This song was written by Brooke Fraser, now Brooke Ligertwood after her marriage, about awaiting Christ's glorious return. No one knows when that will happen, but the hope is that it will be "soon, and *very* soon". Of course the imagery of brides here is symbolic of the bride of Christ, His church.

Often that is nothing more than simply listening and demonstrating that we sincerely care. Our tendency is to want to try to fix things, but as the song says, we don't have to have the answers to all of life's questions, other than to remember that God is always the best answer.
I made this video at the request of someone who had seen another video I had made for a Jamie Slocum song. It's a song about repentance and redemption. The message of the song is that no matter what mistakes we have made in the past, Jesus' arms are always open and He will take us back, He will lead us home.

I am often reminded of this song when I am teaching Sunday School or Vacation Bible School or leading AWANA and a child sincerely says or asks something that just touches my heart and makes me realize "that's why God put me here, for such a time as this".
