery driver Tyler, who assisted the Brookhaven police today and STILL delivered the pizza unharmed!!”

He said he’s always wanted to do something heroic, and I say this is pretty heroic. He put his job and integrity on the line to do what needed to be done. The police department is also thankful for Tyler’s quick actions.

We need more people like Tyler in the world. Even though he is incredibly humble about his actions, we are thankful for men like him. He had no problem stepping up and helping when it was needed the most.

“Be of good courage, and let us be courageous for our people, and for the cities of our God, and may the Lord do what seems good to him,” 2 Samuel 10:12

Heartwarming Moment Boy With Down Syndrome Meets Donald Duck

One child with a disability had a sweet encounter with his favorite animated character.

Over the years, Disney has created dozens of beloved films and characters that hold a special place in the hearts of many. Disney’s beloved theme parks all over the world provide visitors with the unique opportunity to meet those historic characters.

In Central Florida, Disney has four iconic theme parks – Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. It was at Hollywood Studios where one special and heartwarming moment took place.

AAsher Lilles is a young man who suffers from Down syndrome and also has non-verbal apraxia, according to ABC6. AAsher also happens to love Donald Duck and during a trip to Hollywood Studios, he got to meet the cartoon duck.

In the clip posted on YouTube, AAsher, who is dressed just like his favorite cartoon character, stands and waits behind a park employee. Seconds into the video, Donald runs up to the little guy with his arms wide open.

But instead of a hug, Donald spins around frantically several times before finally giving the young man a loving embrace. Donald then positions AAsher in order to get a good look at his outfit, which is the exact same one the duck is wearing.

Before the clip ends, Donald and AAsher shake their behinds together at the camera.

At Disney’s many theme parks around the world, dreams really do come true every day. Families use valuable vacation time to visit those parks because they know they’ll make cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

AAsher’s precious and heartwarming encounter with Donald Duck is likely something he and his family will remember forever. A little bit of kindness can make someone’s entire day, which the video perfectly illustrates.

Colossians 3:12 “Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering.”

Stranger Surprises 3 Workers At Home Depot With Trip To Disneyland

Disneyland is often described as the “happiest place on Earth,” and for three men, that world-famous tagline proved to be 100 percent correct.

Life can be an uncompromising and unforgiving grind. The daily struggle to make a living can wear even the most resilient and positive person down. As the popular Loverboy states, most people are “working for the weekend,” just hoping for a small respite from the job.

Three gentlemen standing in a Home Depot parking lot were treated to a brief relief from the daily grind. A video posted to TikTok shows Jesús Morales pulling into the hardware store’s parking lot looking for three people to surprise with a day at Disneyland.

Jesús pulls up near the three guys in the parking lot and, speaking in Spanish, informs them he is “looking for three workers.” They all immediately agree, but Jesús tells them the work will be strenuous.

“The work is going to be heavy,” Jesús tells them.

He then lets the men in on their burdensome assignment for the day: “We’re going to Disneyland,” Jesús says.

After climbing into the car, one of the men already expresses gratitude for the unexpected trip before the vehicle has even left the parking lot.

“Thank you for this support that you gave us and let’s go enjoy and smile a bit,” the man says.

The rest of the video is of the three men enjoying the park’s many classic rides, including Splash

Mountain and the teacups at the Mad Tea Party, while they don the iconic Mickey Mouse ears hat. They also take in one of the park's many parades. Smiles and laughter abound.

But that’s not all. At the end of the video, each of the three men receives $200 in cash.

A break from reality, even a small one, can make a world of difference to someone struggling and battling to make it through the workweek.

Galatians 6:10 “So then, as we have the chance, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the family of the faith.”

‘God, You Can Do Anything’ Mother Exclaims After Baby’s Miraculous Revival

One grateful mother is praising God after her child started breathing after being declared dead.

Throughout the Bible are mentions of various miracles. Whether it be the parting of the Red Sea in Exodus, God speaking to Moses through a burning bush or Jesus feeding 5,000 in Matthew, God’s Word tells of His miraculous works. However, the Lord is still a God capable of performing stunning and inexplicable works today. One couple knows this firsthand.

Magali Lorenzi, a woman in California, came across the most terrifying scene possible for a parent: a child not moving or breathing. It happened after Magali’s husband, Pablo Lorenzi, checked on the couple’s six children who were playing in their backyard following church. However, 19-month-old Sophia was nowhere to be found, according to a video posted on YouTube.

That’s when the couple discovered the gate to their pool and jacuzzi area was open. Sophia was found in the jacuzzi. The couple believes the child had been underwater for nearly 15 minutes.

“When I found her, I was just in shock,” Pablo said. “My heart just dropped, and I grabbed her really quick, and I screamed as hard as I could, you know, for help.”

The child, who did not respond to CPR attempts, was transported to the hospital for treatment. After arriving at the hospital, one of the doctors declared the child dead. However, things took an unexpected turn.

A nurse, less than 20 minutes after the doctor said the child was dead, witnessed Sophia breathing.

“How can you explain that scientifically?” Magali said. “God is intervening. He was, He intervened in that moment.”

Doctors reported that the incident did result in a loss of oxygen to Sophia’s brain. But an examination performed days later showed “none of her other organs were damaged.”

Sophia’s father, in the video, reports that his daughter has opened her eyes and has been moving her hands and arms.

“There is no doubt after I saw the miracle, I said, 'God, you can do anything,’” Magali said.

What a mighty God we serve!

Middle School Student Uses Allowance to Help Bullied Classmate

One young man went out of his way to display incredible kindness for a fellow classmate who was being bullied.

Childhood is often a wonderful time in life. It’s generally a period filled with friends and fun. Homework is the biggest concern for most kids. But for some children, childhood can be a tad tougher, bullying from their peers can make life miserable. A little kindness and consideration can make a bullying victim’s life and outlook a bit brighter.

On The Kelly Clarkson Show, the “Miss Independent” singer spoke to a child who stepped up to help a bullying victim and the young man who received the kindness.

Melo, a 7th grader, noticed one of his fellow classmates, Melvin, was being teased and bullied for his appearance. Melo wanted to do something to help provide Melvin some comfort. So, Melo, a 12-year-old young man, dipped into his own personal funds, his allowance, and bought Melvin shoes.

Melo admitted to Kelly that he badly wanted to help Melvin because he had been in a similar situation.

“Doing this was so important to me,” Melo said. “When I saw Melvin getting bullied in class, it really hurt me in a way because when I was younger, I got bullied because of my height.”

Melvin had nothing but gratitude for the extraordinary act of kindness of love. He wished other people would use Melo’s move and learn from it.

“I’m very grateful for what Melo did for me,” Melvin said. “I wish other kids could be just like Melo, helping others out.”

Melo, with empathy, love and kindness, helped make Melvin’s day and life a little bit better. With tennis shoes, Melo showed concern and care for Melvin.

What an excellent reminder to stop and consider what others are going through and think about how we might be able to make their situation a tad better.

Ephesians 4:32 “And be kind to one another, full of pity, having forgiveness for one another, even as God in Christ had forgiveness for you.”
