Donald C. Mann: Jesus gave us the keys to working the works of God. One basic key is to know that Jesus is in the Father, the Father is in Jesus, and that the Father did the works that Jesus delivered.
John 14:9 "Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?"
NOTE that even though the disciples (or at least Philip) had been with Jesus for 3 1/2 years or so, they still missed the key element that everything Jesus said and did was in accordance with the Father, and exactly and clearly represented the will of Father God-Abba-Daddy God.
KEY NO 1: John 14:10 Jesus makes it clear that while Jesus did His part on earth, it was the Father (by Holy Spirit) that did the actual signs and wonders - the works - that Jesus did. Yet even the diciples were blinded to this key fact.
