In this song we see God calling Moses at the Burning Bush, and how Moses then leads the Children of Israel out of the bondage of slavery in Egypt.

Having left Egypt we see that the Children of Israel appear to be trapped between the Red Sea and the wilderness, but God works with Moses to open the waters of the Red Sea so that they are finally able to escape from Pharaoh and his army.

At this point on Israel’s journey towards the Promised Land, Moses climbs the mountain of God and receives the words of God’s Law, the 10 Commandments.

This song basically sets the biblical account of the flood in Genesis chapters 6-9 to music.

The Fall of Adam and Eve
This song covers the Fall of Adam and Eve but it then goes on to consider how God sends Jesus Christ to earth, to deal with the sin which Adam and Eve introduced into mankind. The song concludes by considering how sinners in their pride arrogance and self-righteousness, are destroying the world of today and creating an increasingly dysfunctional society.

The symbol of a lighthouse can mean many different, inspiring principles. The main concept it represents is overcoming adversity and difficulties in life. All of us go through seasons in life where it feels like the adversity will never end. This music video represents the feeling of relief I feel when I realize I am going to get through the current trial and problems and I am feeling so grateful to Heavenly Father for the lessons learned.

The current lessons learned from my current adversities are as follows. Spread my net wide enough to “catch” new teachers to teach me the concepts to help me through the current storm. There are always people who have experienced much of the same trials that I am currently experiencing. They are often very open and willing to pass on to me coping strategies to make the situation bearable and a stepping stone to higher ground.

Another lesson is to keep up on my moral inventories of my day and my life so that I won’t fall back into the old patterns and coping mechanisms that are really ready to be discarded. I need to hold fast to new ways of functioning and most of all keep learning and growing.

A lighthouse usually spreads light over vast areas of darkness. If I am consistently learning and passing on the lessons to others, I can become a spiritual lighthouse to others who are struggling and holding on for one more day, week and onward for a lifetime on a similar journey that I have embarked on. Soon many lighthouses may dot an earlier dark horizon.

In May 2020, after not meeting in person for 3 months, members of Doha Fellowship, non-denominational church in Doha, Qatar, Middle East, decided to film a video worshiping together from their own homes.

Charles Parker is a triple threat, who not only can sing and play guitar but also writes on a level far above most of his peers. His unique music is a place where country, folk and rock cross paths on the way to a remarkably contemporary sound. Through his work being a professional musician in cover bands and tribute bands, Parker is a seasoned performer who is known for his strong work ethic, passion for music and determination to persevere. With his over 20 years of experience, the journey continues through the release of his new single “When Jesus Calls”.
Born and raised in Baltimore Maryland, Parker started life as a very shy kid. “My Mom bought me my first guitar when I was about 10 yrs old. She said she wanted me to be like Elvis. It took several years to actually learn how to play it. I spent my early years listening to 70's pop stars such as The Bay City Rollers, Partridge Family etc. Then I saw Kiss Alive 2 in the department store and that changed it all. No more Teen idol pop. My influences went from BCR to Kiss then the Metal years came in. Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and all the Hair Bands.
I learned to play everything I could. That’s why in my cover bands, we can pretty much play anything the audience asks for. I’ve been able to make a living as a full time musicians for quite a long time which is unheard of around here.”
Parker’s debut album as a solo artist, Bring Back The Sun, featured a sound that is big yet stripped down with infectious melodies and catchy hooks. “When I sat down to write the album Bring Back the Sun, I don’t remember really trying to do it, it sort of just came out. I just remember sitting down with an acoustic and strumming some chords and humming a melody.
Parker released his first single to Country radio in Sept 2017 "Bring back the Sun" which charted at #81 on the Country Music Breakout Chart. Recorded in Nashville throughout 2017-2018 with some of the best session players.
