My soul waits silently for God,
My expectation is from Him.
I pour my heart out before Him,
He is a refuge for me.

His name is the Hope of all the world.
I will trust Him at all times.
He is my rock and my salvation,
I shall not be moved.

Even when there is no reason for hope,
I will keep on believing,
God is more than able,
To do what He says.

The Year of the Lord’s Favor

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me

to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.

This is my 12 yr old daughter singing. When she was 6 1/2 she was diagnosed with a Optic Glioma. She went thru months of chemotherapy and is doing pretty well now. It was songs like this that kept her going. She loves to sing.
