Country music superstar Tim McGraw had some sweet, kind words for a young woman who made him a piece of jewelry.

Athletes, actors, musicians and anyone in a prominent and highly visible position hold massive influence over others, especially children. Their words and actions can impact others who look up to them. Often, a little kindness and love from a recognizable actress or musician can be a lasting, unforgettable memory for someone.

Tim McGraw’s actions and words did just that for a young woman and her father.

Berkeley and her dad, Mason, had tickets to one of Tim’s upcoming concerts. Ahead of the concert, Berkley came up with a unique idea. She wanted to make the “Live Like You Were Dying” singer a bracelet. 

But this would not be just any piece of jewelry. Berkeley and her dad personalized the bracelet. The two included the initials of Tim’s wife and three daughters. However, while they spent time making the bracelet, there was no guarantee they would be able to give it to him.

But things soon took an unexpected turn.

“We actually got the opportunity to do a meet-and-greet with Tim before the concert, which is like a mind blow and so special,” Mason said. “We were standing kind of up on a balcony. And Tim, we didn’t realize, but Tim was gonna, was walking by us to go into his dressing room or changing room.”

Mason mentioned that he, at first, didn’t see the “Over and Over” singer, but Tim spotted Berkeley.

“And I looked to my left, and he had stopped and was kneeling down with Berkeley and was talking to her,” Mason said. “And Berkeley just had the bracelet and was like, ‘I made you something.’”

Tim thanked her and accepted the young woman’s gift. 

But then during the show, Tim, while wearing the bracelet, gave Berkeley a shout-out. He told the crowd that Berkeley had made the bracelet, especially for him. 

“So, thank you, Berkeley,” Tim said. “I really appreciate it. Thank you so much, sweetie.”

Tim’s kindness and appreciation are something that Berkley and her father, Mason, will remember for the rest of their lives.

Ephesians 4:32 “And be kind to one another, full of pity, having forgiveness for one another, even as God in Christ had forgiveness for you.”

A whole pool of people showed their support for a young man as he stepped out and tried something new for the first time.

In life, most new experiences come with anxiety and increased blood pressure. Most people have at least a tiny fear of the unknown. Why wouldn’t we? That only makes sense, right? We’ve never done this particular thing before. How will it go? What will happen? Will it be painful? Will I fail and make a fool of myself?

These and other questions are just some thoughts that start to swirl around in someone’s mind when they contemplate trying something new and unknown. Additionally, the fears those questions represent are why individuals often hold themselves back from trying or experiencing something else.

A video posted on YouTube shows the difference a little bit of encouragement and support can make when these fears arise. 

The clip shows a pool of people enjoying themselves as they try to escape the heat and humidity. In the distance, dead center in the frame is a diving board. Several people stand near the board, waiting for their turn to jump off the diving apparatus. 

Seconds into the short video, a young man, a 5-year-old, walks out onto the edge of the diving board. Text in the video informs viewers that this is the first jumping attempt for the child. It would only make sense that the child was feeling a bit apprehensive about leaping from such a height.

But then something unexpected happens! 

Almost as if they sensed the child was considering nixing his jump, everyone in the pool began clapping and cheering for the young man. Following this tremendous show of support, the child jumps, even showing a bit of athleticism on the way down.

Joshua 1:9 “Have I not given you orders? Take heart and be strong; have no fear and do not be troubled; for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Check out this video of students reading emotional letters to their teachers, sharing about how they changed their lives.

At the beginning of the video, the teachers come into the room, sit on a couch, and are asked if they know why they are there. And they have no idea. Little do they know, they are about to be surprised by students who have written them a letter of love and appreciation.

“I invited my radio teacher, Joe Bryant,” one girl says to the camera. “I wrote Joe a letter because Joe is such an impactful and amazing person in my life.”

This young woman’s teachers told her that she had a voice made for radio, and that really had an impact on her. “For my whole life, I’ve always been insecure about my voice. And I was told a lot growing up that my voice was too low for a girl. And I was mimicked for having a speech impediment. Because of you, Joe, I learned to be less insecure about my voice and not care about what other people said.”

She continued: “I wanna take this opportunity to explain to you how you’ve impacted my life. My freshman year, I was going through some very hard times with my mental health, but you changed this. You saved my life, Joe. And without you, I doubt I would be here right now.”

Other students told stories in their letters about being bullied and how they found a safe haven in their teacher’s classrooms and would love spending time talking to them. They shared how their teacher’s guidance and attention made such an impact in their lives and how appreciative they were to be their student.

“Teaching is a really, really hard job, and you rarely get to hear that from your students,” one teacher says after watching the emotional video of her student reading her letter. “This is why I became a teacher. This is everything to me.”

After being rescued from a slaughterhouse in Asia, one animal eventually found a happy, loving forever home.

It’s often said that dogs are man’s best friends. They are dependable, loyal and caring animals. However, sadly, humans can mistreat man’s best friend. Instead of providing them with the kindness and love they deserve, the dogs receive cruelty or even neglect. 

A clip posted on YouTube shows the long, heartbreaking and tear-jerking path to happiness for one furry, four-legged creature, Lavery. As the clip points out, Lavery’s story began in Southeast Asia. Lavery was saved from a slaughterhouse for dogs in Cambodia. 

People with a global animal welfare charity came across Lavery, who was understandably shy and scared, locked in a cage at the Asian slaughterhouse. After shutting down the facility and rescuing all the dogs found at the slaughterhouse, Lavery began a new life in the United States.

The frightened pup was placed in a San Diego foster home. This adjustment would take some time for Lavery.

“He was so scared and shy, with his tail between his legs, and shaking when we picked him up,” Lavery’s foster mom said. 

Days later, Lavery started to adjust. He became more confident with his new surroundings as his tail raised a little during walks.  

He eventually wanted a friend, trying on several occasions to play with the couple’s older dog. Unfortunately, Lavery’s attempts were, for the most part, in vain. 

After two weeks in foster care, Lavery was like a brand-new dog. That scared and nervous energy evaporated into a playful and fun-loving animal. 

Soon after the dog turned a huge corner, Lavery’s foster mom mentioned that they received an application, which sounded perfect for the rescued pup. A family of two adults was looking for a second pet, a playmate for their dog, Larry.

“It’s almost too good to be true,” Lavery’s foster mom said.

Ryan and Karen instantly fell in love with Lavery and decided to adopt him, adding Lavery to their loving home. While Lavery was initially nervous and unsure about his new home, he soon warmed up. By the end of the first day in his new home, he was sound asleep, between Ryan’s legs.

Lavery may not have started off in the best situation, but he eventually found his loving forever home.

Rescue crews in the air and on the ground worked together to find a young child who had gone missing in an Ohio cornfield.

As anyone lucky enough to have become a parent will confirm, it is life’s greatest blessing. Children bring so much joy and happiness to a parent’s life. However, their inquisitive nature and penchant for exploration can cause parents to experience considerable anxiety and worry.

A clip posted on YouTube details the dread and fear 3-year-old Ilya’s parents experienced when they first discovered he was missing. However, that same video also displays the precise moment when the young man was found safe in the field. 

In the moments after young Ilya’s disappearance, his parents were understandably frightened and struck with overwhelming panic.

“It was unreal,” Bella Dunin said. “When I first heard that he was missing, I got so stressed that I think I went numb.”

But, as the video points out, Ilya’s parents reached out to the state police for help. Soon after they called the authorities, informing them of their missing child, 100 police and volunteers joined the search for the 3-year-old boy.

Thankfully, after searching for the young man for nearly three hours, Ilya had been spotted. A helicopter pilot located the young man in a beanfield. The clip details how the crews on the ground and in the air worked with one another. The pilot in the copter directed people on the ground right to the child’s location.

Thank the Lord! A potentially devastating disaster had been avoided.

After people on the ground reached the child, they gave the pilot a thumbs up, signaling the young man was OK.

There were no injuries to the child reported. But he had somehow managed to lose his shoes. He was also said to be “soaking wet,” according to the video.

Proverbs 22:6 “If a child is trained up in the right way, even when he is old, he will not be turned away from it.”

A young man born with a physical disability is not allowing his impairment to slow down his development.

Many people have the nasty habit of looking at someone and making instant, snap judgments. This is especially true when it comes to those with disabilities. Solely based on either their physical or mental disabilities, people will try to gauge what someone can do before even getting to know them. 

But, as has been shown, time and again, people can surprise and achieve more than many thought possible. Once again, that is true for people with disabilities and, for one young man in particular. 

A short video on YouTube shows a blind toddler making his way down a set of stairs. As the narrator in the video points out, these are Vinny’s first steps down a flight of stairs. 

Vinny, as he heads down the steps, takes it slow and easy. He uses a special cane, which is designed specifically for blind toddlers. The cute little guy uses his right hand to hold onto and guide the cane. He uses his left hand to feel and touch the railing. 

Who would have ever thought that a blind child could maneuver a flight of stairs by themselves? But apparently, the device used by Vinny allows the child to walk around without the assistance of someone else. 

Vinny, even at his young age, displayed a lot more courage than most people on an average day. He refuses to let his physical disability keep him from learning how to do for himself and to act independently. 

As the child makes it all the way down the steps, he beats the cane hard against the floor, ensuring that there are no more steps in front of him. Vinny’s huge accomplishment is met with cheers.

What a beautiful moment of a child doing, likely, what most thought to be impossible for someone his age.

One driver’s shrewd and risky traffic maneuver put themselves in danger but likely saved a child from injury and possibly even death.

In order to operate a motor vehicle efficiently and safely, one must adhere to several rules and traffic laws. Keep your hands at 10 and 2. Check the mirrors. Always wear a seatbelt and monitor your speed. These are just a few things a driver’s education instructor will repeat ad nauseam.

However, for the most part, the rules of the road can be summarized nicely as “always remain alert to the surroundings.” Like anything else in life, paying attention to what is going on is always a good rule of thumb, especially when it involves driving a car.

A driver staying alert and paying attention to their surroundings most likely saved a young child from sustaining a devastating injury. 

A clip posted on YouTube gives the driver’s point of view as the vehicle heads down the road in Adelaide, Australia, on July 17. Everything appears to be fine, with traffic moving as normal. However, seconds into the short clip the driver spots an odd and frightening scene. 

The driver notices a child standing alone in the middle of the road on a busy highway. Thankfully, the driver in the clip saw the child early enough that they were able to slow down, cross the median and then pull over into the oncoming lanes of traffic.

The vehicle provided a protective barrier for the child, keeping approaching cars from slamming into the youngster. Soon after the vehicle drives into the wrong lanes, the child can be spotted leaving the roadway and darting into a nearby subdivision.

The clip ends with the truck crossing back into the correct lanes of traffic and coming to a stop. It’s unclear why the vehicle stopped, but one would imagine the driver was getting out to check on the child. 

John 15:13 “Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” 

One father struggled to keep it together after dropping his little girl off at college.

As every parent knows and understands, children can be tiring, frustrating and even overwhelming. However, parents would not trade time spent with their children for anything. It seems like no time, and they are all grown up, moving out and ready to handle life on their own.

A video posted on TikTok shows one who seems to slowly come to the realization that one chapter of his life has drawn to a close. In the clip, as the video’s caption points out, a father watches as he drops his daughter off at college.

The man’s wife was the person who captured the moving and heartfelt moment.

“Caught my husband watching his life walk away from him after we dropped her off at college,” she wrote in the video’s caption. 

The father stands and stares off into the distance. For most of the 20-second video, the dad appears to be on the verge of tears. However, at one point, a big smile comes over his face. The reason for the man’s momentary smile is due to his daughter turning back and looking at him, according to Sunny Skyz. 

But soon enough, after the smile, the man’s face returns to its near-tears state. 

The sweet display of emotion, love and care from the father is enough to cause even the most stoic and unemotional people to shed a tear or two. 

Many people responded to the precious moment on TikTok.

“Give the man a tissue! No give him a hug! Don’t mind me, I'm in tears too!” one person wrote.

“Aweeeee his “world” is in a new place and he can’t bubble wrap her and keep her safe now,” a second person added.

“My daughter is only 10 months old and I’m already scared of this moment,” a third TikTok user posted.

A woman who works in a California laundromat helped save a kidnapped 13-year-old girl after the teen displayed a “help me” sign.

The world is a sad, lonely and often dangerous place. It will leave people broken and scarred. Not even children and teenagers are safe from the savage and treacherous ways of the world. But thankfully, one woman helped to save a teenager who had been kidnapped and sexually assaulted.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a laundromat worker, Touch Vong, recalls the scary incident and how she helped to detain 61-year-old Steven Sablan. 

The 61-year-old is accused of kidnapping the young girl, taking her from San Antonio, Texas to Long Beach, California, and sexually assaulting her several times.

While in Long Beach, the man stopped in a laundromat to wash some clothes, at some point, he approached Touch and asked where he might be able to find something to eat in the area. 

Instead of telling the man that the restaurants in the area normally don't open on a Sunday, she invited him to stick around because they may open. 

During her interaction with the suspect, Touch mentioned she sensed something was off about the situation. 

When the man was in the laundromat, the kidnapped teenager in the car created a sign which read, “Help me.” She flashed it at several cars driving by. Thankfully, someone stopped and called 911.

As a result of the call, and Touch’s response about food, police arrested the man. 

Touch credits God with assisting with the rescue of the kidnapped 13-year-old.

“I feel happy,” she said. “I feel like God told me to stop him. That’s how she got rescued.”

Psalm 82:3-4 “Give ear to the cause of the poor and the children without fathers; let those who are troubled and in need have their rights. Be the savior of the poor and those who have nothing: take them out of the hand of evildoers.”

One woman burst into tears when she realized she had officially become a grandmother.

Becoming a parent and welcoming a child into the world is one of life’s biggest blessings. Children add so much joy, happiness and love to one’s life. Watching them grow and learn is unlike anything else in life. 

For those who are grandparents, all of that is true. But grandma and grandpa get a few added perks. They get to spoil their grandchildren with love and anything else their hearts desire. But the children return home with their parents at the end of the day. Grandparents get the fun parts without all the crying and tantrums.

Like becoming a parent, being a grandmother or grandfather is another blessing from the good Lord.

A clip posted on YouTube shows the moment a woman learns she is a grandmother. The tears immediately begin flowing – from the new grandmother and the new mom.

The short video begins with the new grandmother walking into the room as she looks down at her phone. She has no idea that her daughter has given birth, delivering her first grandchild, a beautiful baby girl.

The clip’s narrator informs viewers that the daughter didn’t tell her mother that she had gone into labor. Apparently, she wanted the arrival of the child to be a surprise. 

And it was the best surprise possible!

The camera catches the new grandmother as she approaches the hospital bed and her stunned first look at her daughter holding the baby. The woman stops dead in her tracks. She looks at the camera for a second or two and is then overcome with emotion.

She approaches her daughter and grandchild and wraps them both up in a warm and loving embrace. Through her happiness and tears, the new grandmother even waves off the camera capturing the tender moment.

She is going to love being a grandmother!

One man’s beautiful marriage proposal in the airport had many watching and wiping away tears as they looked upon the tear-jerking scene.

Marriage, and the exchanging of vows, is a fantastic, life-long commitment between two people who love one another. The wedding ceremony is one between individuals who promise to stay together through the good and the bad. But before the bride can walk down the aisle to her groom, a particular question must be asked first.

A video posted on social media captures the moment one man proposed marriage to the love of his life. The man’s sweet words had everyone within earshot of the unique moment in tears at the Tampa International Airport. 

The short, 3-minute clip begins with the older gentleman giving the woman flowers, a bouquet of roses. He then plants a kiss on her lips and asks her to take a seat in front of him. 

After the woman finds a seat, the gentleman pulls out a blue box. It’s unclear what piece of jewelry is in the box. They exchange words, but those are also not discernible. However, those mysteries do not diminish this sweet moment at all. 

Seconds later, the man places a knee pillow on the ground, kneels and pulls out a piece of paper with prepared words. It’s now clear to everyone what is about to take place. 

Before he asks her the question, he goes through their long, personal history that spans six decades.

“My dearest Nancy, it’s been 60 years since we first met,” the older gentleman says. “Fifty-six years since we first dated and 10 years since I saw you last and 20 days since we began. You have always been the one I’ve had a crush on since your cheerleader days.”

As the man goes through his prepared words, he picks up quite the crowd. Several travelers stop and take in the moment. Many even take out their phones to film the man proposing marriage to the woman he loves.

Rachel Platten, the singer of “Fight Song,” spent time with a remarkable young man who found inspiration and encouragement from her hit track.

Life is a series of unexpected and often unexplained events. Devastating and tragic occurrences, which alter the trajectory of our lives do take place. Those catastrophic circumstances do not discriminate. They can and do happen to anyone at any time. 

Scout Lawlor and his family know this reality all too well. As the clip posted on YouTube mentions, the young man was involved in a near-fatal automobile crash. The crash left Scout with extensive injuries to his brain.

In the clip, the young man mentions what happened to his body because of the devastating injuries.

“My body forgot everything,” Scout said. “How to walk, how to talk, how to breathe.”

The young man, following the crash, was in for an uphill battle as he started his long road to recovery. As anyone knows who has ever encountered something similar, the road to recovery is filled with many tears and setbacks. 

It was during these instances of extreme frustration and disappointment that Scout’s mother encouraged her son to continue by singing Rachel’s “Fight Song.” 

Scout, in a surprise video call, confessed to the musician how he's been inspired by her song.

“I get it from the ‘Fight Song,’ Scout said. “Literally, it means so much to me.”

In the clip, Rachel responds by telling the young man he has been selected for a unique purpose. 

“You are incredible,” she said. “You know what? You are, you have a big mission in this life.”

Scout mentions that ever since he was involved in the tragic accident, he has reminded himself over and over about why his life was spared.

“Ever since the car accident, I’ve been, like, ‘Well, I clearly have something really big to do, to work up to in my life,’” Scout states.

Rachel, through tears, states her wholehearted agreement with Scout’s statement.

“Yes, you do.”

1 Thessalonians 5:11 “So then, go on comforting and building up one another, as you have been doing.”

Several people testified about God's wondrous and miraculous works in their lives without saying a word as a band performed a beloved and classic hymn.

Life is an experience often filled with problems, issues and struggles. Everyone will encounter their fair share of agonizing situations and heartaches. Unfortunately, no one will escape this life unscathed and without feeling pain at one time or another. 

Thankfully, there is One who has promised that He will never leave or forsake us during these periods. Even in instances when it may not feel or look like it, God is still at work and remains in control.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a group of musicians performs “Blessed Assurance” as people walk out onto the stage carrying cardboard signs. 

“Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God
Born of His spirit, washed in His blood”

Every sign tells the story of pain, hurt or loss. The signs mention the death of a loved one, experiencing abuse as a child and addiction to drugs and alcohol. However, thankfully that is not the end. Every one of those individuals then flips their signs over, revealing that they have overcome those deep hurts and struggles thanks to God’s abundant power, love and mercy.

The short, 6-minute video, filled with people testifying how God forgave their sins and comforted them during a heartache, is enough to move even the most stoic and unemotional person to tears. 

The world is full of people who have been hurt but God, through His unending love and grace, offers forgiveness and comfort for those who call upon His name. 

What a beautiful clip that perfectly demonstrates the wonderful and life-changing works of God! 

Psalm 23:4 “Yes, though I go through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me.”

On her wedding day, a bride made the unusual decision and had not one or two but 15 different men walk her down the aisle.

Weddings are momentous and often emotional occasions where two people exchange vows, promising to remain together through the good and the bad. While most of the attention remains focused on the couple getting hitched, weddings are about more than those two. 

A video posted on YouTube shows how weddings are also about the people who have played a role in our lives until that point. A bride had 15 different men – her brother, her in-laws, childhood coaches and others – walk her down the aisle on her big day.

As she reached the altar, the minister asked, “Who gives this woman to marry this man?” In a show of support and love, all the men answered, “We do.” 

These men stepped up and played a pivotal role in this young woman’s life. They all filled a void left by her biological father. 

As the narrator in the clip explains, the woman grew up with an abusive father. When she was only 16 years old, the woman helped put her father behind bars. 

The short clip states that the woman, who now works in law enforcement as a police officer, married the love of her life on July 15, 2023. The video ends by informing viewers that her husband is also a member of law enforcement. He is a sheriff’s deputy, according to the video.

Yes, weddings are about the love between the couple standing at the altar and saying, “I do.” But as the video shows, this young woman used her wedding day to thank the men who stepped up, loved and supported her throughout life.

What a beautiful and precious moment! It’s one that the bride and the many men who walked her down the aisle will never forget.

Using his guitar, one man turned in a musical demonstration that was literally out of this world.

God is an artist, with his beautiful creation readily on display. Earth is filled with lush landscapes, marvelous mountain ranges and breathtaking, deep blue oceans. Only an all-powerful being with an eye and appreciation for beauty could have designed something so awe-inspiring. 

However, not only did God create the planet and all its inhabitants, but He also placed the sun, moon and stars in place. Humans have begun exploring space, but there is much more to be learned about that part of the Lord’s creation. 

In a clip posted on Twitter, an astronaut demonstrated how to play a musical instrument while in space. The individual in the clip, according to Sunny Skyz, is astronaut Chris Hadfield. 

As Chris shows, playing the guitar in space may be easier than on earth. He mentions that a guitar strap is unnecessary, given the lack of gravity in space. The instrument floats right in front of him, hanging in the air, allowing him to strum the chords. 

Also, he adds that the guitar's strings act the same way they do on earth.

Chris then goes on to demonstrate playing the guitar in space. For a few seconds, he plays what sounds to be the intro to The Animals’ hit, “House of the Rising Sun.”

In addition to the guitar hanging in space, the microphone also stays nearly still in the air, the clip displays. It captures the sound as Chris plays the instrument. 

Before the clip ends, Chris mentions how the instrument helps astronauts learn more about space.

“And it’s nice not having to carry the weight around your neck,” he said. “And it’s just wonderful to be able to play guitar as another human way to try and understand this incredible new experience of leaving the earth.”

One simple but thoughtful gesture from his fellow employees on his birthday caused a man to break down and become emotional.

No one enjoys getting older. As such, most adults don’t enjoy their birthdays, or at least not as much as they did during childhood. Birthdays are a prominent reminder of the inevitable and unfortunate aging process. However, despite getting older, everyone enjoys knowing someone cares and appreciates them on their special day.

A video posted on YouTube shows just how much one gentleman appreciated the fact that his coworkers remembered his birthday. 

The short clip begins with the birthday boy, Leo, moving about in what appears to be an industrial-sized kitchen. Seconds after the video starts, someone off-camera is heard singing, “Happy birthday.” 

The individual narrating the clip informs viewers that it has been quite some time since Leo has received a birthday cake. That was something his coworkers wanted to change.

As the video continues, the camera gets closer to Leo, he starts pacing around the kitchen. It’s almost as if he’s trying to avoid the person headed toward him, knowing he’s likely to shed a tear or two. 

However, the woman with the cake and the person behind the camera are not deterred. They continue to approach Leo, who attempts to avoid eye contact with them or the camera. Eventually, Leo faces the camera and immediately takes his arms to his eyes. 

The kindness from his coworkers touched Leo, causing him to become emotional. 

What a beautiful and touching moment! 

It may have just been a cake and some singing, but it’s clear that that simple act of kindness and love meant so much to Leo. Acknowledging an individual and showing them that you care and appreciate them can make all the difference to them.

One man in Oklahoma gave police officers a hand when he tackled the fleeing suspect to the ground.

Officers see and interact with some of society's worst elements on a regular basis. Law enforcement is always called to the scene whenever something goes wrong - a fatal crash, a shooting or a domestic disturbance. A police officer’s job can be stressful, to say the least. 

However, a video posted to YouTube shows how one citizen helped to make a terrible situation for a police officer a lot better. The short video begins with an officer politely asking a man in a black shirt, gray shorts and a hat to sit on the side of a busy street. The man had initially been stopped for illegally crossing the street, according to the clip. 

However, instead of taking up the officer on his request, the suspect starts running. He darts across the street with the officer giving chase, only a few steps behind.

But the suspect’s advantage begins to grow. He starts getting further and further away from the officer. The suspect and the officer make it to the other side of the road, with the suspect 

running his way up the sidewalk. Little does he know that he has someone waiting for him.

The video shows a man in an orange t-shirt standing and waiting as the suspect approaches. 

The man then leaps in toward the suspect. He grabs the suspect and tackles him, bringing him down to the ground.

That suspect has been stopped dead in his tracks due to the concerned citizen.

Following the incident, the officer called what Ty Clem, the man who grabbed the suspect, did “amazing.”

“To get all that on bodycam footage, and just to witness it firsthand, it’s pretty amazing,” Officer Josh Metcalf said.

A woman battling cancer had a furry, four-legged best friend anxiously awaiting her return home, and their sweet reunion is enough to cause even the most stoic person to shed a tear.

Cancer is an evil word. Cancer does nothing but harm and destroys. It’s a life-changing diagnosis that’s hard on everyone – the patient, their family and friends. Also, as one tear-jerking video shows, a cancer diagnosis is also challenging for patients' pets.

The clip posted on YouTube begins with Sola essentially picking up that something is wrong with her owner, Yun J. The animal hugs her owner and lets out a light whimper, almost signifying that it understands the situation. 

In the next scene, Yun J sits in a salon chair as a barber cuts her hair. Sola is then confronted with Yun J’s new haircut. Those who watch the clip will see the dog take in the change. Again, the animal seems to understand that the shift means something monumental is about to take place. 

The dog took this especially hard when Sola’s owner had to go away and stay at the hospital for several months. But before Yun J left for the medical facility, Sola added something to the suitcase. The dog places one of her toys in the luggage.

But as the video shows, even though they were away, Sola and Yun J managed to spend time together. Yun J would FaceTime with Sola, with the dog watching as she turned her head back and forth, taking in the picture and sounds of her best friend.

Then, nine months into her hospital stay, Sola finally interacts with Yun J again. Sola could not contain her excitement. She whimpered and whined with joy, practically jumping over her doggy sibling.

Before the clip concludes, Yun J makes her return home to her furry, four-legged best friend. Sola, once again, cannot contain herself. It’s a sweet and touching reunion between two best friends.

Animals are special beings. They are much smarter than most like to admit. Those furry, four-legged creatures continually show they are extremely intelligent and able to grasp the gravity and meaning of situations.
