An amazing night at Detroit's iconic Aretha Franklin's Jazz Cafe at the Music Hall was made even sweeter by all the guest artists that joined the band on stage. Case in point: singer/songwriter Noah Tatum with Sweet Crystal playing his original tune "Let Praise Arise"...how sweet was this?!!

Sweet Crystal's keyboardist/lead singer Marq Andrew Speck and super star David Winans II have a side musical project called "QTPi". Consider this video QTPi Deluxe as DW joins the whole Sweet Crystal band onstage at the iconic Aretha Franklin Jazz Cafe in Detroit. There is a whole lot of Detroit Music Awards represented on this stage, that's for sure. Enjoy and share!

Jesus Worship Live Concert with Lou Lollio: I Need to Dream

I’m pleased to share with you the premiere of my lyric video, “It Wasn’t a Silent Night After All.”

This song was a true gift. I came home from a Christmas Eve service at our church, and Something was pushing me that I recognized as a “song nudge,” so I sat down at my piano in my living room, and this song just came out.

The idea of the song is that when God chose to enter the world and become human, God didn’t choose perfect circumstances – so the song tries to capture the difficulty and the hardship of that holy night – because if God didn’t choose perfect circumstances when God came to earth, then that means God can enter into our imperfect circumstances too.

I brought the idea to my co-writer, Nancy Beaudette, and together we crafted the idea into a song that retells the Christmas Story from a different vantage point.

Maybe it can be a reminder that God didn’t come for perfect. God came in person – to real people and for all people, to show us how much He Loves us, and to save us with that Love.
