‘Teach me how Your heart beats
And tether it to mine
The surgery is worth it
Get below the surface
Open up my eyes
I wanna see Heaven
So let Your kingdom come
I wanna see Heaven
So let Your kingdom come’
There is truly no one like our God in Heaven. The Lord changed us for the good. He made the ultimate sacrifice for us when He sent His only Son down from Heaven to die for our sins. Because of that amazing sacrifice, we are all saved and free to live out our days in Heaven above. God broke our chains and truly set us free. This was such a priceless gift and we are all blessed each and every day for the love from our Father. You are sure to be reminded of this as you listen to the powerful lyrics of ‘Heaven’ from Passion.
This Christian group always finds the perfect songs to give praise to His name. And they truly have a God-given talent for leading worship. These words are such an amazing reminder that when He washed our sins away, we truly were born again. It’s such an amazing feeling knowing that we have His love and strength behind us each and every step of the way.
I think that this song is an incredible way to give glory to the Lord to His name and let everyone know of the wonders of our God. Who else wants to join their voices together to worship our Lord?
It’s never an easy thing to lose a loved one, especially when you are just a teen or baby. 14-year-old Leah and her mom, Debbie, were very close. In fact, they were looking forward to going to see one of Leah’s favorite artists in concert. Leah and her mother would sing Pink songs all the time together, so they were both excited to see a live show. They had already purchased the tickets for the upcoming show in Australia but sadly, Debbie passed away in June and Leah was left heartbroken.
That’s when Leah’s aunt decided to step in and accompany her niece to the concert. Before they arrived, Leah wanted to make a sign, in hopes that Pink would see it. The sign read “My name is Leah – I’m 14 years old. I lost my beautiful Mom last month.
I would LOVE a hug… Please!” During the show, Pink spotted the teen in the crowd and stopped her entire show. She read the sign to the audience and immediately walked through the mass of fans to reach Leah. They embraced in the sweetest hug and you can see the tears streaming down Leah’s face. There’s no doubt that this special moment meant a lot to this young girl.
Pink’s music was something that brought Leah and her mother together and now it’s continuing to bring Leah good memories. And it’s so amazing that a huge superstar like Pink is able to take the time to be there when her fans need her.
Hayden was our typical college student who wasn’t sure exactly what she wanted to do with her life. She was feeling like she didn’t have a purpose when she was walking to class one day and felt a calling. She saw a ‘Be The Match’ sign and they were registering bone marrow donors.
She walked right over to the table and started to ask questions. Hayden eventually registered herself and shortly after, she received a phone call about a 1-year-old little girl who needed bone marrow to live. Hayden was a perfect match.
Little Skye wasn’t even a year old when she was diagnosed with leukemia. Her particular form of leukemia is very rare and only occurs in one in a million kids. Skye needed a bone marrow transplant right then. Thankfully, Hayden didn’t hesitate when she got the phone call and knew she would do whatever she needed to help out this little girl she didn’t even know.
Transplant donors and their recipients cannot share contact information until a year has elapsed. But as soon as that 1 year was up, Skye’s mom decided to contact Hayden. They formed a special relationship and started to talk and e-mail regularly.
Fast-forward 2 years and Hayden was getting married. She decided to invite Skye and her family all the way to Alabama for her wedding. The two had never met in person but today was finally going to be that day. And it was all caught on camera for these families to look back on for years to come. Who else is wiping away a tear right now?
There are times in life when we are faced with a decision that could change everything. Sometimes, it can be a difficult decision but other times you don’t have to think about it at all. That’s exactly what happened recently to log truck driver Ricky Broach. He was driving down the highway when he saw a school bus full of children.
The bus was turning and Ricky thought he was far enough away that he would have plenty of time to coast through. But there was a car blocking the road that the bus had to turn on, so it couldn’t move. Ricky and his log truck didn’t have enough time to brake so there were two options. Either the truck would hit the bus full of kids or it would go into the ditch.
Ricky didn’t hesitate when he turned the wheel and went right into the ditch. He risked his own life in order to make sure that the children would be safe from harm. “I never even thought about it. I just got the wheel and went,” Ricky said. And his quick thinking didn’t go unnoticed.
A woman who witnessed the moment posted on Facebook about how thankful she was for Ricky’s actions because 2 of her own children were on the bus at the time. Because of this log truck’s actions, her kids were safe and alive. Now, parents are calling Ricky a hero and are even planning to meet him in person to say thank you.
It’s never easy to watch an animal pass away. It’s especially difficult when we see animals on the side of the road that have become the victim of a car accident. We have all seen this before and it’s an extremely sad situation.
So, when 32-year-old Lauren Wagner and her friend, Sarah Wragge, spotted a deceased kangaroo on the roadside, they decided to U-turn and pull over. When they got closer to the animal, they noticed that the belly was still moving. So, Lauren got out of the car and went over to the kangaroo. That’s when she saw two legs sticking out of the mother’s pouch.
The little joey had survived the accident, even though his mother had passed on. Lauren knew she needed to act fast so she used both hands to pull the poor baby out. Lauren and Sarah wrapped the joey in a blanket and he was taken right to fauna rescue expert Sibylle Kaufmann.
It was such a bittersweet moment for this pair to rescue the baby knowing that the mother had passed on. But I’m so glad that these young women took a moment to stop and help an innocent animal when many people would have continued to drive on. Because of their quick actions, this joey is going to survive.
It’s truly an amazing moment and every second of this rescue was caught on camera. Now, people are commending Lauren and Sarah for their heroic actions and I’m doing the same. Thank you ladies!
Sometimes, accidents can happen in an instant and you could find yourself in a dangerous situation. That is exactly what happened to 87-year-old Mary Watkins, her son Larry and their pet Chihuahua.
The three were parked near a marina in Long Beach, California when the truck suddenly lurched forward and crashed right through the guardrail. The truck fell right into the water below and quickly started to fill with water. That is when Mike Del Grande, a towboat operator and former lifeguard, jumped right in the water to help save the victims. Along with other good Samaritans, he was able to pull everyone to safety, including the dog. Jeff Jones, who couldn’t believe what was happening right before his eyes, caught all the dramatic footage on camera.
Thankfully, everyone is okay and the hard work of all those who jumped into the water is being commended. Mary Watkins was in good spirits as she spoke about the incident. “The two guys came in the back window and they got in and shoved me up from the behind side.” All joking aside, this woman is very thankful to the kind strangers that day and wanted them to know, ‘I say thank you from the bottom of my heart.’
This situation could’ve had a completely different ending but the quick thinking of these good Samaritans allowed everyone to be safely rescued. There is no doubt in my mind that God put these men in the right place at the right time. Don’t you agree?
How does one transition from a downtrodden life in plantations to a challenging role in the White House? Jimmy Mosley, a military veteran turned Sunday school teacher, has been through all that and more. He tells his story in his book, “Outhouse to Whitehouse.”
Mosley’s life in the Deep South might break the spirit of other men. From poverty and oppression, he stood tall in the face of obstacles and challenges. His experience of racism and discrimination did not clip his wings; instead, he became stronger and ever more determined to succeed. The journey brought him to the White House where he was exposed further to the racist practices within the infamous ceremonial unit-serving. Despite it all, Mosley persevered and turned his fortunes around through his unwavering faith in God and commitment to better his life.

There is truly nothing better than hearing an incredible song performed a cappella. When you strip away all of the sound effects and instruments, a song can take on an entirely different feeling. There are so many talented a cappella groups out there and they all have something very unique.
Today, we get the chance to hear not one, but two of these amazing groups come together for an unforgettable performance. Vocal Majority is an all-male ensemble that is home to over 100 gentlemen. They are best known for their performances in the Barbershop Harmony Society where they are 130time Gold Medal Chorus Champions.
Now, this incredible group is teaming up with Voctave, another popular a cappella chorus and it’s one number that you don’t want to miss. Just listen as they stand on stage together and belt out the powerful lyrics of ‘A Million Dreams’ from ‘The Greatest Showman.’ This song has been covered hundreds of times by now, but I have definitely never heard a rendition quite like this.
These men and women truly have a gift for singing and I'm so glad they are sharing their voices for the entire world to hear. It's such a blessing to listen as all of these vocals come together in the most beautiful way.
I know it must have taken a lot of time and practice to perfect this arrangement, but these 2 groups make it look easy. Who else wants to hear more from both of these a cappella choirs?
I think each and every one of us has either been a victim of or witnessed a bullying attack sometime in our lives. It’s a horrible epidemic that seems to be becoming more and more common, especially in our schools. Our news is filled with heartbreaking stories about students losing their lives because of bullying and it’s a trend that needs to stop.
This man knows the dangers of bullying and he’s putting out a tearful message to bring awareness to this growing problem. Standing in a cemetery, we learn that this man lost his brother when they were children. Their parents were deaf, so both children had a difficult time learning English, since their first language was sign language. Bullies at school always made fun of this man’s brother because he talked funny, but he had a very good friend that would stand up for him.
Sadly, that best friend moved away and this man’s brother was left with just the bullies to try and play with. At the age of 8, his brother went out to the lake with a group of bullies and, ultimately, he drowned. His brother’s death left a hole in this man’s heart, but he knew that he needed to bring awareness to the subject of bullying those who are deaf or children of deaf adults. Even though this may be difficult to watch, this man truly brings up an important issue. Together, we can all make the world a better place for the next generation.
‘O say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming'
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming'
There’s no doubt that little Garrett has a lot of love for his country. This sweet little boy is the son of 2 Boston police officers and he’s eager to show his support.
Recently, Garrett was able to go to a New England Patriots preseason football game where another cop, Officer Kim Tavares, was singing The National Anthem. As soon as she started to belt out the famous words, little Garrett knew that he just had to join in. With his hand held right over his heart, watch how Garrett sings out every single word of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner.’
I just cannot get over how much love, enthusiasm and pride he has in the exact moment. During the performance, his singing caught the attention of everyone around him. Just watch as people start to pull out their phones and record this sweet boy sing with all his heart. It’s no wonder that this clip has now gone viral with over 2 million views on Facebook.
I just know that his parents are so proud of Garrett right now and you just can’t help but smile when you see him sing. I sure do wish I could’ve been there to witness this special National Anthem performance in person. Who else is with me?
The television show 'What Would You Do'' is a hidden camera show hosted by John Qui'ones. Each episode focuses on putting strangers in difficult situations and then recording their reactions. You never know how someone will react from topic to topic. Sometimes, there is anger while other times you will find yourself wiping away a tear. Most of the episodes are inspired by real life events and that’s exactly what is happening on today’s show.
You may have seen in the news where an Albertson’s grocery cashier was accused of making shameful remarks towards a customer using food stamps. There are numerous government programs that aim to help those in need and in today’s episode, an actress poses as a woman who does not have enough food stamps to cover her purchase.
In the dramatization, the struggling woman asks the cashier if there is any additional assistance available such as other coupons. That is when the cashier, also an actress, expresses her displeasure for food stamps and the woman asking for ‘free food.’ Customers in line witness this entire exchange and that’s when, one by one, almost everyone comes forward to aid the poor woman. Even some customers who may not have a lot of extra income themselves offer to pay for the woman’s groceries.
It’s truly amazing to watch the kindness and generosity in the hearts of these shoppers. And when they find out that they are on What Would You Do, we get to learn even more about what motivates these kind strangers to help someone else in need.
When you are police officer, you never quite know what your workday will be like. And some of those days can truly take an emotional toll. Deputy Bill Dunn will never forget a recent call he ran for a 3-year-old little girl. The temperature was around 80 degrees when Deputy Dunn arrived on scene in a parking lot. The little girl was left inside of a hot car where she temperatures could’ve been as high as 110 degrees. When the officer reached the 3-year-old, she was nonresponsive and he feared for the worst.
The dramatic dash cam footage shows the officer racing to his patrol car with the young girl clutched tight in his arms. Deputy Dunn wanted to get the toddler into the air conditioning as soon as possible and that’s when she started to regain consciousness. But this officer’s day wasn’t over just yet. As soon as she was awake, Deputy Dunn put his car in drive and started to the hospital. After 3 days, the young girl was finally released. This is a call that will stay with this officer for a very long time. Thanks to his quick thinking, this girl’s life was spared and she’ll make a full recovery.
Now, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office in Florida is hoping that this footage will help remind others of the dangers of hot cars. I’m just so glad that Deputy Dunn was there that day and did everything he could to make sure that little girl would be all right. What a hero!
When God placed animals on this Earth, He truly knew what He was doing. Anyone who has owned a dog knows that this is especially true. These furry friends hold such a special place in our hearts and they truly become a part of our family. One of the sweetest things is watching a dog find joy in the small things from life.
Kirk is a precious 3-year-old Border Collie and she’s loving life right now. Kirk won the Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge in 2017. This unique contest gives dogs from all over a chance to show off their incredible skills in areas such as agility, flying disc and more. Kirk blew the competition away, but that’s not even the most amazing part.
Right now, this funny pup is watching a replay of the winning competition and Kirk has the best reaction. She sits right in front of the television and wags her tail as she watches herself on the screen. Then, she starts leaping up and down almost like she’s running the agility course all over again. Some people hate watching themselves on camera but this precious pup is the exact opposite.
I just love how excited she gets the longer that the video plays. Kirk is definitely proud of her achievements and it shows with every single leap, hop and tail wag. There’s no doubt that this Border Collie has a big personality and it’s adorably coming through right now. Who else is cheering along with Kirk?
Music can truly change someone’s entire day. It has the power to make up laugh, cry or shout ‘amen’ at the top of our lungs. There are so many different genres of music and sounds that everyone can truly find something that they enjoy.
Viktoriya Yermolyeva knew she was meant to perform from a very young age. In fact, she was in kindergarten when her parents were told that Vika had perfect pitch. Over the years, this talented pianist studied and performed classical music at some of the most prestigious schools and concert venues in the world.
Vika absolutely loves playing classical songs on the piano, but she felt herself drawn to another unlikely genre of music, rock. That’s when she decided to embrace her inner rocker and started making online videos of her incredible piano arrangements of popular rock tunes. There’s something about taking a heavy metal song and turning it into something more classical and elegant that truly makes you appreciate all that music can offer.
Today, Vika is visiting a piano showroom in Vienna and she noticed a beautiful Baroque Grand piano. She knew right then and there that she had to sit down at this instrument and play one of her famous arrangements.
Just listen as she starts to play ‘Chop Suey’ from the heavy metal band System Of A Down. This song sounds so different on a piano. I just love how Vika is embracing all forms of music and combining them all to make her own unique sound. Who else wants to hear more from this talented pianist?
A professional fighter is known for being aggressive and tough. They beat people up for a living, so surrendering is not a word that they use in their vocabulary very often. 27-year-old Cody Garbrandt knows all about resisting surrender.
Cody is a mixed martial arts fighter signed with the UFC. He comes from a long line of fighters on both sides of his family, so Cody’s days of throwing punches started very early on. One of his first competitors was his older brother. Zach. Their mom placed both of the boys in wrestling, so they were quick to practice their skills on each other. Even though some of their fights were serious, Cody always knew that Zach was the one place he could turn for support and friendship. This was especially true when Cody entered a dark period of his life and thought about committing suicide. Zach showed up and saved Cody’s life. That was a huge turning point in this young man’s life.
These brothers were bonded forever and they even started attending church service together. It only strengthened their relationship with God and with each other. That’s when Cody began to realize that God carries you through parts of your life and ‘there is a time and a place that you do need to surrender.’ Even though most fighters don’t like to use that word, Cody knows that surrendering to God is the best thing he ever did. What an incredible I Am Second testimony from this inspiring MMA fighter.
